DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOURE NOT A LOCAL! Sorry, but thats because I want to keep it all to myself! Best Shop Rite store in the area. A very tall young woman, Marissa, was working the customer service desk. She assisted me and made sure I found what I was looking for. Another time she loaned me a quarter to go get a shopping cart. Then another time she was on a register and I observed her kindness with an elderly couple as they struggled to find their way through a handful of coupons they dropped. Great service like that is hard to find and should be recognized and acknowledged. As for the market itself...great produce choices, quick counter service in the deli area, well done soups ready to go, comfortable aisle layouts. Only downside really is the service desk at the meat department. The folks that work back there should be told that customers can hear their snide remarks and foul language. On several occasions theyve taken an attitude when asked to provide a cut of meat. Overall though the meat department is still the best in the area. You can get better cuts at a meat market for similar pricing, but for one stop shopping you cant really beat this store. CONS: Parking lot is always pretty full, you will need a quarter to use a shopping cart, spotty cellphone service deep in the interior, slightly overpriced meats and attitude problems from the meat department staff. Avocados are rarely ready to eat if bought the same day. PROS: Great cakes made to order, fast deli service, helpful staff, updated pharmacy with great discounts, easy access self checkouts, never long lines at check out, shop from home service, sweet little cafeteria, clean rest rooms, very neat freezer section, well maintained, clean sales floor. Ill always try to shop here first, even if I have to drive past other supermarkets along the way, including the other two Shop Rites in the area.

This is a good shoprite and employs very good people. Much better service than the shoprite on Route 37. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Ask them anything and theyll find it for you. Meat section is usually very well stocked during the day but I shop at night when everyone is home eating dinner or getting ready for bed, in which, selection can be quite sparse sometimes. Understandable as the staff has mostly left for the day. The only drawback is the parking lot. It seems the lanes are a bit smaller and Ive had more than a few dents and scratches after leaving the supermarket.

I want to start off by saying that this is not my local grocery store. I had to stop in over 4th of July weekend to pick up some things for a BBQ. I thought I was going to spend much longer in the store than I did because even though there were a lot of shoppers, every check out lane was open! When was the last time you went somewhere during any holiday and saw every check out open? I dont think I ever did. Kudos to Shop Rite for putting their customers over their bottom line.

Best grocery store in the planet. They have products and food that I cannot find at any other grocers store; their prices are excellent without coupons; and with coupons, unbelievably cheap. Quality of produce, Deli, seafood, meats...excellent. ONLY GROCERY STORE I WILL SHOP AT!!

My favorite grocery store. The best prices, great selection, and good customer service. It gets crazy busy on the weekends, but thats how it is for all grocery stores. Plus, even when it is busy, they open extra registers right away, so I rarely have to wait in line very long

This location is one of the smaller Shoprites and decor is dated. And on occasion sales items sell out quicker because of the smaller inventory. But the location is convenient for locals. And ultimately has most of shopping needs at a better price.

Its a Good Shop Rite for the area. Always clean. Always staffed properly. Cheaper than Shop Rite on 37. Differrent owner too. Security is good. Employees are very helpful. Parking lot always full. YOU can be assured all products are fresh.

This Shop Rite could definitely use an update. The selection, quality and freshness of the food is not where it should be. The ONLY reason we use this Shop Rite is because its less crowded than the Brick and other Toms River locations.

This is the only store I do my grocery/food shopping at. From the Bakery Dept to Produce to Appy to Seafood to Meat to Dairy and every isle in between, always have what I want in stock. All the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been shopping here for many years out of convenience. The produce is poor, its already turning bad when you purchase it. The shelves are always missing price signs, especially in the produce section.

Never have to wait for a cashier more than one cart deep, even during holiday rushes. Friendly vibe, management are always on the floor helping out, and they are very approachable. Great prices and specials!

Mid way of the older small ShopRite and the modern mega ShopRite, good prices, well stocked but it still uses the pay to use carts. Put in 25 cents and get it back when you return it. Good store overall.

Great ShopRite! Clean and well stocked. When we visited there were lots of sales for ShopRite club members so we signed up for a card and then found some great prices on some items we needed.

Even while the blessed abundant Food of Providence is not getting any cheaper, ShopRite has everything as reasonable available as can be, and the freshest Produce of all Supermarkets. Thank you

My favorite store. But the background music changed from easy listening oldies to some loud annoying noise. Super friendly helpful seafood dept. Consistently grumpy man in meat dept.

Great store, well organized. Poor selection of organic produce. Really they wish they would expand the organic produce selection. Would also like to see more grass-fed meats as well.

Can order deli at a kiosk and pick up after done shopping. This should be in very shoprite. When I go to other shoprites in the area I am upset not to see this lovely convenience.

Pretty good. The shelves needed to be stocked, but it was the end of a weekend full of bennies grilling at their bois house so its forgivable.

This one is not designed like other shoprites, the layout makes me feel like Im in a puzzle video game that I cant wait to get out of.

As far as grocery stores go, this is about as good as it gets. Very wide variety of items and some of the best prices in the area.
