A very big rip off. I bought an Xbox 360 2 days ago, and was told that if I paid $5 extra for the Product Protection Plan, I could return it within 6 months if it didnt work. (It even says this on the receipt.) Today, it red ringed, and I brought it back. They now tell me that I can not return it or get my money back, the warranty is REALLY 24 hours.I was lied to, and am out my money, with nothing to show for it. Do not go here, go to Pawn America instead,where you do get a warranty. Edit: I talked to another manager, and was able to exchange the Xbox 360, but had to pay an additional $30 because it is a 4GB Slim model. There is still no actual warranty beyond 24 hours. I do not recommend buying electronics from this store. Know that the Product PROTECTION Plan is NOT a protection plan at all, but an exchange plan that allows you to return a product within 6 months for store credit (equal to the purchase price)to "upgrade" to another---as long as the product you purchased is working and in the same condition in which you bought it. Do not assume that the PPP is a warranty, as it is in other stores and even Pawn America.Their in store flyer states "Peace of mind Product Protection Plan. 6 Months of worry free protection. As low as $5." Not being able to return a nonfunctional product within the 6 months is contradictory to the meaning of everything the flyer states. This plan is just free money given to them from people stupid enough to believe that they are truthful in their advertising. Unfortunately, that includes me now. One additional thing. The staff there is very inattentive, and being first in line doesnt necessarily mean that you will be the next to get service. The wait time to talk to an employee can be extremely long, even if there are not many customers. I had to wait about 20 minutes to talk to the manager, who knew that I was waiting for her, as she was pricing things. It was very unprofessional service, and I will not be returning to that store after the sum of this poor experience.

I understand they were busy at the time but I waited without exaggeration for 1hr and 15 mins for help with an item behind their counter. When I was finally asked if I needed help with something the employee told me without any eye contact and complete disinterest that "its best to wait in line" and went about his business. Im now standing in line to be helped after I watched them help 30-40 people that arrived after I was already here waiting. Cant say that I much appreciate the way they handled this. I frequent this store all the time and never spend time to write reviews but this felt worthy. The retail side of things in this store have never been handled this way. Youd think perhaps he would have simply taken a minute or two to hand me the item to view more closely after having seen me standing there over the last hour and fifteen minutes in the very same spot waiting calmly and respectfully. Very simple. I miss the old staff. Very disappointed.

The most inconsiderate unprofessional customer service that I have ever experienced in any type of retail and is a very sad that people work in a field that they dont like. I was told my gold was fake, I dont wear fake jewelry I said and I said try again then they told me they had a offer and was real and before the person can continue the manager denied me service for no reason at all and he was dealing with a customer at the time (which is very unprofessional). I left and never went back. How can people like that still works in a diverse environment with a demenor like that. Ashame on the people thats works and hire people of that attitude. What happened to happy customers? Excellence service? No you just take our money or buy our things so you can profit! No customer service at all at this place!!!! NEED ALL NEW STAFF!

Customer service doesnt exist here. Went in to buy a cheap jigsaw for a job. Politely asked for a discount per usual routine at pawn shops. The clerk at the counter resisted my request so I ask again. He went in back to ask. I could hear him telling his boss how Im a waste of his time. He came back out and I apologized for wasting his time.. Figured he was on the clock so I didnt realize it was "his time". Made the purchase anyway because it was needed and I was already there. I walked out and caught another employee outside smoking. Mentioned how the service was and he replied that this particular employees is bad with people. Why does he work customer service if hes bad with customers? The other reviews are correct this is not a good place to shop or get a loan.

Had silver coins to sell them, the manager wanted to way low-ball, and when I asked him to give me what Pawn America would, he replied that he wanted to make more money. Funny thing is, when I walked out he didnt make anything. Theyre tewls & fewls . I went to P.A. & got treated fairly.
