Note* This is not every publix I have been to. This one in particular definitely. Main part of my dislike is the deli and meat department (main reason I go) The deli takes FOREVER! I just got home from there and it took me 20 mins to get 1lb of cheese and 1lb of salami and its ALWAYS like that. So then everyone in line is pissy, defensive, tries to jump in front of you in line and if you have to get more than 1 or 2 things your like the hated person in line. The sanwhich part of the deli is awful another things that takes FOREVER! The employees never know which person to take care of first. I would hate to have that job because I imagine a bunch of pissed off people that have run out of patience staring/glaring @ them all day. You never know if your going to get fresh bread or bread so hard it will cut the roof of your mouth or crumble into pieces making you look like an idiot while your trying to eat it and after because you have stuff all over you. The way they pre slice their meat is to save time, I get it but I always end up with a sandwich with the last 1.5 inches being nothing but bread because the meat isnt spread out to the ends, so thats irritating. They charge a heck of a lot more then Subway so their game needs to for real step up. Now to the meat department.... My father was a butcher all my life and while Im not expecting a publix meat department employee to hold the same standards or pride in their work as my father I do expect to be greeted with a *hello* and not have to stand their feeling awkward while I see you looking at me and not asking me if I need any help or have to ask you to come out and help me. Like what else would I be doing standing in front of that window besides needing help? Anytime Ive gone in needing something they were out of an ask for it its like a bother to them. And when I do it it looks aweful and rushed so half the time I spend all that time waiting and end up putting back and going somewhere else. Just an example Ive waited out front for 10 mins once and when someone finally came out I had asked for 2 filet mingons to be cut because they were out. Gave them the thickness measurement and said little marbling.... Wait another 10 mins an get 2 completely different size, shape, tons of marbling and even color pieces of steak. I put it back and walked out.

Publix is normally so on top of things - but this is the worst Publix. It seems to be the trainer store where employees are trained and the moment they are competent, they go to another store. Everywhere you go in this store, things are just more sloppy than the average grocery store. Want organic creamer? It expires in four days. Want bananas? You dont get bananas until they are dark yellow with maybe a few brown spots. Want Tropicana orange juice? The factory is here in Bradenton, but it somehow takes a month to get it to store shelves. Since every other grocery store is another 10 minutes further away from me (except Walmart), I feel stuck with this store and I just wish they would improve. It would be nice if their average employee turnover didnt seem like 1 month. It would also be nice if they didnt look at me like Im some kind of alien from outer space when I request they stock such outlandish items like Sriracha sauce - which they do stock now. I feel like a chump every time I shop there ~ and maybe I just need to start driving another 10 minutes to go to another Publix or Target.

Love this store! Theres always friendly staff on just about every other aisle who take the time to greet the customers and offer assistance. Cashiers are also warm and friendly. I shop this store weekly and I have never had anything but superb customer service. Whether I was ordering a birthday cake from the bakery or fresh salmon from the seafood dept. They even offer you great ideas and tips for ways of preparing your favorite dish with a twist. Hats off to this store!

I shop here weekly. Clean store. I really like the wide isles. Helpful staff. Good selection on most items. Excellent deli. Giving only 4 stars because they recently cut back their selection of turkey bacon, and - often - I find their ground chuck to be saturated with added water. Really, its not a big deal... Wish they had a liquor store!

THIS IS MY PUBLIX. I have been going to this store since it opened. The stockers and checkers have always been friendly and helpful. If I spot something they have missed they are always quick to take care of it. It is almost always clean, has great produce and now with digital coupons they offer me more ways to save.

I called the store to help me get the general layout. We went over every aisle and items in them. She also went over the entire milk section, letting me know the order of every thing. Thank you Stephanie Patete! You saved me from a lot of misery and anguish.

Dont order a cake from them!! If they discontinue the cake you wont find out until that morning!! and then they will not answer their phone so that you can talk about it. Then if you complain they try to blame you. By far the worst customer service ever!!!

I have never written a review for anything before, and I love publix a lot, but this publix has the worst service I have ever experienced. The staff was rude and very unhelpful. Dont go here

Very pleasurable, we bought an item that was one price but the register rang up another price, went to customer service and they refunded our entire refund on the item. I love Publix.

Love the sandwiches, great deals, but not always the lowest prices. I love their digital coupon system! Saves the pain of cutting coupons and having to remember to bring them.

Never have issues at this store. Staff are always helpful and I usually try to make it a preference to come here versus the Walmart down the road.
