Ive never written a review before, but after going to my local PetSmart, I feel compelled to do so. I walked around the store for ten minutes and passed many employees and not one person ever offered to assist me. Later, I was waiting for an employee to conclude her conversation with another customer, as soon as she did, as I was opening my mouth to say excuse me, another customer approached her from behind me and asked for help. Without batting an eye or acknowledging my presence the employee walked away. Now that may sound picky to some, and clearly the other customer was rude, but an employee who understands good customer service would/should have said, "Im sorry, but this customer was waiting for me". Finally, after gathering the products that hopefully are the correct ones, I got in a line, (2 registers open but only one with a cashier) as soon as I unloaded my basket the other cashier appeared an took the customer behind me. My cashier simply asked if I had a Pet Perks card and rang me up. No pleasantries, no asking if I found everything, and did not say thank you to me. All in all I am quite disappointed as I have shopped there before and never experienced such negativity. Next time, I will definitely go to TSC, as I have discovered they carry much of the same products and comparable prices.

My experience using PetSmart grooming services was FANTASTIC!! I looked around for a while trying to find a nearby groomer with no luck, someone told me PetSmart had grooming services so I called to get my 7 month old Goldendoodle puppy an appointment. I was able to get a convenient appointment time only a few days away. They told me to bring his rabies certificate with me, but I forgot. No worries, I ran home and came back and they held a spot for me. The stylist we worked with was Brooke, she was AMAZING. So friendly, courteous, and loving with our puppy. When we came back to pick him up he looked really good, and was very relaxed. Brooke gave me a written report of the services she provided and had taped a lock of his hair for me onto the report since this was his first hair cut. So adorable! I will definitely be back again.

Previous review claimed that their price went up and the quality went down, yet I have never experienced this. I have been getting my sheltie groomed there for years and never left unhappy. He has a problem area near his tail inflicted with a type of dermatitis common among shelties. The groomers have always paid special attention to these areas without extra cost even using special shampoo to help. Only once did they shape his tail differently than normal which since then has grown out. This is my only reasoning for not giving them 5 out of 5. I love how they treat my dog as if it theirs, fawning over him with the attention he would normally get at home. He is an anxious dog when left so their attentive and caring manner allows me to leave without worry. I would recommend them!

I really like Petsmart. I know some people prefer a small pet store that carries more organic products but Petsmart does carry healthy brands and they are usually cheaper than most independent pet stores. My two dogs get groomed here regularly and Ive never had any issues. The only thing that is sometimes disappointing is that I get a groomer who does a good job and I like but they leaves to go somewhere else. It seems Petsmart might be a start or stepping stone for a groomer but if they are good, they eventually move on to a place with better hours or where they can make more money.

Good for shopping but why get your pet groomed here? Keep your town going and support local grooming shops. Theyre more personable and most wont have employees in and out like Petsmart. Just because you like a groomer there doesnt mean they will always be employed there. Their prices are outrageous and your pet isnt special here. They wont be affected if you take your business elsewhere. Plus I know several pot heads working in the grooming department and I wouldnt want them messing with my pets.

I Purchased two hamsters four weeks ago, and they ended up being male and female. The store is only supposed to sell females. My female is now very pregnant. I called the store and they were very understanding about the situation. They gave me a discount on a cage for my male hamster because he has to be separated from the female. Very friendly and understanding staff!

Attentive and friendly staff. The location is also very well stocked, and the animals they have available appear well cared for. Overall a very nice place to shop for your pet needs, but it can get crowded at times. The parking situation is sort of irritating, but this is not the stores fault. Just keep in mind the aisles of parking spots are one-way.

This store is getting better now that I do not feel hounded every time I walk in. 7 people asking me if I need help. Companies and/or Managers need not train their people to try help or engage with everyone. Eye contact and body language tell you whether or not someone likely wants to talk to you or needs help.

The customer service reps here are great and the prices for the training classes are great and reasonable. The prices for items arent bad either. The turnaround for online orders seems to be pretty good. Get the Puppy Pack if you have a puppy (great coupons). I love this place!
