My experience at the store was fine. I have a gecko i got from a reptile breeder. I just want to note i have NEVER had this problem until i used petcos feeder crickets. I purchased 100 crickets which lasted me 4 weeks when i went to my breeder. However when i got 100 crickets from petco... Disaster. Half of them died the second NIGHT. Not just a casual death, but these things are diseased. There were about 20 little nats all in the cricket keeper and the crickets are dying so fast. I can actually watch them dying right now. You get the casual crickets that die but with these ones it was like a cricket plague. I will not feed my lizard these because these insects are sick. I got them sunday. Its now wednesday and 3/4 are dead. Something is seriously wrong with these crickets and i dont trust anything from petco anymore. It has been a disgusting experience. I would like to note that i take care of my crickets. I make sure their keeper is clean and they are fed because i want them to last. I will never get anything for my lizard or other pets here again. I will stick to my family supply stores and my breeder. If you want feeder crickets i would highly recommend the reptile emporium called pets and things in shelby township. Their crickets last forever and they know what they are doing.

THIS PLACE IS AWEFUL!!! I took my YORKIE for a bath, hair trim and toe nails clipped, THEY CHARGED ME $42. My dog was there for OVER 2 HOURS! 2 + HOURS FOR A YORKIE?? These people charge whatever they want, their prices are NOT published, so they charge people different rates, depending on .....who knows what? When I called I got a different (cheaper) price. But any way, when I picked my dog up, he still had a huge matted spot in his eye. They had a million excuses why they couldnt wipe his eyes (face) clean, like I do at home. After I insisted that she clean his face, she had the nerve to tell me that my dog isnt well behaved! SO DAMN WHAT, DOG LADY!!! NEITHER ARE YOU!! YOU PROVIDE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THEN ATTEMPT TO INSULT MY DAMN PUPPY!! My Puppy WILL NOT EVER GO BACK TO THIS FILTHY DUNGEON!!

Best Pet co Ive ever been too. Been to quite a few! April was great! I had my hands full with my first puppy and she went above and beyond to help! Definitely going back. *week later* Andrew is helping me train my puppy and makes me excited to go home and continue my training. I would give him 6 out of 5 stars in the training department. keep up the good work guys! Thank you. =)

there never seems to be anyone around, some employees look like they could not care less and like they were hired off the streets. there have been newborn babies in the rodent tanks and no employees were even aware of it and even dead animals rotting and festering and after being told, you get the response of "no, I checked the tank this morning." its really disgusting.

I dont understand why we had to pay for a nail cut when the lady only filed our dogs nails when we asked and paid for a cut and file. The groomer was ruff and our dog almost fell off the table and she looked like she didnt care too much about that. Me and my Girlfriend are going to go to a new place because of this.

We called on a very busy Sunday to schedule our dog for a bath, nail clipping and flea/tick application. They got us in and out in under an hour. The store is located by lots of other shops so you can drop off your pet and go shopping elsewhere. Very friendly workers in the grooming services section.

Some items are behind counter. Took a ticket for item I needed to purchase waited in line and was told they were sold out. If thats the case please remove tickets so I dont waste my time waiting ib line

Wide variety of pet needs from food and medicine to every toy under the sun aquariums are smaller than used to so maybe look elsewhere if you want to get some new fish for your tank
