I am new to the area, and previously shopped only at Kroger, back in Richmond. I am super, super impressed with the Smithfield Farm Fresh. It is always very clean, the produce section is very nicely organized and fresh. The meat department is always well stocked with sale items, and they have a very strong reduced-price policy on close-dated product. Now, I ONLY shop at the Smithfield Farm Fresh. Great place to shop! In addition, they are conveniently located as well as supporters of NFC! I love that they have chosen to adopt this technology which allows for me to pay for my things with the tap of my phone.

Unfriendly staff for the most part. Some border on being rude. I shopped there for many years. For the last 1-2 years, the customer service is lost with the exception of a few long time employees.
