Yesterday was my second time going there. Everyone is friendly, they have a nice selection of clothes, but not shoes. The store manager allowed us to look thru bins to see if we could find any, which was nice. and the store is small and feels crowded. Uptown gives these discount cards (see pic) and if you spend $280 and have all of the card stamped you get a discount. Usually I turn the card in to buy my stuff and then a new card gets stamped. Well....Not this time and not at this store. At first, the manager/owner said that it was written on the card that we couldnt get a NEW card stamped at the same time that we turn another one in, but it wasnt written anywhere. Not on the card, not on the website. Then she said they were like reward miles, but reward miles have the rules and regulations written somewhere for their customers to see. ANY other retail place that has the card option (Mike Jersey Sub, Platos closet, Asian Bowl) or even ones that keep track electronically like Starbucks or Smoothie King dont tell you that you cant get a reward the same day you make a purchase, using your rewards. I had never heard of that EVER and I have a long history of going to the Uptown in Arlington. Needless to say, the customer did not come first and I will never be back to this particular store. For those of you that rely on saving money to get clothes for your kids, you shouldnt come to this location either. Looking at the other reviews Im starting to wonder if we were treated like this because my sons are black. If thats the case, they should be ashamed of themselves. Making up new rules based on race!

Just left this establishment after hearing good reviews from other people. Walked in and no one welcomed me or asked if they could assist me. Some guy came out of nowhere and started poking his head in and out of every aisle we went down checking to see if we were stealing. He never once mentioned if he could assist us. All his effort went into following us and no effort to assist us. Some people will never see certain people as consumers. They will only see you as s potential thief no matter how honest of a person you are. This is a reply from Darrrin below. 12/9/2016 Darrin if I drive 20minutes from where I live to come to your establishment and have half a brain to read the sign above your door then I know that I was at your store. Dont assume that Im an idiot and thief. Like I said above I was referred by a friend and I even checked out your Facebook page and I used my GPS. You proved my point if you dont remember me in your store because there was only 1 other customer there at the time. I had on the blue skull cap on and when I walked in nobody greeted me or my wife. Then a guy (maybe you, not sure if youre female or male) came out and start peeking around the end of every I aisle I went down. If you greeted each and every customer that came into your establishment regardless of how busy you are or how you may perceive that persons character maybe you wouldnt get a bad review. A simple "hello" would have been enough for me to think otherwise that you think Im stealing from a Thrift Store.

HHOOO BOY do I have a story for you. So, I came into youre "establishment" sometime over the past three weeks (Dont really remember when lol but it was at night so I mean hey at least I found the store) right after a nice and wholesome time at "WINGSTOP™️". As soon as I waltzed @my_self in there; I was greeted by some ChIcK at the counter whom couldnt have been more friendly. HOWEVER, as I was looking for stylish and snazzy clothing to attend my daughters Ok Google, look up a recipe for Green Bean Casserole wedding, I noticed a lack of full-sized wedding dresses. Now thats a problem for me, beCAUSE this wedding is on a budget, and I needa some cheap (Yet delectable) threads. The wedding is in less than a week now, so. Please restock your wedding dress isle ASAP--- PLEASE (Preferably with either denim or leather dresses) Ok Google, post the Review.

Only giving it one star because I have to click something. This place is decent to buy name brands for cheap, but HORRIBLE to sell to. Ive tried once before to sell my things there; they turned all of my stuff down (even things Id gotten from hot retailers for teens and young adults). Turned me off for a while, then during another closet purge this week I decided to give them another chance. I brought in gently worn business professional clothing, mostly from Banana Republic. i had spent upwards of $200 on these clothes just last season, and they offered me a great sum of......$27.50 store credit, or $22.00 cash. I took the cash, because there is no way you will ever see me set foot in there ever again.

My wife and I took a large amount of nice barely used trendy clothing here and were surprised that only 4 pcs were wanted out of all the fairly new items. To me it seems like they werent willing to purchase anymore than that due to the lack of funds on their end. The reason I say this is that when I dropped of my tub there was already about 7 tubs worth of clothing ahead of me. This will be the first and last time I will try to do any business with uptown.

7/8/17 I visited this store and driving around and put in boutiques in my GPS. The store is nice and the staff was very friendly and help with with the clothing when I arms were too full. I did mention that they need clothing for plus size because we like to look beautiful also. I got two pair of shoes and a top. I would visit again if Im in the area (from Irving). They have nice prices.

Cutest store ever! They buy super stylish and trendy clothing and sell it at such good prices. Best! Store! Ever! I bought some adorable new sandals for $6 and Dolce Vita sandals, probably worn once for $10. They buy my clothes, give me cash or even more if I take it on account and I shop away. Clean out your closets and go see them. You will not be disappointed.

Great store. Very nice selection of clothes and excellent customer service from the staff. They are very helpful at all times. The value and the service set Uptown Cheapskate Watauga apart. I have worn the clothes bought there and received many compliments. Id definitely recommend it as a place to get nice business casual outfits for a great value

I went to Uptown because when I typed in Plus size thrift store it showed me this store, but I was very disappointed. Their pant sizes are confusing and their variety in Plus sizes isnt that much of a variety. But, I guess thats not their fault. They probably just arent getting clothes that are plus size... But oh well.

I took my clothes up there with a few miss me jeans , Aeropostale, rue21 and didnt get a call its now Saturday and I HAD TO CALL to find out if my clothes were done and they not just lost my clothes but didnt even go through it and lost my info. Very unorganized. ..... not coming again.
