This is the worst shopping experience I have experienced in my life!!!!! I went in to purchase potty training pads for my puppy I usually shop at Petsmart for my puppy but was in NW. Unleashed by Petco’s reviews reflected it would be a great place to stop by and purchase items for my Puppy. The store is very small compared to most pet stores, and the prices are unbelievably high!!!! The pads they had were double priced for example at Petsmart you can purchase a pack of 50 pads for under $16.00 in this specific store I purchased 30 pads for $21 and some change. The staff is much worse then the overpriced items in this store, I asked one of the sales representatives to speak with the store manager mainly to inform that their website states that prices are reasonable however they are not. When the rep returned he brought another sales rep and claimed that person was the manager. I asked the second sales rep, are you the manager? Surprisingly he answered no he and the previous sales rep and him are at the same level in the store. I did indeed inform the second rep that the prices are doubled priced and he advised me that they match prices. I then asked so and other words if I’m able to prove the price that I usually pay at Petsmart would they match the price? His answer was yes. I called Petsmart and asked the rep for the price check for the 50 pack of training pads and was advised they cost $15.99. The second store rep did indeed tell the 1st store rep that once I was able to confirmed the price to sell me the 50 pack for the match price. The unleashed by Petco 1st rep spoke with the rep in Petsmart and confirmed they cost a 50 pack cost $15.99 the rep then proceeded to the back of the store and came out and told me that their cash register will not allow them to total up the pads for $15.99 as it was too low of a price. I the said the other rep said that you all matched prices and the 1st sales rep told me, ‘’ How am I to know I was really talking to a Petsmart rep you could have called anyone. At that point I said where here is the number please feel free to call Petsmart and verify the price again. The 1st sales rep again proceeded to the Back of the store and 5 minutes later he came out and said that he called and was advised that Petsmart 50 pack of training pads cost $29.99. I am positive that I he did not call Petsmart as they has just told him and I that they cost $15.99 and when I asked for the name of the person he spoke with at Petsmart he replied “some girl” I didn’t get her name. Anyone who has called a Petsmart can vouch that the reps always tell you there names when you call. I then asked for contact information for the corporate office as I felt that I was mislead and much time had been wasted and most importantly that corporate should know the things they are putting customers through. The 1st rep then wrote down a number that never was for corporate (of course) and wrote down both his and the second representatives first names, he was at this point highly upset and told me ‘’I’m not worried about you calling to place a complaint and that if you don’t like the prices then don’t buy’’ Worse experience ever! If you are able please proceed to the nearest Petsmart where the prices are reasonable, the people are friendly and most importantly you receive great customer service.

I dont typically review places, but because of my exceptional experience at this store, I thought it would be worth doing. I have been taking my puppy to training classes here and have had an amazing experience. They are very accommodating of my schedule, I have had to miss one or two and they happily let me reschedule. But what has truly mad this great is the trainer, Sammy. She is very good and with only three classes has taught my dog sit, down, paw, stay, leave it and heel. She is very talented and very friendly. I strongly reccomend taking classes with Sammy if you are looking for dog training classes

The staff here loves animals. They are very friendly and always willing to help you find something or take things out to your car if you need it. They even remember things about your pets. The selection is very high end. If you want basic puppy chow you need to go upstairs to Safeway but between the two stores, you can usually find what you need. Plus parking is free in the garage!
