Sold some DVDs here recently. The gentleman who owns the store was polite and fair and gave me a good price for them. (Better than Cheapo, in fact.) The store sells a lot of firearms, too, so if youre not comfortable around weapons, you wont like it here. Also, if you cant handle the occasional bigoted anti-immigrant, anti-black, anti-Obama, or anti- whatever comment from CUSTOMERS you should avoid this place during its busy hours, as is sadly the case with most gun shops these days. I hasten to add that the owner didnt espouse or agree with any of the rancidly prejudicial statements of some of his more colorful customers. He also didnt contradict them, especially when one gentleman informed me loudly that the problem with this country is that "they let too many of the wrong kind of people in these days." I swear, walking in there was like taking a hike through Kentucky.

I dont understand why people keep trash talking them about their stance on people of color, Ive been in there multiple times each time there were individuals of different races all being treated equally. They arent racists, they work at a friggen gun shop, its all about how you present yourself when you come in with body language and how you speak to them. All very helpful, fair prices. (If youre going to complain about their prices I suggests going to Bills Gun Range and Gander Mountain, youll shut up then.) I just moved to the Richfield area not too long ago and plan on making multiple purchases from them, and getting a few sent to their shop.

These guys are great, and will have my business for as long as Im in the cities. Ive had some less-than-great experiences at other gun shops in the area, but the guys at Metro are always cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. The first time I was there one they knew I couldnt purchase a handgun that day (was still waiting on the CCW permit to come in the mail), yet one of the staff still took probably 40min to show me all the guns in my price/size range and discuss the pros & cons of each (without steering me towards the most expensive). I have purchased two guns from them since then, and referred several friends.

First time I went to price/ check things out. I was very happy with the service that I received. All questions answered and I didnt feel as though I was invisible. Everyone that works here is wondeful. I came back again because of the service and purchased a Sig 229P with a couple boxes of ammo. I would highly recommend them based on them having the all around "customer service" idea down. From the time you walk in until you leave, you should have no issues. Selection of firearms is also very nice, anyone should be able to find what they are looking for with good price points.

I like this place I went in to look at the prices and asked about different types of long guns they where helpful and quick with assisting me. Ive only ever had one problem 5 years ago when I purchased my first gun from them and a guy asked me to pull my pants up his name was Dave coolest old man ever , I was sagging and I didnt argue, that same man helped me get my cc license and always treated me with respect and Im sure I look like a guy that would stick a pawn shop up good store staff and guns Ill be back in my terminator voice for that terminator gun on the wall

Went in to just see what they had for handguns. They were extremely helpful and offered what I thought was excellent advice. I ended up leaving without buying but then came back a few days later and purchased. Their prices were some of the best I had seen and I felt their service was great. I would also offer this... dont be offended if they keep their eyes on you. It is an urban pawn and gun shop and they take security seriously. They even asked me to keep my hands out of my pockets and I totally understand. They will have my business for years to come.

Bought & sold several items here over the past couple years, staff has always been courteous and helpful. Ive always gotten reasonable offers on items Ive sold, and prices on items Ive bought are on par with other shops in the twin cities. A lot of the firearms they carry are new, not used, and priced better than Bills or some of the other large gun shops. While I cant comment on the experience of others, Ive never witnessed any discriminatory/racist behavior by the staff, or rude behavior in general. Ill be doing business here again.

This is the first time I have purchased from Metro and was extremely pleased! They not only helped inform me of my options but actually resolved a possible issue before it happened. The guys were fun, respectful and very friendly. I WILL purchase there again in the future and will also make sure I refer my friends and family there too. Thanks again Metro for taking the time to really inform me of all the options I had and making my shopping experience enjoyable. Its tough to find that kind of service everyday!

I went in to purchase a box of target ammo and noticed the staff open carry their weapons. I dont take issue with this but they looked upset. They froze as I walked in. Im not sure why but maybe they were scared because Im half black. I walked in very presentable too and even greeted them. They didnt say anything to me as I approached the register. They were acting strange. I felt very unsafe. I wont go back and I recommend any person of color to conceal carry when around this establishment.

The people are great. Ive been to many gun shops, and these guys know their business. I highly recommend these guys over Gander, or Frontiersman any day. Ive purchased several firearms through them, and had sold a few to them as well. The only down side is they are a smaller operation, and I would love to see them get larger and impact the market in much broader and deeper ways. Hope you guys will continue to make us customers proud.

My favorite place to go for my firearm needs. The staff is great and knowledgeable, and you cant beat their prices. They always treat me well and they wont gouge you with prices like other places. If they dont have what you are looking for there is a good chance that they can get it, and you will certainly get the best deal on it. I have been going to them for many years and will continue to do so.

I went in simply to check out there firearms and talked to one of the employees briefly about a gun training course, since i did not have my CCW he kindly recommended a course with someone he knows personally and got me ten dollars off. Now i am just waiting for my CCW in the mail, thank you and will be purchasing from you guys soon.

I purchased my m&p shield at this store. Amazing store and made me feel right at home. Great pricing and even better customer service. The staff treated me very well , and JR was very helpful. It was passed closing hours and he still continued to work with me. I will continue to purchase more firearms at this store.
