This is one of our familys favorite areas in Plano for shopping and restaurants. Many many choices and varieties of food available. Also great area to walk around for people watching and enjoying an urban setting in TX. And there are many apartments if you want to live in the neighborhood. As of Apr 2015 there is a great deal of construction ongoing as the retail/housing area expands. Located right next to North Dallas Toll road to go south to Dallas or north into Frisco and Collin County. UPDATE May 2016. Smart urban planning by city and developer. We have watched this area grow and prosper since 1992 when we moved into the area. Great retail mix for nearby apartment residents and for a destination travelers. And there is ample places to park your car; street or better yet during hot weather the free parking garages. Very pedestrian friendly so park your car and stroll around. Hang out on the street side tables to be seen and watch the passing parade. Nearby Marriott hotel for out-of-town visitors is very close to the heart of the area (Bishop Street). Right next to North Dallas Toll Road and south of Sam Rayburn (Hwy 121) intersection so easy to get to from surrounding counties.

Yall, this is seriously one of my favorite places to walk around outdoors. Forget going to the gym. Sometimes Ill come here just to stroll my little one and get some fresh air! Ive included clips of The Shops in my latest Dallas vlog in 1080p HD for those of you who are more visual: youtu.be/DxBfU2kUiVA Its beautifully set up, and theres plenty of shops and eateries for your leisure. Though its catered more towards an adult crowd, its family friendly as theres a Coldstones ice cream shop right by the pond where your kids can run around freely. I will say though, this isnt the type of place to shop at if youre looking to get a ton of "practical" shopping done. They dont have your typical retail stores that youd find at lets say Stonebriar, Willow Bend, or North Park, but you can definitely find some gems here. I personally love that they have an Urban Outfitters and Francescas Collection.

This is going to be for the new location, The Shops of Legacy West. Its slowly opening, I went to a soft opening for North Italia, great great food, large portions. They have friendly wait staff and good drinks. Ive gone a total of three times, two of the three the wait staff was excellent! One needed a whole lot more training or find a new job. :- ( I love the atmosphere, the open concept kitchen, great lighting, the restrooms room nice. I cant say enough nice things about it. Ill go again. Its a little pricey so if you dont want to spend the money on a regular basis, its a nice treat if you go like once a month or something but its its a nice place. I love it, I love it, its great and I would recommend it.

The Shops is more of an adult atmosphere than family. My daughter lived here and loved it for the night life. There are a lot of wonderful restaurant choices and pubs. My faves are the Angelika Movie Theater, Samui Thai Cuisine, Half Shells Seafood. Those are the primary reasons I go to The Shops. There are some fun shops I like to go to while Im there. Especially Urban Outfitters and Another Place & Time. Theres a Marriott Hotel on the grounds. This could be a perfect weekend getaway. Where waking shoes since theres lots of strolling to see it all. The lights and fountain are beautiful during the holidays. Its not easy to maneuver children or strollers here. But adults need their playground too!!

MiniLuxe Legacy is a horrible place! I had an appt scheduled a week in advance and they sent me a reminder 10 mins before my appt... thats not why I hate it. I hate this place because I paid well over $100 not including tip for a mani and pedi and I was there for about 20 mins and they were done. They rushed me out of there. My nails look horrible. I went in with my nails long and asked the lady to file them down evenly but not too short... WELL now Im walking around with hands that look like I bite my nails til theres only skin left. Ive never had my nails this short ever!!! And my toes look even worse! And the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

The atmosphere at Shops at Legacy is upscale it is a nice area the stores that sell closing or items and bars and restaurants are pricey very pricey one nightclub still there sambuca360 I dont go there anymore because too many big Suggs go there and its gotten kind of cheesy it used to be good when it was I different place years ago I passed by there the other night they had a band on stage and they were not good you can hear them outside they were singers off-key they could not sing. Musicians for Auntie butt singers no good the place is going downhill its nice looking than you but the type of folks that go there has changed its ruined the club

Love coming here. Beautiful place. Great to walk or hangout on one of the restaurant patios. The lake is beautiful. Careful at night. The City of Plano has totally messed up and the sidewalk is messed up around the lake. I tripped on it and cracked my phone screen. $150.00 repair. No fun at all!!! Totally irresponsible of the City of Plano and Shops of Legacy. Good thing Im not the suing type. I had a big bruise on my knee and hand.

Excellent upscale and high end outdoor shopping and dining district. Modern apartments, chic décor and a very safe and well-maintained area. Hugely popular, especially on weekends, so expect large crowds and limited parking. Clientele is upper middle class families, businessmen, techies, hipsters, young professionals, housewives, singles looking to mingle, empty nesters, retirees and suburban tourists with children. Highly recommended.

By far the BEST place to dine and hang out North of George Bush Tollway and South of hwy 380. Plenty of tasty dining options! Nice retail boutique stores (although they could use some more additions) and a great movie theater the Angelica! The location is superb and very convenient. When Shops at Legacy West opens soon, this area will easily be THE SPOT in all of Plano, Frisco, Allen and McKinney and the Colony!

Great place to dine and wine, but not to shop. Store selection is very limited-- better to go down the street to Stonebriar Centre if youre planning to shop. Also, I lived here for a year, and there are several bricks on the sidewalk that needs maintenance. Some stick out of the ground creating uneven surfaces, thus a tripping/fall hazard. A lot of ppl run at the shops of legacy, but I dont recommend it.

The shops at Legacy has it all: shopping, nightlight, good food, and even an Angelikka Film Center to catch the latest independent film! No matter if youre craving Steak,Tacos,Mexican,Italian, Japanese or Burgers youll find a restaurant to match not only your craving but your wallet also! Dont miss the dancing fountain on North side by Paciugo. Great for place for lazy brunch , business lunch,or night out.

Decent range of bars and food. Shopping tends to be focused on high priced womens clothing. Only a single ice cream spot which is always packed...feels like a missed opportunity here. Generally crowded on weekends but on weekdays can find privacy in the park/pond area. Parking is a nightmare after 8 PM on Friday until Sunday afternoon. Not a whole lot of events happen which is a shame.
