I have not had positive experiences with Mag Powersports. Im all about supporting small local business so I gave them more than one opportunity. My first trip there I paid them to mount a rear tire on my Cruiser Motorcycle. I provided the bike, tire, and some "Ride-On" tire balancing and sealing gel. They were to install the tire with the Ride-On sealant. The next day Jeff calls and says the bike is ready to pick up. I asked him how everything went and if the Ride On was installed and he assured me it was. About a week after they installed my new tire I got a nail in my tire and it leaked down flat. I found that very strange because the Ride-On product is designed to stop leaks and I know for a fact that its quite effective. I took the bike to a different shop to have the flat repaired and it turned out that Mag Powersports didnt even install the Ride-On product like I paid them to and the manager Jeff told me they did. They used Dyna-Beads to balance the tire instead which I specifically told them I did not want. When I went back to Mag to speak with Jeff about this he found the $45 worth of Ride-On product I provided them just sitting on one of his techs work benches so he just handed it back to me. Since they didnt do what I paid them to do I had to pay another shop $75 to repair the flat *the Ride-On wouldve sealed it for free*. Jeff just apologized and said hed like another opportunity to take care of me in the future. I gave them that opportunity when I brought them a Honda Sabre cruiser to have the carbs rebuilt due to fuel leaking from overflow tube. I told Jeff I was selling the bike and needed it fixed so Jeff quoted $200 and told me if any additional work was needed he would call me first to discuss options. After several days I receive a call saying the bike was ready to pick up. When I got there they told me they also had to pull the tank off and flush it so it was going to be closer to $300. I told them that wasnt acceptable as Jeff told me they would call if additional work was needed. If I had been notified I wouldve declined the tank flush as I could easily do that myself. I spoke with Jeff and he agreed to honor the originally quoted price. Not too long after that the carbs started leaking again...exact issue I brought it in for in the first place. So I took it back and they redid the job at no charge. Jeff told me it was due to a small part they didnt replace the first time because according to him it isnt usually necessary. A few days after picking it up it again started leaking! When I took it back for the 3rd time Jeff and his mechanic sat there in the parking lot looking at the bike leaking fuel from the overflow tube and I kid you not Jeff told me "man I dont know what the problem is...I suggest you just hurry up and sell the bike so its someone elses problem"...needless to say I never went back again.

Took my machine to Mag Powersports for an alignment after I installed some new suspension parts. Was quoted between $40 and $80 for the work. They called later and said it was going to be $173.20. Had no choice but to pay them and take my machine home. Less than 100 miles later, there was excessive wear on my front tires so I took it back to them. My girlfriend picked my machine up as I had to work late that day, yet paid them another $173.20 to fix what they should have done right the first time. The alignment was still WAYY off. The spec for my machine says 1/8" total toe in. When I got it back the second time, there was over 1in of toe in. So I took it back up there, and Mag just wanted to argue about that fact that it was done correctly and I was wrong. In the end, I wasted all that money as was still stuck with a machine that needed an alignment. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM MAG POWERSPORTS.

Excellent service. First experience: called them asking for a part but they did not have it in stock. They knew another shop that had the part in stock and gave me their contact information so that I could get the part same-day. Cares for the customer rather than the money. 2nd Experience: Had to switch out a broken shifter but did not have the larger size allen wrench so I called and took it in to them. They switched out the shifter I had bought online and the old broken one for free. Needless to say I went and spent some money. They have great reviews from other riders I know (hence my business with them in the first place) and have not let me down thus far.

It is indeed a pleasure to do business with honest people. I had damaged my Nomad crossing a speed bump, or so I thought. After contacting the insurance company because there was oil dripping out of what I thought was a cracked crankcase, I talked with Jeff at Mag Powersports and he asked that I bring it in for an inspection of the damage. I brought it in and was notified by Jeff the following morning that i had evidently just loosened a plug on the crankcase and that he Believed they had resolved he problem. The next day I was back on my bike and loving life again. Thank you Jeff and all the honest people at Mag Powersports, my bike will know no others!

Mag powersports are awesome! I bought Athena parts through Mag. Athena sent the wrong parts even after we ordered the right part number. So Mag called Athena and talked for 45 minutes trying to get Athena to send the right part, but Athena wouldnt budge. So Mag paid for a new part out of pocket to make things right for me even though it was not Mags fault or problem! They did everything for me I ordered the parts and picked them up thats it. Mag took care of me when they did not have to.

I called before they even opened, Jeff promptly answered and explained different tires and all the benefits over the phone, he wasnt pushy at all, was very kind, gave me an awesome deal, had my tire changed faster than any other place I had been in the country. Thanks Jeff! Your service was very much appreciated today! Dont be fooled by bad reviews people give them a call and see for yourself!

Was previously a long time customer for this business, and have recommended many of my friends to this place. Unfortunately, after the way the staff recently treated my brother, I will not be returning. Customer service is very important considering the amount of money charged, and unfortunately the customer service no longer seems on par with the cost.

Been going to these guys for repair and maintenance on my Suzuki KingQuad. They treat me right and have fair prices. Not always the fastest because they are busy but they let me know that up front. Im moving 40 miles away and will still make the drive to use these guys.

Way over priced needed to get brake pads for my bike and they wanted $78.90. Found them for $10.60 no need for a 600% mark up. I know you need to make money to pay your employees but lets be real Id would of paid $30.00 for them but $78.00 is crazy.
