DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! We purchased a vehicle from this company in October and since purchasing we have had to replace the brakes, transmission and fuel pump. The fuel pump is the most recent. We figured it wouldnt be covered under our warranty, but hoped that the dealership would help us out. They sent us to some fly by night car lot/repair shop and they replaced the fuel pump. This shop said that was what was wrong with it. We get Jack Maxton to pay half of what this shop wanted to replace the fuel pump and then get our car back. Less than 36 hours later it isnt running again. So we call the shop that replaced the fuel pump and they tow it back and determine that it is the computer, but "If you leave it running it will stay running". So my husband picks it up and in under 2 hours of non-stop running it dies again. We have it towed to Ricart who then takes 20 labor hours to determine that the fuel sending unit is bad. This should have been replaced with the fuel pump. So now Jack Maxton says there is nothing they can do about it. They have promised to help us only to tell us a few days later they cant. No one will return your phone calls or will follow up with what they say. I understand they are trying to make money and I understand that when you buy used cars things happen. The brakes, we had to pay for the parts and they covered the labor. And the warranty covered the transmission. But no one there seems to want to have a returning customer or happy customers. I will never buy from them again. So now we owe this fly by night shop that told us it was the computer $40 and Ricart $1087.00 for the real problem.

This is my first experience with any car dealer, and my first auto loan. Jack Maxton was referred to me by several acquaintances who had excellent experience with them. I found their website, filled out the financing application online, and a "contact me" form and our sales rep, James, emailed me to thank me and ask me a few questions. I was sure I was leaving with a car one way or another, but I had one in particular I was interested in. After several emails, James knew which car I was interested in and made a point to ask my needs and driving habits. It was about 4 days later that I could get to the dealership, and the initial car that I had been interested in was sold. Before I left, I had thankfully chosen a couple other potential cars. James told me that the Chevy Cobalt I was initially interested in was sold but he considered my needs and picked a few others that would meet my requirements. Funny enough, he had chosen the SAME TWO CARS that I had selected, showing me that he indeed had my interests in mind when choosing. We ended up leaving with a Hyundai, but both smiling because of the great service. I will recommend others to Jack Maxton. Thanks!

Bought a car here 6 months ago for 14000. The engine failed and the gap insurance i paid for refuses to pay for it because its kias problem for poor engine build. They had 2 inspectors that both said they should cover the cars engine since it wasnt due to neglect. Now i know why the sales guy was so eager to sell me the car. DO NOT TRUST!! Also not to mention!! The finance comapny they team up with is the WORST i have every came across. They are rude, unprofessional and jipped me out of 300 dollars. Thats another story. But I regret buying a car here. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

First time buying a car at a dealership and I couldnt be more pleased with the sevice. My used car has has a few problems with it but Kyle and Brandon have been wonderful in getting it fixed and back to me within days! They are good people and Friars Auto has been amazing at getting me back on the road as fast and safely as possible which is really important to a single mom. Love Jack Maxton and wont be going anywhere else anytime soon!

Pressured into a car I didnt really want, but thats sales right? Going over service contracts, salesman tells me "Looks like this car still has full warranty coverage, so you dont need to worry about these." Then he adds a service contract and "GAP coverage" to the purchase agreement without saying a word about it. My fault, though. Should have looked it over more closely, thats a $3000 lesson learned.

Sales person was very friendly. Fair warning, finance department is pretty in flexable. Also be very weary when you go to sign paperwork. Double check that rates they quote you are the same on paper. Dont just assume what they quote you is correct as I did. So carefully check everything before dealing with these people. Not thrilled with this dealship and cant say I would recommend them to anyone.
