This crazy-great Mexican market with a restaurant hidden inside is a little-known Bradenton gem! I have been searching for an authentic Mexican taco and food joint for years and have finally found one, thanks to all my fellow Yelp reviewers taking the time to share their wisdom. :) You wont find better food for as great a value anywhere ... particularly if you are looking to feed a crowd. You can get 25 LEGIT Mexican tacos (carne asada, carnitas, chicken, pork, chorizo) on fresh, house-made corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, lime and killer hot sauce for just $29.99! Or, choose 3 lbs of meat + 2 lbs fresh tortillas for about the same price! Add a huge bag of chips, a ginormous guacamole and salsa, some side orders of rice and beans .... And I promise you can feed 10-12 people for <$50 out the door! You can call ahead to the sweet English- and Spanish-speaking staff to avoid the always-long line and cut your wait. INSTANT PARTY!!!!!!! :) Even better than the price is the quality of the food. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful ... They will transport you instantly south of the border in one bite! While I am featuring the tacos, be sure to venture out into the other dishes after your first visit. Any of them (shrimp and rice, fajitas, taquitos, chimichangas, enchiladas) are first-rate and large enough to be shared between at least 2 hungry people! There is very basic cafeteria-style seating available, but this place is usually hopping, so be prepared that it may be full. I usually choose carryout for this reason. Ask for a menu at the front of the market to take home with you to make call-ahead easier! The last thing that bears mentioning is how hard-working, professional and courteous the staff members are. It can be intimidating for non-Mexicans to venture into an authentic joint like this one, but they are so warm, helpful and friendly to all who enter that you feel instantly welcome! Truly terrific place that earned every one of the 5 stars I gave it! :)

The bakery shop at the north end of the building produces incredibly good pastries, at very reasonable prices. The grocery "mercado" butcher shop makes the best chorizo sausage, and their selection of beef, mutton, and pork is wonderful. The butcher shop and very fresh vegetable prices are half of what the Wynn Dixie, Walmart, and Publix stores charge. You can tell that the vegetables arent slathered in pesticides because they dont keep forever, as do the vegetables from the other stores which dont get their produce from local farmers. Because of the great amount of otherwise hard to find items, Im now able to make my own tortillas, tamales, and arepas. Do yourself a favor and shop there, and also have one of their lunch specials, or huevos rancheros for breakfast!

Pues ofertan productos latinos muy bien elaborados, los chicos de la carniceria super cheveres y responden a las peticiones de clientes un tanto exigentes como yo,en el restaurante la señorita sabrina muy servicial.

I shop for meat here because of their loooow prices. This store has a Spanish and Caribbean theme to it, also has a sit down or takeout restaurant that has a mixture of some great Spanish and Caribbean dishes. I love to shop here its a little small but it works for me. Sometime in the beginning of next year they will be opening a new store on 14th. St W. and 57th Ave. W. across from Honda cars of Bradenton, cant Wait!!!!!.

Food is GREAT but its inside a store and can get very crowded and busy and can be hard to find a seat if you have a big group. Very cheap and they give you A LOT of authentic Mexican food, NOT TEX-MEX. They give you a side of about 10 soft tacos with a meal and a HUGE cup for a drink (horchata is the bomb). The bakery next door is also inexpensive and great.

This place reminds me every bit of Sonora Mexico. The moment you walk into the door you smell such wonderful food. The service is always friendly and as fast as one can expect considering the size of the crowds. I dont know any other place where I can get three tacos made with real beef for $5!

Love this place! The best authentic mexican food around!!! An order of fajitas is enough for three people!!! Weekends are super busy, so if you dont want to wait long go on a weekday, but definately go. Tacos mexicanos are delicious, and you have to have their quacamole!!!!!

The food is delicious and authentic. You asked for Mexican food a Hispanic is cooking it not a person that doesnt know how its supposed to taste. The customer service is okay but 99% off the time the food is hot and ready most of all delicious.

If you want some food and want it now I wouldnt recommend you here the line is long, sometimes they forget about you, so if you dont want to wait I would direct you to Subway. Plus I find this place to be a bit expensive on the product.

The food is amazing. Only negative thing I can say is they mess up our food orders almost every time but the food is fantastic. The prices of the meat and produce is very reasonable. The food keeps me coming back.

We love coming here for Mexican food and meat! Theyre all very nice and quick to get our food done. It is a little crowded most of time, but they made another one so that way business is distributed between them.

Theres a reason youll often find lines out the door. Not only a grocery store, but the best prepared Latin food as well. The traditional tacos are fantastic. The food is well prepared, and reasonably priced.
