It was awful! Dropped of my pup for daycare and forgot to drop off her food, so returned to find the fire alarms going off. The building was evacuated and the animals left in the building in their cages! The staff was outside smoking and chatting without a care in the world! I demanded to go in and get my pup, to encounter the nasty smell of an electrical fire! Contacted corporate and was told that is policy! Staff evacuated, animals left to suffer consequences! No contingency plan for an emergency! Please boycott, not only this Petsmart but Petsmart every where! Typical corporation! Take your money and not be responsible for your furbabies. Melissa, at the Reston location, is the worst! She should not be in charge of care of our pets! She is the one who told me about corporate policy! Do not trust these people with your furbabies! Avoid and boycott

I boarded my dog here for 4 days. As soon as we got her home and took her out to use the restroom I noticed her stool was extremely loose and had blood in it. I figured maybe it was something that she had eaten that she shouldnt have and it would pass. This continued for a few days and I had to set an appointment with her vet to have her seen. I was told it was a bacterial infection and he asked me was she around other dogs recently. I told her we had her boarded at the petsmart in Bethesda Md just a few days before and she came home to us that way. He explained to me that it could be caused by unclean conditions including water and food bowls among other things. This is the 2nd incident we have had with this facility where our dog has returned sick. We will no longer use this place to board her and wouldnt recommend it to any one else.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We took our dog in to get groomed and his nails clipped and what we got was a wet dog for $50. They didnt clip his names or blow dry him because he was scared. We took him to a groomer because if he was going to be scared of someone for grooming him, we wanted it to not be us. He was soaking wet when we picked him up and didnt smell like he was shampooed. So we paid PetSmart $50 (because they wouldnt release him unless he was paid for) for a wet ungroomed dog. Theyre prices are too high too. Not going back to PetSmart again.

Took my dog for a bath. Poor job. After bath, hair was not dried nor brushed, dried tears were not removed and when asked groomer made up some excuse, later found out ears were not even cleaned, nails were not cut. When i went to pick up the dog, the dog was trembling in the arms of the groomer as if she was afraid of the groomer. All of this and I was charged $32! I have taken my dogs to other petsmarts in other cities. This was the worst experience. Never again to this place.

I go here because its more affordable than a lot of places for boarding. The PetsHotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The grooming is what you would expect for a chain retailer -- it depends on the person performing the service. The store is kind of dirty and somewhat dated on the inside. The parking garage underneath is pretty gross (which is probably not their fault). The prices are decent and the staff is nice.

The customer service here is beyond excellant. I always feel bad asking for help loading the giant bag of dog food into my car, but this time I had no choice. Not only could they not have been nicer, they offered to deliver it to me at home next time, as I live 2 blocks from the store! I cannot say enough good things about this place, truly.

Free parking in the same building; just make sure to get your parking ticket validated. Bring your pet with you so they can socialize with other pets. My dog loves petsmart even more than I do. She loves meeting new friends when we go.

I went to buy a cuttlebone for my parakeet. Unfortunately I found a broken piece. I asked the staff at counter, if they have other one. The one at the counter started arguing "thats how they come".

I take my dog for grooming there. The cut is good, but the staff is often overwhelmed by number of customers on weekends, and not very gentle with the dogs.
