The staff are excellent, but store prices are different than on-line sale prices unless you ask for the online price at he register. I forgot to do this and had already paid for everything and put everything in the very hot car, including the dog. When I looked at the receipt in the car I saw prices were not the sale prices and had to take everything and dog back into the store. On top of all that, the clerk had to look up the sale prices on his cell phone because he didnt have them available to him. This was all very ridiculous. Thanks for the sore back and frustrated hot dog, Petco.

I live closer to the Columbia location but they arent nearly as helpful or knowledgeable as the Ellicott City location. When I first got my puppy one of the associates walked around with us to help purchase the essentials. She gave helpful tips for the home and also let us know the resources available. Every time we go in there are smiles and plenty of people to help! AAA+ for this store!!!

Unfortunate day for a first visit to this store. First, I phoned to speak with an actual person and was on hold for 10 minutes. Finally, my call was answered, put on hold again, and promptly disconnected. I went anyway and found only one employee in the store, a cashier. He was a very nice guy but needed a manager for change. I waited 5 minutes for that.

Animal Care staff are very knowledgeable and have worked there for a long time. The animals sold are high quality and live a long time. Cats up for adoption are through a very reputable no-kill shelter. Selection on shelves are mostly of dog products but are high quality.

Very small selection. Went to buy stuff for my cat (new litter box, toys, etc.) and didnt get anything because they didnt have much to choose from. I also went to purchase crickets, and the only box they had were all dead. pretty displeased with this store.
