Several months ago my husband and I bought a 2004 jaguar xj8 from this midwest car search. For the most part our buying experience was a very good one. That was until we got to the end to do the loan. I will just say buyer beware. Online not only on their site but on multiple other sites, they had our car listed as being certifiedand it says on their online site that all of their Certified cars come with warranties up to a certain amount of time. As we found later thst was not honed as a as is really does mean as is. We had also told them when we decided to buy the car that we would buy the car if they fixed certain issues that we had with the car. They agreed. Our steering wheel had made a weird squealing noise when we turn it back and forth. The trunk latch did not work properly which also affected whether our doors unlock and lock. There were a few other issues that were not that big of a deal. However I will say if they make any verbal promises to you make sure you make them write it down underneath the as is warranty portion of your contract, because they do not honor verbal warranties they did fix our locks and they did fix the door Jam issue for our trunk but only because it was written down, Our car still has an issue with squeeling steering wheel which they say is seals, still was not right to not fix what they said they would because it will cost them ect, However the biggest complaint that I have is the day that we took that car home we had an issue with the light turning on that said air suspension failure. After having to take the car to numerous shops as its a jag and not just anyone services jags to get proper diagnosis our final outcome was about $1,800 to speak to fix a failing air compressor. So I will just say make sure you get anything in writing that they promise you verbally and make sure that you really do take the car prior to buying it and have it examined by another shop looked over because unfortunately people cant be trusted. Oh and make sure you check your vehical over well, we didnt play with the jaguars sun roof and upon getting home found the shade had been badly damaged by water, which would have been easily seen if it was not fully pulled back and we had spent additional time with the car. Just make sure you do your work!!! And go by the book.

Shopping for a vehicle can be stressful, frustrating, and quite draining. Many salesmen have only dollar signs in mind before they even let you sit in a car to test drive. This is not the case if you go to Midwest Car Search. From the second you walk in, you will notice the friendly, positive energy that flows from the owner, Scott, and all of his employees. Lisa will greet you with a beautiful, reassuring smile, and the waiting area is not only exceptionally clean, but there is an entire board filled with thank you cards from grateful customers. You will be treated with the utmost respect. They will talk with you, listen to what your needs are, and be honest with you up front. No sales pitches. People helping people, no matter what the situation is that one may be facing. I had two knee replacements a little over a year ago that affected me not only physically, but financially. I was embarrassed to open up to Scott about it, but there was no judgement. Instead, there was compassion, understanding, and a workable solution. Scott and Ken worked with me, and I drove out of there as a proud owner of an awesome SUV, the vehicle of my dreams. My daughter has also recently purchased a car here, and was amazed at how easy the entire process was compared to other dealerships we visited. I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent vehicle to visit Scott. He is a man with integrity, who seems to truly live by the "pay it forward" principle. It shows on his countenance, by the way he treats his employees, and his customers. I for one, am a very happy customer and would never even consider going anywhere else. Thank you Jesh - who happens to be one of the best mechanics in the business - for recommending this amazing place to my daughter and I. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we made new friends.

When I showed up at Midwest Car Search last Wednesday, I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that day. Whats more, when I looked around their lot, I didnt think Id be able to afford cars as nice as they had. However after meeting with the owner (who I think was named Scott? Sorry, Im terrible with names) I was feeling pretty confident that Id be able to find something, he showed me that they always made sure that they had the best prices around (which matched up with the research I had done before). And helped me find the best vehicle for me, both by walking me through vehicle details, and then by just letting me make my decision on my own. I never felt overly pressured. After looking at the vehicles, I not only found one that worked for me, but Scott and Ken Seebeck helped me get set up with financing that I can easily afford, and Ken walked me through all of the paperwork, making sure that I understood every document before signing. My wife has bought 2 cars here previously, and Ill definitely be coming here first every time I need a car in the future.

Wow I just bought a Dodge Neon from them last Saturday and already I need repairs on the vehicle. All they keep saying is their car repair service is cheapest in town. WELL if you sell good cars you wouldnt need the cheapest car repair service. What a crock. These people all they want is for you to buy a car from them and they really dont car if they give you a great car or NOT. Never will I EVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE LOSERS AGAIN! What a JOKE!! What a bunch of lame people who work there. They dont tell you anything about who financed your loan or what it cost a month or nothing! We had to ask all these questions and then after we come back from getting the money then, they tell us that if we want a warranty then it will be an additional charge like really.... why wouldnt you say that before we left to get the money and lay everything out for us! BUNCH OF FRAUDULENT PEOPLE!

I purchased my new to me 2002 Mercury sable from them., and have been very happy with my purchase. The salesman Brandon was very open to helping me find exactly what I was looking for and had me drive several cars/vans/suvs before making my decision. Scott who did the financing was more than accommodating and was very open about how it all works. He answered all my questions and gave great info. I have been back for Oil changes and to have my car serviced and they were very easy to work with. Over all if you want an experience unlike most car dealerships in the area, Midwest has easy going, helpful people and they do not judge or try and make you do anything you dont want to. They are not the least bit pushy. I have recommended to friends and family and would suggest that anyone looking for a car starts there.
