Bad return policy. Please read very carefully their policies before ordering anything. I feel manipulated and cheated. Yes, they have good appliance selection and lower prices than the competitors but once the order is place you can pray that all is well and good. They are in a selling business only, that is taking the money away. Ordered dishwasher that costed $700 from this place. It was delivered as scheduled. The appliance was unpacked and left in front of my door without the packaging and the exterior box. Once we removed the plastic cover, we realized that i have mismeasured the cabinet opening 1" shorter than the appliance width. We taped the plastic back and contacted the customer service for return. First we had to wait for RMA # to return the appliance, there is a $250 freight charge and 20% restocking fee because the appliance has NO BOX (this is the box that was taken by the delivery team). Total of $390 only to return the unused unopened item. I asked them if it is possible to get a store credit, or replace the dishwasher with another alliance and avoid the restocking fee. They would not allow this. This place should be put out of business per my opinion. For your reference this is part of their return policy issued with the RMA number: "Please be sure to adhere to the following guidelines for the return. Our warehouse will automatically reject any product that doesn’t adhere to these rules. Do not write on the manufacturer’s box or packing materials. If you need to re-seal the appliance, please use clear tape. Do not use an excess of tape to reseal the box. Please reference the RMA number on the return label. If the warehouse notes damage to any box, that box will be rejected. Please note that damage includes, but is not limited to, rips, tears, and holes. For safety, we advise that you overbox the package for a safe return. Once the Fisher Paykel dishwasher has been received and inspected, you will be refunded minus the associated shipping and restocking fees. All returns are subject to a restocking fee, which will be determined during the inspection by our returns team (the average restocking fee is 20%). Your refund will be issued within two weeks of the item receipt. Let us know if you have any questions. We’d be happy to help you."

I PAID FOR MY ORDER 02/06/2017... WITHIN A WEEK AMTRUCKING CALLED TO MAKE THE DELIVERY ON A FRIDAY BETWEEN 4-8.00PM... I SOLD MY EXISTING REFRIGERATOR TO MAKE SPACE! i TOOK TIME OFF WORK TO BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DELIVERY... WE WAITED & WAITED, NO DELIVERY, NO CALL FROM ANYONE FROM AMTRUCKING EITHER... THIS WAS 2 WEEKS AGO,I RECEIVED A RETURN CALL 4 DAYS AFTER THE FAILED 1ST PROMISED DELIVERY,THEY DIDNT REALLY HAVE ANY EXCUSE EXCEPT THAT THEY COULDNT COMPLETE THE ARRANGED DELIVERY & THEY HAD NOW FIRED THE DRIVER.... THIS WEDS I GOT A CALL WITH NO APOLOGY TELLING ME AM TRUCKING WERE GOING TO DELIVER THE NEXT DAY I.E THURSDAY (24HRS NOTICE) I SAID NO,IT WAS TO SHORT OF NOTICE AS WE ARE OUT OF TOWN...I ASKED IF THEY COULD DO FRIDAY,NO WAS THE ANSWER..YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK! I CALLED THE SALES OFFICE OF DESIGNER APPLIANCES AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION FROM START TO FINISH ASKING FOR A DELIVERY DAY/TIME THAT SUITED ME,I ALSO TOLD HIM WE DID NOT HAVE A REFRIGERATOR AND WERE USING A CAMPING ICE BOX! THAT WAS WEDS OF THIS WEEK (2/22)..... NO ONE HAS GOT BACK TO ME,I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN I WILL GET MY 4 APPLIANCES WHICH I PAID $6372.46 IN FULL! I HAVE EMAILED MY SALES REP (JOSEPH COCUZZA) AT DA 3 TIMES, NO RESPONSE!! THE SERVICE DA HAS ME PROVIDED IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!! Follow up: I did eventually get my delivery of 4 GE appliances; dishwasher was badly damaged,i have called DA 3 times to see when this will be replaced, their response is thier working on it.... Q:when can I expect my replacement? A. "we are working on it!" but when? A. we are working on it!!! Seriously the customer service really is bad!!!!

I was very happy with purchasing on line. With online "Help" worker we solved how to get the refrigerator into the kitchen. During the payment I scheduled my later delivery date. Before the delivery day I received the phone call from Design Appliances confirming day of delivery and giving me time frame for truck arrival. Then during that time I received phone call, that the truck arrives within about 45 minutes. Next call was when the truck arrived. Hands of 2 workers were full to move the heavy and 27.5 cubic feet refrigerator into the kitchen. Refrigerator handles and my entry door had to be removed to pull appliance thru into the house. Both guys were working hard and fast, no complains and cheerful all the time although I could see they were tired. They put handles back on refrigerator, hung the door back and delivery was accomplished. As soon I returned back to my computer, I found in my email documented announcement about delivery. This my second appliance purchase from this store. Very happy with prices and service.

Had a very bad experience: ordered refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher , washer and dryer for the new home. The delivery company they are working with messed up with the washer and dryer delivery hours. The part of the dishwasher was damaged, the refrigerator had a lot of manufactured defects. Instead of handling all these issues, they send me to call and work directly with the manufactures. The issues with the refrigerator have not been resolved as a result that the delivery co that installed the refrigerator fraudulently submitted to the designer appliances that they did not install it at all and as a result they are not going to come and fix the issues. We basically fell between cracks and they did not want to do anything. We spent hours on the phone calls with them and the manufactures. The worst service weve ever received. Their sale person was only available while we were placing the orders and after he completely ignored us, did not respond on our calls, text messages.

During the month of May, there were two promotional rebates running for Maytag through Designer Appliances. Because we live in Wisconsin, we were hesitant to buy from Designer Appliances. Id read some poor reviews and family even cautioned us against it - what if the products arrived damaged? Designer Appliances was cheaper than our local retailer by $1100. I spoke with Susan in customer service for about 20 minutes explaining my concerns and she assured me that it is Designer Appliances goal to make sure that customers are happy and that issues are resolved if deliveries go wrong. Today we received our 4 appliances. They were in PERFECT condition. I could not be happier that we chose to go with Designer Appliances. Saving $1100 IS worth it! Not to mention, the customer service was excellent. If youre on the fence about buying from Designer Appliances, I highly recommend you call and talk to Susan or one of their other representatives.

Buying from Designer Appliances was great , the customer service rep, Melissa was great she was as accommodating as could be, she was polite , kind easy to speak to and she got the job done.. I had a problem with the transportation company that they use. They were the worst, they tried to get extra money out of me for the delivery when delivery is free. Melissa put a stop to that. when they delivered the items they unwrapped everything and left the garbage in the middle of my lawn. They have no respect for other peoples property. No class what so ever. I hope they get a better delivery service thats customer friendly. Because they make Designer Appliances look bad. Overall, everything worked out. If it wasnt for Melissa things wouldnt have gone so smooth. Shes the best. I recommend everyone to buy from them. Prices are Great! *************
