I bought two dumbo rats from this store on Wednesday. The next day one of them was sneezing constantly. It is now Friday and she has labored breathing, and goop on her eye. Besides the possibility of them selling me a sick rat, (which is not at all unlikely because of the poorly ventilated tank they were in.) the owner was very rude, and had me stand at the counter for about 15 minutes while she had small talk. Then, when getting my rats, she picked them up by their TAILS, which you are NEVER supposed to do to rats or mice because their tail can literally fall off if you do. She hit them against the sides of the tank a few times trying to get them out. She put them in two separate boxes marked, "LIVE INSECTS" which I thought was odd until I got home and opened them to see cricket dust and limbs in them. So she used old cricket shipping boxes to put my new pet rats in. Id like for the owner of a pet store to know a little about the animals shes selling, for example, knowing that you never lift a rat by its tail, or that they have very sensitive respiratory systems and should never breathe in dust. I guess thats just too much to ask. I only went to this store because I thought that itd be better than a big chain pet store, but I was sorely mistaken. The only positive thing I have to say is that Im glad I rescued my rats from those horrible conditions. *EDIT* I posted this same review on their Facebook page and they have since DISABLED reviews on their page! Do not buy from this pet store! They know theyve done wrong and are trying to hide it!

Place smelled horrible. Im also super wary of small pet stores that sell "pure" breed puppies because to me that screams puppy mill. The fish tanks were clean at least, but clear water and low algae doesnt mean good water quality and all of them had multiple dead fish in them. One tank that I think was supposed to be an angel tank had all dead angels in it and a few other tetras struggling to breathe denoting ammonia poisoning. One betta had really really bad fin rot and I was tempted to take him home just to let him die in peace in a warm 5 gallon rather then a tiny cup in his own waste, but I did not want to give money to this place. There was a parrot up from that looked like it had lost the will to live. I have been in this store twice and it had been locked up in its small cage both times. I dont think its ever let out because it "bites". I would bite too if I was kept in a jail cell my whole life. The hermit crab tank was also very lacking, even if it is just to hold them for resale. Thank god there were no herps here as far as I could tell. I would not recommend this place.

HEART BROKEN! I fell in love with a female Shih Tzu and we had to take her back due to medical reasons. They did no checkup on the puppy before they sold her to us, let alone when they put her on the market. We took her to the vet 2 days after purchase for her check up and she was diagnosed with stage 4 heart murmer, infections, and intensintal problems. She is not in any pain yet (only 3 months old, in store for 2.5 weeks). There is small chance of survival with surgery (if survival after surgery, only live up tp a year or less). We had to take her back to the store for the breeders to take her back to see if there is any chance. The sales woman had ABSOLUTLY NO sympathy for us or the puppy. She did not care what 2 veterinarians had to say. We were in tears when we told her and she did not show any compassion. I am heart broken. I fell so in love with this little girl. She is not just another sales item, she was a family member that we had to lose way to soon. Get your stuff together. NEVER going back. NEVER do business here.

Very disappointed with this pet shop. It is disgusting and none of the animals seem to be getting proper care or attention. But more importantly my mom works with a man with down syndrome and cannot speak and loves going in to see the puppies, the woman would not speak to us nor him and she had a puppy out for someone to look at and she let a little girl pet him and when he went over to pet him she said no and took him away. He just loves snuggling up to them and petting them. It was very rude and I am very disappointed and mad that someone would treat someone with a disability like that. What a way to run a business... NOT please dont ever go there. I wish those puppies could be taken care of properly.

Went there today to specifically make a purchase of a guinea pig. As soon as we walked in we noticed the smell of the place was horrible! There was a lady at the counter who did not acknowledge us at all as we walked in. We needed help many times but she was not available. I then walked up to her to ask for help when she put her finger up to say "wait". The phone then rang and she answered it never helping us at all, we quickly exited the store and will never go back. Went next door and bought the cage and supplies at Tractor Supply and went down the street to purchase the guinea pig from Petco.

8/19/17- bought four feeder mice for my snake and asked for a thicker box for the mice, they complained about being low on the thicker boxes so I let it be. Got in my vehicle and into another store for 5 minutes and had mice all over my car. Came home and put the four into a clean cage and not even 2 hours later three out of the four had died

staff is decently nice besides that not worth it, decided to stop in one day and take a look around. everything is way overpriced, asked if they had large crickets she said yes. The time i got them and took a look they looked like extra small. i would just go somewhere else honestly unless its your last resort.

Went in yesterday to look at puppies. The poor dogs were stuck in small cages that looked like they had not been cleaned in DAYS - feces on the floor that they had to keep stepping on if they wanted to walk around a bit. I would not get a dog there for fear of its health.

I love this cute pet shop! Great selection and decent prices... We got our chihuahua from here and he is a great dog- everyone loves him! Staff is super friendly and very helpful... I would definitely go back there again- maybe for a little girl chihuahua next time! :)

This pet shop is nasty I wouldnt buy a thing from them they dont tack care of aythang I got rat from this pet shop first time ever to feed my snakes and my snake died 3 day later cuz of mites and a diseases $500 lost and they did nothing about it pist me off
