I had a 5-star experience. Well-knowledged polite staff offered advice and a listening ear when concerning the diet of the kitten I am watching for the weekend. I have been to many pet stores and independent pet stores throughout many years trying to buy the best food for my cats and dogs. Never does it go this quickly and easily. This place was also reasonablely priced for a high-quality pet store in Detroit. Where I live in Midtown pet stores of this variety seem to be more "upscale". I felt very comfortable here and will be returning. Viva to the owners who are incidentally doing something great for our city.

So it has closed? Very cute, but way over priced. The only thing I found that was affordable was a dog bagel for my friends dog. They must have known they were closing, the woman at the cash register saw I wasnt making a large purchase and and continued on a a personal call. Usually I would walk out, but as this was a gift, I stayed. Finally, I was waited on. No way to run a business. I wont be back. LOL....since it has closed, no problem.
