I went to Petsmart for the first time in over a year to purchase an automatic litter box because Im out of town a lot and unable to clean it every day. I went at about 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. After spending about 10 minutes standing there reading about the two litter boxes I was trying to choose from, I walked around the entire store to find help. There was no one on the floor to help me, so I waited in one of the 5 cashier lines to ask for help. When I finally reached the cashier, she tells me no one can help me and that Ill have to wait because every one of their employees was on a register. All I needed to know was the difference between the two automatic litter boxes. So someone finally comes over acting like she is bothered that I have a question. She tells me the only difference between the litter boxes is that one is multi-cat and one was single-cat which is not what I asked - I asked about the filters, how often they needed to be changed, which would save me the most money, work better, etc. If I am going to make a $170 purchase, I want to make sure its worth it! I then asked her if she has ever known anyone to use one and she insulted me by saying "most of our customers just scoop their own litter boxes" and I said "well Ive been doing that for 2 years and Im ready to make life easier." After she failed to help me, I stood there for another couple of minutes trying to decide which one to buy. But then I realized I didnt want to buy something from a store with so many rude, useless employees. So I left without making any purchases. After today, I will not go back to that store. I left feeling like I had somehow been a burden on them.

Whoever "s" is he/she is clearly a competitor that probably got put out of business... No Petsmart I have ever been in (over 5 states now) has ever sold dogs. In fact cats were the largest animals Ive seen sold in a PetSmart and even then I think it was only one out of the 50 or so PetSmarts Ive entered. Writing fake reviews only hurts the internet community please take your garbage elsewhere. This place is probably only a 3.5 - 4 start quality store but Im giving it a 5th too offset "s" obvious troll. "Unhappy" it is fairly common (I believe) for businesses (well at least in NJ, not sure about the rest of the U.S.) to close the doors 5-10 minutes prior to the close time to ensure all customers in the store already get out. This is a safety issue and we used to do it all the time when I worked at a grocery store in high school. If you have never worked in retail, locking a customer inside the store is pretty bad lol (yes its happened to a store I worked at once, this lady walked up to the register with a full cart $200+ worth of stuff and we had to put it all back and she had to leave without her groceries. Still not sure how she got in the store with both in-doors locked other than if she saw one of us open the out door and did the same lol).

Everyone is a freaking jerk in this store. They have one employee who really gets me fired up. He is a young dark haired punk ass who yells when he speaks. He is being SARCASTIC friendly. He yells "WELCOME TO PETSMART" and laughs about it. He sneaks up behind people and yells "NEED ANY HELP?". After I say no, he walks away snickering. REALLY, grow the hell up man!!!! They used to have a descent staff. I liked Rebecca and Robin. But guess they are gone now because I never see them anymore. The staff knows absolutely nothing about the reptiles. I asked them questions that I already knew the answer to and their answers we so wrong it shocked me. They feed baby ball pythons pinky mice and tell the customers to do the same. WTF!!!!! A baby ball needs atleast a hopper mouse. That is just one of many thing they are telling the customer that is incorrect. If you want correct information on how to care for reptiles, call an online breeder or go to village pets. The guys down there know what they are doing. I still have to buy my dogs food here, but I take all of my other business elsewhere. Might even start ordering my food online.

Ive been using this Petsmart for over the last 10 years of living in East Tenessee. It is by far the cleanest and nicest staffed petstore in our area. Im always treated nicely, greeted with a smile when I come in, helped wit whatever my needs are and thanked as I leave. The animals always look well cared for (Ive worked retail in a smaller petstore and know how hard that never ending task is) and the staff has alway been kind a knowledgable. If one person doesnt know the answer to a question I have, they always offer another representative to help. I muse be visiting a different store based on the previous reviews because Ive never had any sort of issue at all. My dog has been trained in store (they did a great job, we are bringing out new pup in soon for his round). The only thing is I wish there was a Petsmart in the Greeneville, TN area, we have only TSC and Walmart and could really use a well staffed and knowledgeable store like this one closer to home.

Well to start with they had a coat I was going to buy my dog for 6.97 well when they rung it up it rung up as a penny so the two guys at the register was going to punch in the price and little Mrs thing savanna the so called wanna be supervisor says they cant sale it to me cause it was last season jacket and she couldnt get off the Damn phone long enough to talk so I called corporate office and they told me the still should have sold it to me cause it was on the shelf I have to wait till tomorrow to talk to corporate office again it was the worst shopping store I have ever been in my life I guess Ill start shopping on line petsmart sucks ass

They close too early being at 9pm and on a Friday night? Too early Especailly on weekends when most people do their shopping ! And only open til 10pm around holidays? I think they should close at 10pm regardless so as not to cofuse potienal customers about their hours. Having set hours is more professional for a business like this i would think. . I only go here if i need something i cant find else where. The dog treats are very expensive compared to other stores that sell the same items. Ive Never heard anything good about their grooming department and shunt use them anyway.

I am completely disappointed in the customer service at this location. Over many years I have always purchased my pet products at Petsmart and, until today, I have always received good customer service. I will never shop at this location again. It does not stop here. I intend on telling my family as well as my friends to cease doing business at this location. In addition, I will be writing the corporate office concerning the details of my experience as well as other social media sites. The manager of this location needs to hire competent employees or be replaced himself/herself.
