Before I get into my review I want to state that our first meeting at West Herr we sat down with Hank Love and he was great. It is unfortunate that he happened to be off for our next scheduled appointment date. If he was working our day may have gone much differently as he seemed like a sales man that wanted to make sure the customer was properly taken care of! I first contacted West Herr over the internet expressing interest in a used 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, silver in color. I had signed up for the preferred program, being elligible as an employee of one of the qualifying local companies. I was immediately contacted by phone by a customer service conceirge, Jerry, who stated he would actually move this vehicle to a West Herr location more convenient to where I live and work. I thought WOW! that is great. We confirmed the vehicle I was interested in. He said he would confirm that he could get it to either the Transit Road Williamsville Used Car location or West Herr Ford on Millersport and then get back to me. All I got was an email confirming my appointment at the Used Car Outlet in Williamsville, so I assumed I was all set. When we get there, no one at the location had any idea what was going on or that I was being sent there to see a vehicle from the Orchard Park dealership. After doing much investigation, they concluded that Jerry had made arrangements for the wrong vehicle to be there for me to look at. They kept trying to sell me on test driving that vehicle. I communicated multiple times that I already knew I didnt want that one, so it would be a waste of time driving it. We set up an appointment for 2 days later, and they ensured the vehicle I was interested in would be available at that location. We returned for our appointment, excited to see the vehicle of interest. Before showing up for the appointment, my mind was already set. I wanted this vehicle and as long as we could agree on a fair price I was going to agree to buy it that day. They had us meeting with Joe B. We took it for a test drive and all was good with the vehicle. We then met with Joe to talk numbers and it became clear that little was going to be done on their end to try to work with us. I had even brough information on a comparable vehicle at a competing dealership (same year, make, model, color, package, mileage, etc) that was currently for sale for $2000+ less than their asking price, and explained if they were willing to match that price I would rather give them the business as part of the preferred customer program. Joe spoke with his boss and came back to us and said that they would be willing to "maybe knock a few hundred" off the price, but not match the competitor. I said that is weird, I thought i qualify for $500 off sticker price just by being in the preferred customer program? Joe said "what is that" and explained he had no idea what i was talking about. he then said he had only worked at west herr for 30 days and that he used to sell food to restaurants so he wasnt yet sure what he was doing. overall terrible experience and west herr lost a customer due to poor communication between their staff, poor sales man experience.. I am buying a car which is a big purchase ... I want to give my money to a salesman or dealership that WANTS to sell me a car. Not to one that seems like I am of no importance. I will be communicating my experience to my co-workers. West Herrs preferred program is nothing of what the claim it to be. The next day I went and purchased a 2015 jeep at Mullane Motors in Lockport, NY and could not be happier with the service I was given there.

Many, Many, Many Kudos to the team at West Herr Used Car Outlet! Our experience started on Thursday evening 2/2/2012 when we were on our way to another dealership to look at what my daughter thought was her “dream car” that we saw online. We just decided to drive through the West Herr lot and Junius Griffin came over to our car. He was very professional and NOT at all pushy. He encouraged us to check out the cars at the Eastern Hills Mall car show. Ironically, in the entire mall we ran into Junius again and he was amazingly helpful. Wow, did he know cars. We looked at a zillion and he knew all the features and selling points for each model. When he determined that gas mileage was key, he recommended we check out the Prius. The car wasnt at the mall but he had it delivered to the mall for us to test drive. My daughter Julie, loved the car, but felt that the tan was "old lady-ish”. Junius then searched the data base and found a blue Prius in Hamburg and we then met Patty Vedella, GM and she was sensational! She explained the differences in the two cars and was very patient with all of our questions, she even hooked us up with a salesman, (that I am sorry I dont remember his name) who had a Prius and talked to us about the car. The blue car won out with my daughter and as the mall was closing, somehow Patty/Junius made arrangements for the car to be at their showroom at 10am the next morning. Loved the car, but it needed some body work and Patty was very helpful about having it fixed. Fast Forward, we purchased the car with the body work done on 2/9/2112, with an extended warranty that Ray helped us understand. Patty used the phrase, "If it was my nieces car" and that truly described how we were treated, as family!!! Junius presented the car with a big red bow to Julie and I believe that everyone we met (including the nice young guy who helped put the license plates on the car) was sending positive thoughts to Julie on passing her road test the very next day! Junius called to see how she did and since she "needed" cheering up as things didnt go well, he asked what would brighten her mood. I told him, something "sweet". Saturday evening Junius personally delivered a gift bag of Fowlers Chocolates to her home in Lockport! On Face book, after my thank you for his kind gift to Julie, Junius wrote, "I count it an honor to have met such wonderful people. That is the least I could do to mend a broken heart. Just to let you know, when you bought the car you bought the salesman as well for the life of the car. So if there is anything you need, feel free to contact me." Patty also called to thank us and remind us that if we need anything to please feel free to call her. Sensational Service, GREAT people and there is no doubt where we will buy our next cars!!!
Let me start by saying convenient location clean and great car selection, Ok When they say guaranteed approval they mean it i was taken advantage of by a buy here pay here in the past and i have to say it left me pretty sceptical of car dealers but this location changed my mind completely I purchased a used vehicle from this location yesterday they were very welcoming like family i had to bring my kids and they had a play area and joe offered myself and my children fresh cookies popcorn hot beverages and cold the staff was warm i felt so comfortable there. So about my vehicle let me start by saying I LOVE MY CAR when i initially called i reached Joseph Bumbalo he was quite the gentleman when i met him he had a warm demener but firm hand shake i knew he meant business he listened to me and despite my credit issues he promised to do his best and that is just what he did i had the option of choosing a vehicle in my price range the one i chose i actually changed my mind about a couple days later and he was very professional and just gave me different options i was obviously overwhelmed and confused so with alittle back round info joe was able to narrow down a vehicle that fit me very well as soon as it was available i was contacted and test drove it it was awesome the process flew from there he did everything he promised he answered every question responded to every voicemail and kept his word they gave me an awesome trade in offer for my old vehicle gave me a low monthly payment wich includes a 2 year warranty with a low deductible they delivered my vehicle in top condition i am so grateful these people bent over backwards for me and i ended up with a beautiful reliable vehicle I LOVE WEST HERR best decision Ive made in a long time if your considering a new or used vehicle go to west herr trust me you wont regret it
