I decided to go into PC Richards tonight to see what was up in the world of HDTV. Now I have been in many appliance/media/tech stores in my time but I never have been in one with so much professionalism and expertise. On my way to the TV area I first met Kermo who knew as much about Apple computers as anyone that works at an Apple Store. I will soon be in a market for a new MacBook and a new IMAC and given the sales offered on last gen models at PC Richards Kermo will be my first port-of-call. But I was really there to be educated about new Ultra HDTVs. Well I met Mark and his manager Adam Miner. Not only do I now know everything there is to know about who makes what and where the deals are, but Mark sold me an OLEDSS E6P 55" OLED TV for an unbelievable price. Plus I got 24 months 0% interest financing on a package that cost over $3000 including a 5-year warranty (power supplies are not expected to last that long on these TVs and that are are not covered under manufacturers warranty). With a PC Richards warranty you can just pick out the latest equivalent model and walk home even if its 4 1/2 years to 5 years from now and cost more than yours does. Add a wall stand and I now have the greatest TV in the land with built in audio and voice commands. My wife and I are going to be two happy couch potatoes. But the real reason I bought this TV is because of Marks expertise. No hard sell but just impressive smarts and audio-visual expertise. Bravo PC Richards. Now I know where to shop for this sort of gear!!!!

I Just purchased a new computer today and I want to take a quick minute to explain my situation and say thank you to the staff, especially the store manager Mike Orr. My computer i purchased was an HP Envy23 and there were none left in stock but I decided through research this was the computer I wanted and there were none left in stock other than the floor model. I purchased that and the transaction went smoothly, until i got home and there was an administrator password on the computer set by someone and I was not able to install any software. I contacted Mike and he really did a great job to resolve my issue and quickly. He did not pass the buck to an IT guy or tell me to go call any numbers to get answers. He actually worked with me personally over the phone and helped me to resolve my issue by instructing me to do a series of steps to restore the system. I was pretty bummed to get home and think I wouldnt be able to use my computer because I would have to now send it in for service but the issue was resolved immediately and they really do stand by their motto that they service what they sell. A huge thank you to Mike and the rest of the staff. I really appreciate their customer service and follow through. I was a customer while i was there and even after I walked out the door.

I was looking for a place to purchase a bed and a tv. Not many places have all in one shopping and I was pleased to learn PC Richards did both. I was instantly greeted by a salesman Mark Braxton and Manager Kevin LeReaux. I explained my needs and was instantly taken to the bedding department. They explained the many differences between the beds and let me lie down and try out the ones I liked in private. I explained to my sales associates which ones I liked and wanted some more info. I eventually decided on a Hybrid bed because it fit my needs. I know a good deal about televisions and asked Kevin to let me look and I would call him when I was ready. I asked a few questions and explained where I wanted to be financially and within in ten minutes we decided on a televison. The credit process was a breeze and the young lady at the front counter was very nice. After the sale and all the details were ironed out Kevin and Mark both shook my hand and I was very pleased with my transaction. I will definitely continue to shop at PC Richards for all future sales and will let my friends and family know of my experience. It was a breath of fresh air knowing that I can shop in peace and when I needed questions answered they were logically explained. Thank you PC Richards

Service department is not very efficient and very subpar. Ive called 3 times and pretty much have gotten the run around each time. Today was my last straw! We bought a new refridgerator about a month ago for our tenant. Was delivered at 9pm and they didnt take the old one. We had to install it ourselves. It died about 10 days after installation. Tech came out. Said a part was broken and had to order it would call when it came in. Never called. I called and was told that it would be installed in 2 days. Meanwhile my tenants have had to throw out 2 refrigerators full of food out and eat out of coolers. We were told that they didnt have another slot for the tech to come out until this coming Saturday to which I pitched a fit and they "found" an appointment for today. Between 11 and 1. Never came out and they said the appointment wasnt until Saturday. I am livid.

First off I never do reviews but KERMO MCKENNA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE IS EXCEPTIONAL! I live in Norwalk and even when I move to Hamden I will still be coming to this location and location only . If I move overseas I will ORDER from them. The salesman I deal with is KERMO MCKENNA. He give you accurate information . He gets you what you NEED ! NEVER PRESSURES YOU. If you deal with him as I highly recommend you too will have a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! I walked into P.C Richards & Son looking for a new tv for myself. While looking at the vast selections of tevs, an employee named Kermo Mckenna came up to me and asked me if I needed any help. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me options that were in my price range. Speaking with Kermo he helped me choose the 4k Sony tv for $1499. With this I was able to get free delivery and free installation on my wall PLUS a discount on the walls mount and sound bar! This is by far the best deal I could have gotten and I couldnt have gotten it without the help of Kermo! I am definitely going to come back here again for these great deals! Had an amazing experience with these guys! Ive been having a hard time getting a new wall oven, because my old one was about 25 years old, and apparently the sizing of the hole in the wall doesnt stay the same with manufacturers over time. I worked with Jason on finding a new one. He knew his stuff. Told me all about the convection cooking differences and how all that jazz works. We got a site survey set, and had a couple of installers do true measurements of what could fit. We ended up going with a GE double oven. Had it installed a week and a half ago, and we love it! Couldnt be happier! If you ever need anything, do yourself a favor and go see this guy! Hes aces!
