NorthPark Center is the dominant super-regional shopping center of choice among upscale shoppers in the Dallas Metroplex, with over 21 million customer visits in 2004. NorthPark Center has been named the "Most Popular Attraction" in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for seven consecutive years from 1998 through 2006. -Dallas Business Journal, 1998-2006 The Dallas Morning News characterizes NorthPark Center as one of the "Seven Wonders of North Texas." "Only in Dallas would something built in 1965 be considered historic. But as one of the earliest shopping malls in the country, NorthPark manages to feel both venerable and perpetually modern. Dallas treats most real estate development as disposable -- trendy today, bulldozed tomorrow. But NorthPark just gets better and better. Its cool and classy and soothing in scale. And where else can you admire important art in the hallway...?" -The Dallas Morning News, April 2003 Specialty retail stores and restaurants at NorthPark Center have the highest per square foot sales in the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Sales in many of NorthPark Centers specialty stores and restaurants are in the top 10% nationwide within their own companies. -Wall Street Journal, 2000 and United Commercial Realty, 2000 NorthPark Center has a densely populated and affluent trading area containing over 1.3 million people and an immediate neighborhood (75225) with an average household income of $187,927, and an average net worth of $385,759. -United Commercial Realty 2005 and The Dallas Morning News 2004 Within a three-mile radius of NorthPark Center, there are 2,188 homes valued at over one million dollars, and within a seven-mile radius of NorthPark Center, there are 14,349 households with annual incomes exceeding $250,000. The median value of owner-occupied housing units in the neighboring "Park Cities" of Highland Park (75205) and University Park (75225) in 2004 was $635,000, and the median sale price of homes in the Park Cities in March 2005 was $932,000. -United Commercial Realty 2005, The Dallas Morning News 2004-2005 and RECON 2004

The flagship for upscale shopping and the weekend mall experience in Dallas. Everyone who is anyone shops here, and just about every high class boutique you could want or ask for is here. Always clean and impeccably maintained, this huge indoor galleria and art friendly center features fountains, a large central green space and park area, several wonderful restaurants, plenty of treats and eateries and a traditional fast food court. A large movie theater, valet parking, stained concrete flooring and no pop-up kiosks definitely make this center stand leads and bounds above the competition. Excellent concierge services, customer service based security presence, and Dallas PD make sure you always feel safe and at peace while browsing and window shopping the latest fashions and wares from your favorite designers and brands. One could spend an entire day here and never get bored. Most stores here tilt toward the upper income and high class clientele, but there are still plenty of shops and stores that middle class and blue collar families can enjoy as well. Most of these will be on the second level. VIPs and fashionistas can book special appointments with boutiques as well as shop boutiques outside of regular store hours to avoid the mall crowds. The restrooms and always spotless and the grounds are shined and wiped by white collared maintenance and housekeeping personnel. All in all, this is THE best shopping center in the Dallas area by far. Highly recommended.

This mall was one of the first in Dallas. Its a premiere spot for shopping and has many high end stores and few regular department stores. The movie theater inside is a nice AMC which is located on the second floor, not too far away from the food court. There are also really nice restaurants that I have frequented in the past. Love Kona grill for reverse Happy hour but just know that you may have to get there early if you want a spot on the patio. I like the fact they have valet parking so you can just pull right on up and dont have to trek too far with your bags if youve done a lot of shopping. The valet guys are really nice and efficient. I like the art that is sprawled throughout the mall as well, you can find some of the same artists at the DMA. Parking is a beast though. I wouldnt advise going there during the holiday season, I know people have circled the parking lot for an hour and still cant find a spot. I normally dont go to the mall for shopping anyways. I go there for the movies and sometimes to eat at the restaurants.

I have had 6 clients in the last month come back to my store and show me jewelry they purchased here. The sales associates have told them they are all compatible. Do not trust the people that work here for advice on body jewelry purchases. They continue to give my piercing clients 14 Guage jewelry when theyve been pierced with 16 guage. Even after my clients have expressed this fact, the sales associates still advised they would fit. No. That is not how it works. You need to stretch a hole before putting a larger piece of jewelry in. What you are doing here is selling the wrong size jewelry to my clients who are then trying to force the jewlery through, since YOU told them they are universal. Jewelry size (aka guage) is not universal like a remote. You are causing damage to the people you sell to. I wish you would get informed and train your staff. It is a very serious issue. Im surprised you havent been sued yet for giving advice on a matter you have no knowledge in.

This mall is great, its huge and has lots of high end stores and restaurants. Also is great for walking as it is very long, and has art displayed all through it. But, what made me give a three star review is about a safety hazard that I must talk about. I was about to leave the mall I can notice two racists who were walking behind me where ever I turned. I decided to look at a store so to see if they would come behind me which they did! Then I decided to walk a bit but I sat so there would be no chance for them to follow me but as they were walking they looked in an indirect way to see if I was still there. I felt they were up to no good so I walked towards where a Police officer was and then they stopped following me. I had to take all these long steps just to get to my car safely! I feel the management of the mall should put a security checkpoint at each entrance and exit to protect the shoppers from these racist idiots.

I love Northpark but lately I have noticed since Im at the mall almost everyday that the courtesy drivers only like to pick up their Caucasian shoppers. I actually was standing there all these bags in my hand the guy on cart 6 almost runs me over to go pick up two young Caucasians empty handed. So I was like wow. So later on in the week I actually sat and watched them do this repeatedly only screening for these type of riders. This is sad seeing that Im an exceptional tipper you never know who you will get. This is supposed to be a free service and now your profiling who your going to pick up. It was a African American older gentleman yesterday trying to get in the mall he was yelling trying to get several of the courtesy drivers attention with no results finally this one guy does a u turn and pick him up after three of the other guys passed him really....Smh
