My issue is ice. This store recently just went to 3.99 per large bag from 2.99.....just to do it. I shop a bunch at this store and it was always was a good feeling to get a reasonable price for ice.....kind of a reward for shopping there. Not anymore. Regrettably for this Pearlmutter Shop-Rite store, overcharging for ice creates an impression that the entire stores pricing is purposefully on the high side (salad bar per pound price an example). Puzzling business model with Wal-Marts food store 3 blocks away. On my visits to the shore, Ill be stopping at the easily accessible Rt 66 or the T River Shop-Rite where the ice is still a fair 2.99. Its ice...........not Evian.

This is the worst shoprite ever the stores lights are mostly out so its dark and the chicken that is always on sale always smells or is bad so they told me that you cant freeze it you have to use it that day and God forbid you order cold cut turkey and dont eat it that day because tomorrow it gets slimmy

A little dirty in comparison to the Waretown Shoprite (which is only a few miles south on route 9), but tolerable. They are organized and the staff seems to always be on their toes and somewhat friendly. I personally prefer the Waretown Shoprite.

People are nice and friendly. What annoys me is items are frequently moved and y ou have to find what youre looking for because it wasnt where it was last time. Also frequently items are out of stock.

I have always loved the layout of this store. It runs a little more expensive, but quality is important to them. I like the wide variety of produce. Oh and the bakery is great too!

A clean, organized store. Always stocked and always well staffed. Although the Manchester store is closer I prefer to shop at the Lacey store.
