Grew up with this place. Its generally pretty good, although the prices are a bit steeper than Foodtown in red bank just down the road. I tried to go there just before closing (12 midnight) to buy flowers for my sweetheart who I was on my way to see. I pulled in at 11:54 (Verizon time) and ran up to the door to the night-watch manager saying goodnight to the evening manager. They told me sorry, theyre closed. I gestured to the bright Wachovia sign in the parking lot that was displaying 11:56 and said I had only one thing to buy and that I thought they closed at 12. They said sorry there was nothing they could do. Are they a good supermarket? Sure. Do they go the extra step to please their regulars? Nahh..

This is possibly the worst store ever. The employees are exceptionally slow and unknowledgeable, not to mention, rude. The shelves are never well stocked and often, the most basic items are missing. The produce is not well-kept and the employees stocking the produce all seem dirty. Well convenience tends to be key, and I do live right around the corner, I will never come back to the store. Overall, terrible store and terrible experiences.

The store upgrade has removed many items we used to get there, cajun spices, Finesse shampoo, gallons of icecream, protein cereal, lipton mushroom onion soup, and more. Now we need to go to another supermarket. We used to shop there only, not now. They might lose us.

Great selection.. clean and organized! BUT checkout lines are ridiculous! They have no self checkout and never enough people working! You wait in line such a long time!! Everyone is frustrated about the long lines! Bring some self checkouts back!!!
