I needed some help so I see three guys standing around, watching one guy pull down halogen bulbs while Im standing there waiting for a good three minutes for help. These three geniuses start walking away without so much as a, "Can I help you?" until I pipe up, "Guys, can one of you page someone over to plumbing for me?". The tallest one yells, "Hey Carol!" (great pager system) and a woman comes over. I say I need help in plumbing, she says, "Oh I dont know anything about plumbing." . . . Well why the hell were you called over!? I ask her to page someone over to plumbing, she walks away instead. I see a FIFTH worker and ask him, "Can you help me in plumbing?". "Nah, I dont know nothing about plumbing." So I go back to plumbing waiting for a worker to come and sure enough here comes the fifth guy I asked for help and he starts helping another couple in the same aisle. Then when hes done with them he walks right by me like he doesnt see anything. What a useless bunch of scumbags. If I ever worked at any job like that Id be out of a job.

There are times when there is no one around to ask a question. Assuming they dont have enough sales people. We noticed there was some type of renovation going on and asked a floor worker why everything seems to be all shifted around and of course the question came to mind that it was for christmas and the answer we got from a sales person is "No, I wish it was Christmas...its so much more than that.What the hell is that supposed to mean??

This place is the worst. Avoid. .other home depots are ok.. the one in mahwah nj is terrible. The staff have no clue or knowledge of anything. Tried ordering doors for my home and Im still waiting for installation..its going on 6 weeks now. I just got a phone call saying that I need to pay for the doors when I did pay and have a receipt. Now they said I would receive a phone call today for installation and Im still waiting. Poorly run. .

Big store with all the hardware you need, although this is exactly what one would usually expect from Home Depot. Even if youre not a homeowner, some of their inexpensive materials, cleaners, and safety gear may still be of interest. The only problem Ive encountered with them is their self-checkout machines. Sometimes coins would just get stuck in the slot and I had to ask them to unjam the coin slot with a screwdriver.

I never leave reviews for anything, but todays visit was exceptional. Joe at the register handled an exchange unbelievably well. Not only did he run outside to grab me a shopping cart, but he went ahead and found me in the department he knew I was headed to in order to return my credit card and receipt for the return. Everyone else was friendly as well, but Joe was exceptional.

Nobody ever answers the phone here. Everytime I have called the mahwah store, I spend 15-30 mins listening to the ringing. Someone answers, then transfers, 10 mins later, someone answers then transfers. Eventually someone just hangs up. This location is worse than Paterson

Needed a large piece of wood (58 x 20) to covered my warped bathroom cabinet. Henry was SO helpful! Helped me find the right piece for what I needed and cut it perfectly to size for me. Just put it in and it looks great! Thanks so much Henry!!!

Very pleasant knowledgeable sales woman...I was there to buy a specific dishwasher...she pointed out other option s but not at all pushy...have had very positive past experiences with appliance sales and customer service at Home Depot.

Small and Clueless staff, this Home Depot does its best to suit almost all your home needs while accomplishing none of it. But hey, at least there is..... NO WHERE ELSE TO GO FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT.

This is my favorite HomeDepot in the area. Its intuitively laid out and the staff really knows their stuff. Theres even a licensed plumber in the plumbing department! His help has been invaluable.

This is your normal run of the mill Home Depot, right here. I went here sometimes to pick up and swap out water jugs. They have a helpful staff and a well stocked store. Fits the bill.

Excellent Home Depot. Very well stocked. Highly recommended
