EMERGENCY ! EMERGENCY BUYER BEWARE SERIOUS MISLEADING FACTS! This store will sell you a pet saying that you have a life time warranty. They will take your payment in full or planned payment. Then pack your puppy, puppy kit in your car and give you all of the paperwork. Sounds good think again because what they didnt tell me is that the warranty is only good if you continue to buy all your puppy product for its health their. Crazy thing is if you dont buy their or online with their affiliates you have no warranty. In order for them to make good on the warranty of replacing your pet if it should die of accidental or medical reasons; Is to spend thousands of dollars in their store. Well the average dog when I bought was told by them to be $4000 dollars. They were friendly to me until I brought up the fact that I should have been informed about their policies before I purchased the puppy. I Requested to talk to the owner but they refused and then diverted my concern to a dead end department of theirs. In addition the puppy had medical problems that I was not informed of. The vet that they sent me to told me not to buy all of the stuff that they said the pet needs because a premium dog food of high quality is what the puppy really needs. Honestly folks the vet is more qualified then they are at the pet store to determine the overall need of the pet. Because my experience was won of deception; if I had to do it again I would use that store to play with the pets to help me decide what kind of pet I wanted. I would then have gone to a personal breeder that would have told me the truth. Give yourself a break and get a better pet for lower cost an hassles. I will keep you posted because I am not finished with my complaint. I dont want this to happen to anyone else. Note: I believe the vet because people even stay healthier eating healthy foods and not living on supplements. supplements are to give you what your not getting in your diet. If your not getting it then their is a food group your missing.

I recently bought a puppy from this store, she was very sweet, but unfortunately had to return her because of allergies. I am from three hours away, so I called ahead to make sure that I would be able to return the puppy for a partial refund. After talking to the stores manager, a woman, she informed me that this was possible. It is the stores policy to give a partial refund an take the dog back if, and only if, there is a bad allergic reaction or if the dog is in danger because of another dog already in the family. After driving three hours to return the puppy, I got to the store and the woman manager refused to take the dog, refused to talk to me, after waiting for twenty minutes she finally came to the front of the store and started yelling at me. She was very unprofessional to say the least. Thankfully the male manager stepped in, finally, and helped to resolve the situation. I was able to return the dog and get my partial refund. He understood that store policy is store policy, it has to be kept. The female manager is rude and unprofessional, if you choose to go to this store stay away from her. As to the fish, I bought a couple from this store about a year and a half ago. They were sickly and died quickly. The customer service is inadequate, they need more people working or more diligent employees. I have been left waiting for service more than once for over 5 minutes. Overall this store has potential, it is clean and there are few dedicated employees, but not enough.

This place doesnt seem to care about animals at all. They just keep pushing for a sale and never cared where the dog was going. After hearing their whole speech, they tried talking me into a $6,000 puppy payment plan. This included nothing important compared to local shelters actually trying to help animals rather than pushing out sick animals to make money. Local shelters usually charge less than $200. They care where the dog is going and will not force you to feed low quality food to keep a warranty on your pet. The shelters also had the dogs up to date on shots, microchipped, spayed, and flea and tick medicated. They actually cared about the animals they had. And before thinking that lifetime warranty is making it worth it. You would have to have 30 shelter dogs die if each costs you $200 each to make up for their $6,000 price. That doesnt even include the extra medical bills from getting them spayed vaccinated and medicated for fleas. On top of that, shelter and foster dogs tend to be healthier than puppy mill dogs. Please help the people trying to save dogs lives rather than giving these greedy people your money. It will save you a lot of money and heart break, along with knowing youve helped a homeless animal rather than contributing to the existing problems of homeless pets by paying to over breed dogs in puppy mills.

Marlena at the Lewis Center Petland is awful. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General, the Humane Society, and the Better Business Bureau, as well as Six on Your Side. A simply Google search of "Petland Lewis Center turns up an entire host of searches that opens the public eye as to the horror of what is going on at this store. This manager is extremely unprofessional, and almost killed our puppy by allowing him to sit in a crate there before our purchase with kennel cough so bad that the vet thought that he would die. He now has chronic kennel cough he is susceptible to, hes had 3 bouts with it and my wife and I must pay out of pocket because of the policy that after 15 days all costs go to the buyer. We shall see. More than anything I want to take action because of the rude nature of Marlena the manager and the way she talked to us has left an awful taste in my mouth. Mike Dewine is meeting with me soon. Please everyone research the Lewis Center petland and see what I am talking about. Not all Petlands are created equal, this one has had 11 violations I have learned while the one in Hilliard for instance has had zero and noted that the Lewis Center petland was notoriously really ran in a shady manner.

First of all, all these reviews are not real! Petland has picture contests where you have to write a good review to enter the contest. And second of all they allow the people in the contest to cheat using a auto liker to get fake likes on the contest picture and to share there own picture thousands of times to get more points to win. Ive contacted them several times about the cheating and they would not do nothing. My dog was 1st place and they deleted her picture and another contestant that entered the contest who also complained and they would not put them back in the contest. Why because we said something about the cheating and told them it was unfair. They also allow their own employees to enter the contest and also use the auto liker app. This place is a joke! Also the last time I was in there their dogs were eating other dogs poop and they put dogs together that bully other dogs. I witnessed a bully dog not allowing another dog to eat or drink. Everytime the dog went to eat or drink the bully dog would bite it and hover over the bowls. Like I said these reviews are fake and only put here so people are allowed to enter the contest and they get a good review from it!
