Really like this store, the produce, meat, cheese, deli, bakery and liquors area are very good. I just bought clams from the seafood section and they were fantastic (Im very careful on where I buy meats and seafood-and was pleasantly surprised). Sale prices are competitive with big named supermarkets and Costco. I dont mind paying a little more when you see items that are hard to find, but the grocery items not on sale does run higher than other stores. And the "look" of the store could use a facelift. It could be high end, just do a little sprucing up...

The food is good, but one male worker there (who is short and fat and normally organizing the fruits and vegetables) is very rude to the customers. Once an old lady wanted to ask about a price and he immediately shouted "wait!", then let her wait for about 10-15 minutes without talking to her, even though he had nothing urgent. Another time a gentleman asked about the corn type (yellow or white), he said " I dont know!" rudely. This is not the right way to treat customers. Other workers are really nice there.

We are so fortunate to have Best Market in Holmdel, I shop the sales from the circular, and love the seafood and meat department. Tony prepped our Prime Rib for Christmas as good as any 5star butcher, and the salmon and other seafood have been of great quality, A super Cheese/Bakery department (like a specialty store) and the sale pricing has been a great value. Love this store over the larger name food stores!! prices are always better than the competitors and the Meat department always has the best cuts along with great sales weekly. The Deli department is always so accommodating to my many questions and never seemed annoyed or bothered. This is my one stop shop for a dinner night at home. Great prices and wonderful staff!

Gone downhill rt after opening rotten produce. No one ever in customer service. Good luck trying to return something. They act like youre bothering them. Awful. Dairy meat & some grocery prices are outrageous . We only went once a month or less just for sale items. Wont buy produce anymore. Staying with shoprite best prices & customer service. Thats why theyre # 1

The sushi is definitely the best part, myfamily and i used to always go get sushi there, sometimes more than once a day. Only reason we dont go as much anymore is because the price of the sushi rose. But its still great tasting and the market itself is great too

Would give negative stars if I could... worst, most disgusting place to shop ever.... Their meat department needs to be shut down for health reasons and the management at this place should be unemployed.. BEWARE!! STAY AWAY!! Go to Shop Rite instead...

They have a great BBQ restaurant in-house. The meat is priced very well. The alcohol is a bit costly but it is nice having it at a grocery. Produce section had a decent selection.
