Customer service and products are decent, but beware of delivery and install service! My landlord purchased a new washing machine for my apartment; as part of the package she paid to have my old machine removed and the new one installed. On the delivery day I found out the washer was too wide to remove from the laundry closet. So the new washer was not installed. Before leaving, the technician tried several times to convince me to sign off on the removal/delivery/install, which was odd since none of these were successful. I hired handyman to remove the doorframe to the laundry closet, and he also pulled out the washer but left the hot/cold water hosing attached for the technician to remove. PC Richards customer service was helpful and was able to reschedule the delivery quickly. On the second delivery day, the technician arrived and looked at the washer, then told me I’d have to hire a PC Richards plumber to come out and disconnect the washer hoses because they looked “old”. I didn’t understand what that meant, but noticed the hoses were threaded and would require pliers to loosen, but the technician only tried to loosen them by hand. I suggested that he use pliers, but he refused and said he was "afraid" to try this. At this point the technician had been at my apartment for less than 10 minutes, but he said he had to get to more appointments today and claimed he didn’t have any more time to spend removing my old washer or installing the new one. (this was very confusing to me, because if he did the job he was hired to do, he would have spent more than 10 minutes taking out the old washer, disconnecting the hoses, and putting in the new washer) Despite allegedly being in a rush, the technician still had time to take a picture of the hoses to prove they looked “old” and send it to customer service – I assume to get permission to leave. Customer service told him to stay and gave the same suggestion that I try to disconnect the hoses myself. I was able to easily remove the hoses, they were old, but not on too tight or so badly rusted it would cause damage to the water valves. After getting the new washer in the laundry closet, the technician claimed he couldnt stay any longer (hed been there 30 min tops). I’m no expert in installing washers, but I thought he should have at least stayed to level the machine or check to make sure the spin cycle wasn’t off balance. The technician refused my suggestion and said I’d have to call PC Richard back to send another technician to do this. Overall, Im happy with the machine, but the delivery and install packages should come with a disclaimer: Buyer beware – the installation service only involves delivery of your appliance, the technicians wont lift a finger to do any installing, and they wont even test the appliance to see if it’s installed correctly!

Exceptional service and expertise. PC Richard is my go-to for any TVs or appliances. I have been a customer for over 8 years and dont think twice about going back if I need anything. Theres a reason PC Richard is still open while most other competitors closed their doors. Their staff is properly trained and has a ton of experience that they know their products by heart. Add to that excellent inter-personal skills and great customer service and its clear why PC Richards is the best. Its also great that their prices are very good compared to online stores plus you can always talk to a real person of if you have issues. Hani the manager always takes care of me and is an asset to PC Richard. The staff here is some of the most pleasant and dedicated Ive seen in retail. Keep it up!

The staff is nothing, but helpful and friendly. They become your friend and try to get to know to make your shopping experience perfect. Not only are the staff involved in making your shopping experience better, the manager Andrew will also take the time out of his busy day to provide the best support one can possibly get. I will always be returning to purchase anything needed for not only because PC Richard has the best prices, but for also the warm welcome and support the staff brings out. The staff at the Jersey City location is professional, pleasant, and demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise in all their products and services offered. The assistant manager Hani is primarily the main reason why I continue to shop at this location. Hani always provides excellent customer service and goes above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns. He has even called me days later after a purchase to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I will continue to be a loyal P.C. My experiences with PC Richards in jersey city have always been wonderful! A few weeks ago I went to the store because it was time to purchase a new washer and dryer and mattress! I was helped by Michael . who further assisted me and demonstrated a new technology for the laundry room, PureWash Pro which I purchased and I am glad I did! I was very pleased with their delivery, installation and the care that was given with removal of my old machines and my home. The customer service at this store is excellent! The sales team made it very easy for me to process my rebates and register my new appliances. The prices are great and customer service is awesome! Thanks Michael

Pc Richards is the only place I shop for appliances. I am a builder and constantly need appliance packages. Ive looked all over for the best prices and PC Richards always has them. So I do not shop around anymore. They have fantastic customer service and short delivery windows. Delivery Drivers always call ahead to let you know they are a half hour away. The manager at the Jersey City branch, Hany Khella, is a pleasure to deal with. He is knowledgable of the products and knows exactly my business needs. Its like having an appliance concierge. I appreciate his professionalism and would highly recommend this branch for outstanding service.
