Ive been grocery shopping in this store for a little over a year now. I have to admit there produce and inventory has significantly change over the course of the year. Theres more and more organic produce available as the time passes. One can never go wrong with organic produce. Also they have fresh bread as well. Trick is to pick up earlier in the day. The staff at the check out counter is always quick and efficient. Ive never waited over 6 minutes in the checkout line. I find that remarkable as the checkout line wait usually tends to be longer in Supermarkets but not this one. If you live locally and shop over $50 they deliver produce to your home/apt. They have a citibike stand rite outside as well that make it super convenient as well. Ive never gotten cold cuts from the deli section so I cant really tell about the produce from Keyfood deli. I am very happy by this neighborhood gem. It can always do with more organic produce. I believe the neighborhood has evolve significantly in the past 2 years and locals wont mind paying an extra buck for organic produce. Again very impressed by the staff efficiency at the checkout counter. I usually get Pete and Gerrys organic free range eggs , Horizon Organic Milk, keyfood white bread, mince meat (turkey/veal/chicken). Sometimes the beef taste funky if its been sitting on racks for a while so Ive stopped getting beef. They need to increase inventory of shrimp/seafood. They have frozen shrimp in the fridge in packets. Not a huge fan of seafood that is packaged and have expiration date well over a month. Oh there is a restroom , I dont know if its open to public but shoppers and customer can use it. The restroom is located on the right side of the checkout counter. All in all this supermarket suffice my grocery list and the staff is prompt. The manager is doing an amazing job as you can see her always working on or with someone at the same time very eager to help and approachable.

I have to say that I have been a regular customer of this place for 2 yrs. They have good fresh fruit and vegetables. But a very very bad customer service !!! Be aware especially when you do cash back at the register, they dont give the cash and then they say they did ! It happened to me twice ! First time I realized that after a couple of hours so I couldnt do much about that. Second time today ! I just stepped out and I remembered that the cashier didnt give me my $20 cash back. I go back and ask the cashier, I also apologize because I was distracted. She says she needs to check her register, ok no problem. She takes her register, and speak with her manager who wasnt helpful either, she doesnt count it, comes back and just says :" ok Ill give it to you but Im not sure ..." !!! Its like I was the thief ! You guys have cameras you should check them !!! I could have also waited for her to really count her register !!! They are ok to take your money but they dont even apologize when its their fault !!!

Love this supermarket, and wish I lived closer to it (though they do offer delivery). The store itself is quite small, and some areas may feel a bit cramped, but boy so they pack their stock to the ceiling, metaphorically of course. Its also got a great selection of meat and seafood, and its one of the few places carrying whole octopus in the neighborhood. Price here is very reasonable too. Staffs are friendly and efficient, which makes a overall pleasant shopping experience.

Great selection for a small local grocery store, especially when you dont have a car, and its on the way to and from home. Theres also a CitiBike stop right in front of the store. The produce always looks fresh, and they have organic options. My go-to spot for groceries.

As a small neighborhood grocer its ok for what it is. Great for basic staples. Products tend to cater to a specific demographic focuses on organic and healthy eating. Thus, prices tend to be higher. Also selection is limited due to its small size.

Downtowns staple super market. Key Foods is a solid place to get food. Isles are a bit tight, but its better that they carry more stuff than the place be easy to walk around and empty. Lines move quickly and staff is friendly.

Local, chain grocery store with good quality produce and meats. The deli counter has a good selection. Only downside is the fish selection is pretty limited and what was available was all farm raised as opposed to wild caught.

Good fresh produce and within walking distance of pretty much all of Downtown Jersey City. Great for picking up a few ingredients after work for Dinner. Friendly staff and highly organized layout

Key has the best produce around for an amazing price. Youd be surprised of their selection of groceries overall for such a small place. Only thing is their toiletries selection is limited.

Great little shop. Some things can be expensive but that is what you get with these local little stores. They have great rotisserie chicken but they often sell out as they are popular.

Small grocery store with all the essentials. Its usually neat, clean and not terribly crowded. It might be a little pricier than shoprite but the experience is so much better.

A neighborhood supermarket. Clean, adequate selection, although everything is so tightly packed it does feel claustrophobic when trying to navigate the aisles.

Slightly pricier than the shop rite nearby but a much more enjoyable experience in my opinion. Its small and easy to get in and out with exactly what you need

Aisles are a bit cramped here and you wont find the same selection as larger super markets in the area (like Shoprite). Otherwise its pretty decent.

So much packing into a small store. Can be a bit cramped at bust hours but cant beat the balance and quality and price in the area

On the smaller side for a grocery store but it does have all the products you need and the items that are stocked are very nice.

Fairly big grocery store. Some things are really expensive compared to other stores. Vegetables and fruits are usually fresh!

Good selection of goods and also very reasonably priced for being downtown! Far less crowded than the likes of shoprite.

Vast improvement over the old C- Town but selection is still limited due to the size of the store.
