Amazing spa! It has a very high-end feel that is unique for Utah. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully appointed, and truly a relaxing and healing atmosphere. The boutique also carries an impressive selection of unique local products at reasonable prices. I was lucky to receive a Keep Calm & Carry On gift certificate, so I got to go in for an exfoliating treatment, massage, and facial. All of them were so well done. Steven and Annette were great, and made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was very happy with the products they used on me - smelled great, and made a big difference on my skin. Ive had good spa treatments before, but what I loved most about Basalt is all the small touches they incorporated into my day. The massage table they use has a little shelf beneath the face rest, and they placed scented basalt stones on it, which added a lovely aromatherapy component to the treatments. I had a brief wait between my massage and facial, and was treated to chocolates and a warm lavender neck wrap. Heaven! (I loved the neck wrap so much that I bought myself one from the boutique- highly recommend.) My facial took place on a table that allowed me to recline, rather than lay all the way down, and it was so much more comfortable and enjoyable. And, to my surprise, I got a postcard today, thanking me for my visit! These ladies know how to run a spa - they are killing it. I will be back as soon as I possibly can. My one small critique is parking isnt easy. Pretty crowded area and if there is dedicated spa parking, it wasnt marked, and was full anyway. Not enough to even take half a star off though - definitely a 5 star experience.

Truly wonderful experience. This spa is so well kept and modern. It feels so fresh, and welcoming. The receptionist was very inviting, and accommodating. I had a relax massage with therapist Kelsey. She gave me one of the best massages I have every had...honestly! She massaged muscles that I didnt even know existed. She was also very thorough and methodical; I felt like butter by the end. I also had a fantastic glow facial by therapist Kelly. She listened to my every concern and restored my faith in my aging skin. She has a wonderful touch, that relaxes the mind, body, and soul. I cannot wait until next month for my next two treatments at this wonderful spa by these two very talented ladies! Thank you!

I purchased the "Dont Worry Be Happy" package for my birthday on 1/16. It started with a fabulous Relax massage by Jasmine and Im telling you, my best massage yet! I love that they use hot stones with every treatment. I didnt want to get off the table for my next service it was so awesome. My next service was a Glow facial with Amber. Again, I was treated to hot stones and even massage on my face, neck, head, arms, feet, hands and legs. Seriously so lovely and my skin looked awesome afterward. Both services were great with energy movement which I love. They have such a great flow to both services. I cant wait to book again!

I rarely write reviews but my experience at Basalt was so wonderful I just wanted to give them a shout out. I am from out of town & while visiting, my sister treated me to a facial and massage at Basalt. Basalt is genuinely wellness & healing centered. The ambiance is so welcoming from the tea, the serene environment, and caring customer service. The massage I received from Jasmine was the best Ive had in my life. She is kind, pleasant, and has an amazing intuitive touch. The facial Amber gave me was awesome and my skin felt refreshed. I will visit Basalt on my future visits to Salt Lake. I love this place!

My boyfriend surprised me with a couples massage. We did the "Don’t Worry Be Happy" package for my birthday. Our experience at Basalt was more than 5 star service. My boyfriend and I felt like we were in heaven. He has never had a professional massage or facial before; as we walked out he was blown away with everything Basalt did for us. Steven gave an exceptional massage and Alyssa also performed exceptional with our facials. We will be returning and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for relaxing retreat away from the stress of life. Well done Basalt. Well done.

I had been traveling all week and was in need of a recharge. My first visit to Basalt will definitely not be my last! You can tell they take pampering to a whole new level from the moment you walk in. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. I was actually accidentally drooling during my massage it was so good. I did their Holiday special and my cranberry peppermint facial was just as festive as it was rejuvenating. I also loved that they have a mini boutique filled with mostly local products. Definitely go here for your next day of pampering!

I have had a lot of massages from many therapists but this was the best 90 minutes of my life. Courtney was amazing but it sounds like all of their therapists are top notch. They have obviously thought through every single detail of the spa to create the perfect experience. The smells are refreshing and relaxing, the music is hypnotic with the sound of waves crashing and Courtney was so in tuned with my every ache and pain that it put me in a trance and I felt like I was floating. I cant say enough about what a blissful experience it was.

I tried Basalt for a much-needed facial based on reviews here and am so happy I did. Kelly is incredible – she gave me the best facial Ive ever had. She is very thoughtful, lovely and talented. And she absolutely knew the best type of facial for me. The salon is modern, beautiful and serene. And I am very happy with the products, Dermalogica, I went home with. Do not hesitate to book a treatment at this wonderful salon, especially with Kelly. I am looking forward to my next visit.

By far the best spa experience Ive ever had. I received a Glow facial from Annette, which was amazing, and so relaxing. She listened to my concerns and problems with my skin and customized the facial for the best results for my skin and suggested products to me that I can use at home, my skin has never felt and looked better! The spa is beautiful and the service was amazing, I have recommended this place to everyone I know and I cant wait to go back!

Oh my goodness Im so happy I found this place! I got a Glow Facial by Alyssa and it was heavenly! They have wonderful customer service, everyone was so helpful and sweet. I left feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated! I bought the Rosemary Clarifying Serum they recommended and I cant wait to use it! I love the atmosphere of this place and that they use organic and local products a lot! Cant wait to come in again in a few weeks for my wedding facial!

My husband recently gifted me the Remedy massage at Basalt. The space is perfect for a spa. The clean modern lines lend an atmosphere of order . . . so needed for a mom of 4 to relax in!! The staff were all very attentive and friendly from the moment I walked in to when I left. My massage with Victoria was the best Ive ever had and she used many techniques I have previously not experienced but loved. Ill definitely be refering and revisiting!
