I would stand clear of using their Kitchen Cabinet Services. The process so far has been extremely poor and continues to get worse. My wife and I have been shopping kitchen cabinets. We paid for and scheduled for measurements of our kitchen to be taken. The gentleman that took the measurements supplied us with a phone # and instructed us to call and make an appointment assuring us that the measurements would be in Home Depots System by the end of the day. Me and my wife made an appointment to see a designer through HDs service only to show up a week later to be told that the designer wasnt working on that Saturday and that we could schedule an appointment for the following Sunday. Despite the inconvenience we showed up per our scheduled appointment the following Sunday to learn that the Kitchen designer could not keep the appointment since their person who performed the measurements did not load them into the system. After a bit of runaround it was identified that a measurement was missed and they would need to come back to our house to complete the job. You would assume at this point that everything would be resolved...Unfortunately the extremely poor customer service continued. Me and my wife finally had our appointment with the kitchen design person selecting a cabinet style and manufacturer and discussing 3 design options...Understandably they were unable to complete the designs for the 3 options we were interested in (the designer actually only partially completed 1 option) within the appointment time allotted however we were assured by the designer that we would be emailed all 3 designs with estimated costs. Weeks later and we are still waiting!!! I have followed up twice without success. I truly expected more. I welcome a conversation with someone from their cooperate office to share my experience and to come to a resolution.

Let me start by saying, this is one of the few Home Depots I will consistently shop at. Like any other company, there are always those few individuals (employees or managers) who will truly make the experience of shopping or spending money there worth it. That said, they have some top notch and very knowledgeable staff at this location and in each and every instance where I needed to make return trips for something, it was often because I mismeasured a cut of wood or left something off of my shopping list. If was a question of Lowes vs. Home Depot, its a really a moot point. That is, if one was across the street from the other (which it is not) I would shop at both for the product I need and that would be that (some items are store specific, but 99% of what you are looking for are at both, albeit, by different manufacturers). My review is on the staff and service I have received at this particular location and compared to the Hazlet location (1 star on that one for incompetence, misordering and holding up my jobs for up to 12 weeks on their mistake and my cost overrun), you honestly wouldnt know this was the same store in the same chain. Neptune Home Depot is the place to go.

Just tried to order a storm door. Was guided to a real nice man who apparently was recovering from a stroke. While two men sitting there wearing black shirts (I would guess they were some sore of authority figures) This poor man tried to help me and for the most part asked and answered the right questions. After receiving a price quote, I inquired as to I could still get the Veterans Discount. At this point the man clearly did not know and advised that (not on Special Orders), which makes no sense at all but, not one of the two other employees stepped in to give an explanation as to why I am not a Vet for Special Orders or correct the man taking the order. I left without placing the order. Guess the economy must be turning around as the arrogance of some of your sales people is returning. I have no problem dealing with challenged staff members but I do have an issue with the two men allowing him to struggle!!!!!!!! Will go to Lowes from now on!!

Ordered a dryer for delivery and scheduled the delivery a week out. They couldnt give us a rough time of delivery, just a date. So, I take the night off of work so I can be at my house for the delivery. Got a call the night before saying they would be there between 3pm-7pm. The following day we waited until 6:30 to call and find out where they were with our dryer. The person I spoke to at the store was beyond rude and treated me like I was a bratty child. Sure enough, nobody showed up that night, and the following morning when I went into the store, the delivery crew claimed they called and tried to reschedule our delivery for 3 days after our original delivery date. I was treated like a number and not a person. Should have known better. We canceled our order and bought the same dryer at the same price from Eatontown Appliance. They were able to deliver the day I signed the papers.

If you want to return stuff, watch out for the Hispanic lady from Hell. She thinks shes a cop. I was nearby and pulled in to return XS stuff, and not haul it back to the store I bot it. This lady gave me greif because she said some things I had to return were ONLY sold by the bundle and couldnt be returned 1sy-2sy, even though I had the receit showing Id bot them that way. After 5 min of htis she checkd with a mngr -- and I got my money back. Ive had NO problems with anyone else at this store. In fact theres one handicapped guy who limps and talks oddly -- he knows the store like the back of his hand. Seek HIM out if you need to find something, tho he mite have to walk you to it cause hes not so good at explaning.

You have to understand this store is understaffed and constantly bringing in new people. The first person you see with an orange apron sadly might be as knowledgeable about the store as you. If you want to avoid frustration, check the desks first. Also remember everyone in the store, even if they dont work in that department, should have the means to contact that department and get someone to you.

Picked up some more power tools for my business and they have a great selection of the equipment that I needed. The employee working on the hardware section was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

We waited for someone to help us buy a washing machine. Two associates were on computers. We were told that someone would be with us shortly. After about half an hour we left. Terrible service.

The kitchen service and installation of our cabinets was outstanding. Appointments and installation were on schedule. Highly recommend selection of cabinets and colors.

Its Home Depot it is like most other Home Depots they usually have what you need. Just hard to find someone to ask questions about something you need advice on.
