Staff is not helpful at all. First off, let me Begin by saying I am a woman who is legally blind. I was in the frozen section looking for one product in particular. There was a male employee in this section who was stocking some items on the shelves. Also, nearby there were two female employees stocking in the meat section. I was asking my 11 year old son who was with me to help me find what I was looking for. We combed those two sections in search of Banquet chicken and Stouffers Lasagna. No aide was given. No help was offered. No one said "Hey Im familiar with that product but we dont carry it" or " let me show you where you can find the product youre looking for". These people were right next to us and pretended like we were not even there. I hate going into stores where I cant get any help from the employees. I spent almost 3 hours in this store and walked out with four items. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I guess Key Food does not cater to customers who have disabilities.

Key Food is a local supermarket that is very convenient when you only need a few things. It is overpriced compared to other supermarkets. They always have what I need and I always find their produce and meat selection to be fresh and plentiful. The deli has a wide variety of foods and Paul who works in the deli is extremely friendly and will offer suggestions if you cant decide what to get. The cashiers are generally friendly, but are usually distracted by their cell phones or the other cashiers. If you are purchasing an item that is on sale, make sure it rings up correctly when you pay. Several times I have had to bring the advertisement to the cashiers attention in order to get the sale price.

A neighborhood grocery store with a friendly staff. Sadly, almost everything in the produce department needs a headstone rather than a price tag. I now bypass the aisle entirely. Watch out for the expired dates on yogurts, too -- ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE ON SALE. The store has so much potential and offers many organic and hard-to-find international items. It just needs a thorough steam-cleaning, and the whole produce aisle should be sent out for composting. Oh, the parking lot sucks, but thats the case with almost every store on Staten Island.

Racist cashier. I had less than 12 items. So I went to "express check out" lane. The cashier just stood there and stared at me. So ok. I thought maybe the lane is close. As soon as I left the lane. She waved at the white guy walking behind me, saying: hey sir I am open. Are u kidding me?!

Dirty, overpriced and only good for emergencies like milk and bread. The only thing worth anything here is their sale on Corona beer, everything else they think theyre clientele is from Todt Hill. Were NOT. I rather drive to Met Food on Victory then shop here.

Definitely the best neighborhood supermarket by far...it might be a lil expensive but worth it for the convenience...The fruit is always fresh and the meat section has awesome cuts and a selection u wouldnt expect from a small neighborhood supermarket

Overpriced. Produce is always bruised, old, and limited. Deli is always a long wait and several employees are irritated and unhelpful. I only use them as a last resort and am always regretful and disappointed.

Not my favorite Key Food location but they have a nice selection of produce. Some of the vegetables werent the freshest and there were quite a few items that were grossly overpriced (cleaning products, etc.)

Great place to pop in for pretty much anything you ever need, though this is my default for snacks and beverages when visiting nearby friends. Fresh meats, dairy products and great produce section, too.

Worst produce in the world, deli department reaks of whatever cleaner they use, and things are often either ringing up wrong, not correctly priced, or not priced at all.

Basically ok just watch for bait and switch. They often"run out of" sale items. They could be more competitive in their prices, but thats business. Clean run store.

Small, go to local supermarket with very pleasant mix of young and older staff. Market is clean, has a small deli, and offers some organic choices as well as.

Small supermarket but good if you are just looking to pick up a few things. They never really have sales, but the food is fresh and its very accessible.
