RUDE, HATEFUL, AWFUL OWNER TO DEAL WITH!!! NEVER GO HERE! Went into the store to buy ammo with my dad, owner said he only had a partial box (which was fine), then he named a price and I waited about 3 seconds to respond because I was thinking what grain I shoot and he said "NO sale!" and took the ammo from my hands and put it back on the shelf. He said I was taking too long to make a decision. I told him I was thinking about the grain but he didnt care. I then asked about a very old double barrel gun and asked if he had paperwork on it. He said "NO, and you cant prove it isnt what I say it is". Not sure what he was getting at as I was just asking about the history of the gun. Then he told dad and I to get out and said we have a "bad attitude". This old man/owner was a joke of a person to deal with and insanely rude. I usually like to shop the little guy stores because of customer service, but this guy was incredibly rude and I will never go back. What a jerk of a guy!!!

I brought a custom hand-made fixed blade knife in that had a french douk-douk style blade, and a two toned ebony and pecan handle on it. He basically said it was trash, and wasnt worth the 15 bucks that a bunch of taiwan and pakistani knives that were sitting in his bin. I had the feeling he was either going to trade a production knife he had, had a crappy blade to unload on me to get what what I had, or just didnt know what he was talking about which was more likely since he was a little ignorant about Randall Knives and didnt even know Bob Dozier had a line of Ka-Bar folders out even though he has one of Doziers knives in his display!

My fiance bought me $100 of Remington UMC 45grain buy my SIG 556 likes the 62 grain ammo being it has a 1in 7 twist. I went there with all my ammo today and told them what has happened and he asked what he would like them to do. After looking through their supply I didnt see any 62grain so I told him " I dont expect you too but Id like a refund then told him Id be comming back at the end of the month to do another ffl transfer". He then gave me the $100 back. Super thumbs up to these guys and I will continue to give them my business and recommend to everyone else as well.

The guys at Gunslinger know their products and have a vast knowledge base regarding antique and specialty firearms. When time allows they are happy to talk guns with you to your hearts content. They both buy and sell at very fair prices and they appreciate your business and tell you so. Their store is clean and organized. If firearms, shooting sports and hunting are your thing, Gunslinger is THE place to check out in the Ozarks. You wont go wrong there!

Management and owners are full of knowledge on new, used and antique arms. My father and I have purchased from Gunslingers for decades. In this shop we have found an ownership with integrity and who treats customers as they would be treated. We cant speak highly enough of this shop. Youll do well to look here if you appreciate fair business and straight shooting individuals.

These guys are amazing. More knowledgeable than anyone I have ran across in Springfield. Good home town guys that will do what they can to help you anyway they can. If youre looking for ammo, a new gun, or an old gun, look no further, these is the only place in town to do business. I cant think of a better place or better people to know!

Gunslingers is one of the best gun/pawn shops in the Springfield area, and I wouldnt dream if going elsewhere. An amazing selection of firearms on hand at great prices. Unlike some competitors, they treated me right and handled my transaction professionally.
