bought a 5K motorcycle from these guys. Love the bike, but service department is lacking badly. Seems all they want to do is rip you off. Went in with a rear tire problem. (Minor repair.) Instead of doing the repair,...(which I did myself today and it worked like a charm!!)...They decided "NOT" to take 5 minutes to fix my tire and thought maybe they could sell me a new one!?? For another $200+ bucks.???? Im sorry but thats just lazy, shotty, price gouging, rip you off service. The entire repair took me 4 and a half minutes and its good as new! I guess Im writing this post because Im a veteran and I dont have a lot of money. I asked them to help me out but that was out of the question I guess. This is my only transportation to and from work when my wife has our car. Im a bit upset ,..as was another customer who was literally cussing out the entire service department over a rear tire problem on his bike. He was a bit more aggressive with them and before I left he had 5 guys looking at his bike before hed spend a dime. (lesson learned!) Sad to say but Ill be taking my bike somewhere other than Rockwall Honda from this day forward for any and all service other than what I can do myself. This is not how you run a business! You guys just lost a customer for Life. Never going back. You messed up Cliff!

Worked with Eric, or at least tried to. **Do not work with Eric**. I cannot speak for the rest of the dealership, but youll have a horrible experience if you work with Eric. I reached out about a used FZ09 I was interested in, and that I would be trading in my cbr250. I explained to Eric what I was looking to accomplish, and that I was also working a deal on an FZ07 at another dealership but id rather pay a bit more for the FZ09. Eric came back with an absurdly high number, and made me feel like crap for even considering an FZ07. He bashed my trade to a pulp even though he had never even seen it. I told him that was not a number I would do, and hung-up. When I went to the other dealership to complete the deal on the FZ07, I found out that Eric had actually CALLED OVER to my salesman there, and tried to destroy my deal with them. He told them my cbr250 had been in an accident and was a piece of crap, which totally is and was wrong on all accounts. I personally will never consider Rockwall Honda Yamaha again. Its unfortunate because there may be other good sales people. However, Eric has single-handedly destroyed any relationship i could have with this dealership.

I recently brought my Yamaha V-Star 650 in for a diagnostic check. The bike was not starting and I suspected it was a diagnostic problem. After looking at the bike, the shop called and stated that they believed something had fallen into the shaft and that the engine had seized. I did not believe that was the problem, thanked them for looking at it, and explained that I would come back to get it. I had explained before hand that the engine would attempt to start with the spark plugs taken out, but that was not taken into consideration it seems. When I went to have the bike towed back to my home, it was brought out with the engine half disassembled. The shop had attempted to access the cylinders and by necessity had removed the tank, seat, carburetor, and intake. All the parts other than the carburetor were in a cardboard box. The carburetor was on top of the engine. No one should expect to bring a vehicle into a shop assembled and then get it back ripped apart. Just because I choose not to have a repair done does not give you the right to just leave something worse off than when you received it.

The service department is a joke. My 2009 Honda CRF450R wouldnt start so I took it to these guys to get a diagnostic done for $100. They had my bike for 2 weeks when they told me it would only be a couple days. Every time I called and asked them about the diagnostic they told me it would get done that afternoon and this went on for several days. When they finally got around to looking the bike over they told me it was PROBABLY the ECM which is a simple plug in part and that they needed an extra $50 to figure it out. $150 is pretty expensive for a PROBABLY diagnoses so I told them I would pick one up and put it in myself. Then when I went to go pick up the bike they left it in pieces with the plastics off, the seat off, all the wiring disconnected, and the spark plug out of the motor. I asked the service guy about it and he said, "Were not going to waste our time on putting your bike back together if your going to fix it yourself." The nerve of this guy.

I paid for two injectors 2.5 weeks ago and they said it would take 2 days to come in. After a week I had to call them and they said theyd check and call me back. They never called me back. I called them every day for the next week and each time they said they would check and call me back but they never did. Finally last week a guy promised he would do whatever it took to get me my injectors by the beginning of the next week i.e. Mon-Tues. Here it is Thursday and THEY NEVER CALLED ME AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY PARTS. I guess Ill call tomorrow and let them lie to me again.

Buyer beware..... Simply disshonest. I took my bike to the service department, they told me on 3 differnt occasions it would be about $300. After they got my bike, they then changed the price to $1400 to repair. They never even looked at the bike by their own admission. They just based it on the age of the bike which never changed... It was the same age when I brought it in as it was when they changed the price. I told them to do nothing with the bike, then they still charged me $80 for doing nothing but change the price..... VERY VERY DIsshonesh business practices

Not too honest on the phone. I called asking about tank bags. I was very specific & told him I was already at Al Lambs but their selection was small. I asked if they had a good selection in stock because I wanted to put them on my bike & see how they fit & this cant be done from a catalog. I get put on hold for a few minutes & then he said "weve got a good selection, come on over". I get there & only find 2 in stock, 1 of them is missing parts. When I questioned the quantity in stock the guy said that 2 is a good enough level for me to make a choice.

I paid $80 for a full hour of service to replace a leaking shift shaft seal (a simple 15 minute job). Mind you, I brought the already-purchased seal in with me. Within the first week it began leaking. Just over a month later I finally found the time to call about getting it replaced to find that they have a 30-day warranty. I guess they only expect their repairs to last a month. Pretty ridiculous.
