GET A RECEIPT! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! Check engine light came on, went to Auto Zone; 2 codes (gas pedal sensor or full body throttle) I went to City Auto Sales because Auto Zone referred me to them. The mechanic Rony said I needed a full body throttle. It would be $350. He told me hed put a new full body throttle in my car & itd be 1 hr. I asked the manager, Eddie, about the part that was being installed because it had been over an hour and Eddie told me that it was because he had to leave and personally go pick up the brand new part from the dealership himself. 3.5 hours later Im told my vehicle is done. I was charged $350 and I signed a charge receipt. I was never given a receipt with details of the repairs or an itemized receipt, but I had been there for almost 4 hours with a baby and I was tired and ready to go. I would just come back the next day to get a receipt. So I left and everything was fine until that night. I exited the highway and boom, problem popped up again and so did the check engine light. Took it to Midas on W. Maple Rd in Troy the next morning. It came back with 1 service code....Full Body Throttle. The reason my car was running fine for a little while was because they had reset my sensor, BUT they didnt fix the issue. 2 hours later my car was FIXED by the mechanics at Midas. I went to get my money back. Eddie argued with me about it and REFUSED to give me a receipt or show me proof that a new part was purchased from the dealership. I asked what dealership it came from and he wouldnt tell me that at first. When he finally did, he told me not to bother asking them for a receipt because they wouldnt give one to me. Then, Rony said HE went & bought the part and didnt have a receipt for it. But before, Eddie told me HE was the one that went and personally bought the part. Eddie became frustrated and starting cussing and screaming at me (mind you, my baby is sitting right here with me, scared). After 45 minutes he finally gave in & gave me the receipt. It was for a $60 gas pedal. I was charged $350 for a full body throttle. I asked why he said I got a Full Body Throttle when I never did. He said he never told me that, Rony did. But thats a lie, because I had him AND Rony on tape saying I got a full body throttle. He tried to tell me the other $290 was for labor. I threatened to take legal action & demanded my money back at that point. I was issued a refund after revealing Id recorded the entire conversation and would sue if I had to. The gas pedal was removed and my old gas pedal was put back, took it back to Midas to have the vehicle checked and the pedal was fine. Never needed to be replaced. Ive been driving it for a week now. Id give them 0 or negative stars if I could. Avoid this place at all cost.

Giving one star only because I didnt have the option for zero. Where to start. Saw the car in an add - looked great. Went to see it and drive it - it seemed to drive great. Got reassurances from Billy that it was a "great car - Id put my own kids in it". Showed us the Car Fax which made us feel more comfortable buying it. If its too good to be true, trust your gut instinct. 2 days after buying the car, the check engine light comes on. Took it to my mechanic for an oil change and to have him look it over. The call I got sent chills down my spine. The frame was rusted to the point he was telling me not to let my daughter drive it, it was too dangerous. The list of problems is too long to list here; everything from extreme frame rot to faulty repair to the brake lines, cut emergency brake cable, etc, etc, etc. When I called Billy, all I got was a "too bad" and "do you understand what as is means?" When I asked him if all the cars on their lot are just like this one he said yes. He got so belligerent on the phone I finally just hung up on him. Way to screw over a college kid looking for a decent car to safely get to work and school. When all is said and done, avoid this place like the plague.

The staff is very nice. They have a huge selection of cars. Down side not sure if the mechanics know what theyre doing. My mother has gotten two cars from this place. Within weeks of having both vehicles something has went wrong and had to take them back for repairs. They take forever to fix said problems. But they offer free and unlimited fixes for the first year. They offer great financing which is why my mother went to this place.

Im so upset with the car I purchased from them. I bought the car about 1.5 years ago, and the second day I got it home the check engine light came on. Ive had to put over $3,500 into this car just to keep it safe. The second car wash I took it through "washed" off my paint exposing rust on both sides of my car! I dont think they even deserve one star. Dont trust these people!

Prices online are cash only. The person selling me the car was secretive of the new price since I wasnt paying cash ( $5000 more then ). Advice - read everything before signing because the sales people are deceptive.
