LOVE THIS PLACE!!! So my wife Nancy and I moved into our new house about a month ago, and we decided to check out Friedmans Appliance Center to see what they were all about. Needless to say, we shopped with them for ALL of our home appliance needs. They have everything here, literally everything! The customer service was fantastic! When we first walked in the door we just so happened to be greeted by the general manager Chris. He was super nice and extremely helpful when it came to answering all of our questions. The staff here is informative, not pushy at all, and they are all very easy to talk to (as we have made a few trips in since talking with Chris). On top of it, they have a store mascot named Beau! Beau is this beautiful, happy, friendly golden lab that just fits in perfectly with all the animal lovers in the store, my wife couldnt get enough! So we decided to purchase everything for our new home through Friedmans! We ordered a 26 cu. ft. Maytag Ice2O Refrigerator, a Maytag Maxima XL Front Load Steam Washer with the PowerWash cycle, a Maytag Maxima XL HE Steam Dryer with a quiet SoundGuard drum, and last but not least still sticking with the theme we purchased a Monochromatic Stainless Steel Maytag Jetclean Plus Dishwasher with the Steam Sanitize option! Now dont get me wrong they had what appeared to be almost a hundred different brands to choose from, but being that my mother always preached Maytag to me as a kid, we had to keep the tradition alive. Everything arrived according to schedule and on time! After being installed our kitchen couldnt look more perfect! We love everything about it and we have Friedmans to thank for that! I strongly recommend Friedmans Appliance Center to anyone searching for those home needs! Hope this review was helpful : )

Do not buy anything from this place ,trust me I learn the hard way .I bought appliance for three house from this business .They are really nice when they are trying to earn your business ,but once they make the sales .You be lucky to get a return phone call .I bought a range top from them for my mother .I told them I need it by Mother Day and they said they can deliver .Well when I call to check ,I was told it wasnt going to be there by Mother Day ,I told them I was going to cancel the order .All of a sudden I get a phone call from the salesman and he said he can deliver by Mother Day .So they deliver and everything was fine i thought ,2 week after my mother receive the range I was helping her clean it when i notice something wasnt right .One of the burner didnt sit right ,so i call Friedman to let them know .They send out a repair guy that told us that burner did sit right because it not the right one .He told me that it going to take 3week to get the right one and he going to have to take it all apart .I was not happy because ,this is suppose to be a new range .I call Friedman to let them know what there repair guy said and I demand they take this range back and bring me a new one .Make a long story short .That never happen ,what they did was they gave me a demo range that they has on display after switching some part around and try to pass it of as new .Now keep in mind between me and my sister we spend close to a 100k at this business and this is what they do .I gave them plenty of chance to make thing right and they just kept on telling me the manufacture will take care of it ,which they never did .The brand was Fisher & Paykel .

While I had a good experience in purchasing my appliances at Friedmans, my recent experience has been very unsatisfactory. I purchased top of the line Thermador appliances from Friedmans 4.25 years ago. Almost a year ago I noticed that the liner in the doors of my refrigerator were cracked. I had appliance insurance through Friedmans and was told that the liners would be replaced under my policy. Servicemen came to look at it and said the liners needed to be replaced and that they would order new liners. When a different serviceman can to make the repair, he said the liner would not be replaced but they would drill holes and fill them. I contacted Tom Norman at Friedmans and was told that he was dealing with Thermoor and the insurance company to resolve this. To date there has been no resolution. The liners would not have cracked unless there was a problem with the refrigerator. Additionally I told Tom that the refrigerator was making loud noises. I want these issues resolved and cannot give Friedmans a good rating at this time.

My sales person, Thomas, failed to inform me that Id have to wait more than a week for the delivery of my refrigerator. I told him that my fridge had died and I was in need of one asap, fully expecting to have it delivered that day. After purchasing the fridge and paying several fees that were completely overpriced, I was THEN told it would be delivered at a later date. He failed to give me any sort of timeframe for the delivery. I had to call several times to get a delivery date and time, and then the delivery was made at a time when I was not home (a time other than what I was told). I rushed home and was treated rudely by the delivery guys. They plugged my fridge in (something I paid $40 for!) and didnt even bother to take all of the plastic wrap off! They acted as though I was a huge inconvenience to them, even standing in the alley behind my home and yelling "she aint coming" as I was on my way to meet them. I heard them, as did ALL of my neighbors. How completely unprofessional and rude! I will never shop here again.

Marc Shaw has been an excellent contact for us! We have discussed options with him over many months, and each time he is courteous and professional and treats us like we are his only customers! He accommodated our every desire and answered every question. We are building a new kitchen in Huntington Beach, and have purchased stove, exhaust fan, double oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, etc. Marc is VERY customer service oriented and a pleasure to work with. He provided us with detailed dimensions to assist the design and building, options to satisfy our needs, and patiently guided us through the process. Marc also assured we obtained the best pricing and qualified us for some manufacturer rebates we would not have been aware of. Friedmans prices were the best we found in Southern California.

The store is very nice and they have a large selection of appliances. The staff is very courteous. I purchased a set of Maytag washer/dryer and a GE refrigerator from Kent who is very knowledgeable and provided outstanding customer service. The delivery and installation of my appliances was no easy feat as they had to take the units up to the second and third level of my town home. Initially it did not go well but Kent went out of his way to make sure the job was successfully completed. The customer service we received from everyone is top notch and I would definitely buy appliances from them again.
