Nice supermarket. Has a lot of amenities. My favourite is the sitting room in the upstairs Starbucks. Its open from 6AM to 7PM M-F and 6:30AM to 7PM Saturdays and Sundays. I like the sitting room mainly because of the WIFI connection. Its not as fast or powerful as the ones at the Seattle Public Library branches, but I cant complain. It is free. I kinda wish the upstairs bathroom was a little bigger, though. With just one toilet you might have to wait sometimes. Also, its not QFCs fault, but the bathrooms can be a bit dirty due to used papers strewn about all over. The frequent litter created by human beings is notorious in this part of the galaxy, and the town of Wallingford is, unfortunately, not immune to it.

The grocery manager Chris, Middle aged gentleman often times wears glasses , has really helped me over past several times Ive been in there . Hes really knowledgeable , about where stuff is. Ill have a entire shopping list (given by my lazy wife) . I am very ignorant when it comes to grocery shopping I cant ever find anything . Fortunately there are employees like Chris to help me find everything, at the same time making shopping fun. Hes always happy (I dont know how the place is a madhouse sometimes ) anyhow the man is funny while keeping it professional the entire time. In simpliier terms A pleasure to be around , I love this store !!

QFC - the most easy-to-access grocer in the neighborhood. Thank goodness over the years they grew to align with the diversity of its newest residents, young professionals with a health consciousness. With the new high-rise condos, I have to wonder who will move in to compete. Hmmm...probably even more new restaurants, as most will likely be able to eat out as often as eating in. Everyone has been friendly and engaging. The deli area is pretty tight, thus those behind the window dont always see me when Im ready. Surely there is a way to make their connections a bit more smooth.

The people and products are great...but the store has an unintuitive setup where a quarter of the products seem to be upstairs and the marking isnt all that obvious for the stairs. Upstairs holds bulk foods, cards, some seasonal toy and decorations, organic and natural products except produce, and Starbucks (which is actually nicer than most grocery store coffee shops because it is upstairs and somewhat isolated).

Everything here is more expensive than most QFCs, and thats the main reason why I rated this store so low. The sushi isnt well made, but they charge a lot more than the best QFC for sushi does (Im not telling which one - its mine!). The alcohol is also overpriced across the board. Oh, and theres no trash can outside! Positives: 1) bathrooms are usually clean; 2) lots of self-checkout lines.

This particular QFC is fairly small but has pretty much every thing you would need from a grocery store - produce, packaged goods, fresh deli/salad/soup counter, liquor section and, of course, a Starbucks. Its located along 45th street; so for those of you coming from Ballard to the Freeway (or vice versa), it can be a great pit stop on the way home.

This is a perfect store to pick up one or two items, nice and compact, love the Starbucks on the 2nd floor. Ill admit I do my weekly shopping at the Fred Meyer in Ballard but that is simple because of the larger selection. Good parking for the area, just wish they didnt have so many people peddling outside on a daily basis.

This is a great grocery story to get the critical important groceries. The selection is pretty wide for considering how relatively small the store is compared to other QFCs. The nice perks of the store is the Starbucks that is located upstairs as well as an all natural food selection also located upstairs. I recommend QFC!

The Deli staff is this stores downfall. I have had several terrible interactions in the fifteen years I have lived in Wallingford. Tonight they had no fried chicken at 6pm/ dinner time. I wonder if this deli will ever get it right. Makes me sad since this is my neighborhood store.

Good selection of produce for a chain grocery store, and decent natural foods section upstairs. Lines are generally sorry, even during busy times because of an active customer base that uses the self checkout. Wine selection is decent for the big-name wine brands.

Standard QFC with friendly service. They have a fairly large parking lot which is a nice change of pace being that its located in Wallingford where all youll get is roadside parking. Good stop for snacks & beverages for the movie at the theater up the street.

Its a bit of an awkward and tight layout, but thats my only complaint. The staff are very helpful if you ask them. Its a good balance of letting you do your thing, but when you have that confused look on your face, they tend to ask if they can help.

no air conditioning in the middle of August! The thermostat reads 78 degrees..so I asked the manager Paul why it was so stuffy and hot, and he replied "The Air system has been broken for years..theyll never fix it". Wow, he is the store manager!!!!!!!!

Have been going here for years! Kevin, the cashier I always go to, is always so entertaining and knows me by name! He goes out of his way and his customer service is above top notch! Give this man a raise!!!! Highly recommend!!!

A very... interesting store. Two floors, tons of content, but organized in a somewhat awkward way. I still could not work out the system according to which the items are distributed, but quite enjoy browsing the place.

Good little store, but with the growth in the area, it is getting a little crowded, I also dont find the prices to be all that good. But it is a great in the neighborhood store, that will have everything you need.

Good neighborhood grocery, but a little cramped, and their juice selection contained multiple pomegranate and açai choices, but no cranberry. I have to think the company is going to renovate this place soon.

Locals were very upset when QFC bought out the old Food Giant. The company has tried to retain that local feel. Busy place and a neighborhood essential. Its a.long haul to the next nearest supermarket.

Crowded parking lot and store and difficult driving anywhere near either are rather typical urban village features you have to put up with but it is pretty well stocked for a small store.

This is our grocery store. There are many like it but this one is ours. The highlight is bantering with the checkout people, who are usually willing to play along. Ian is the best.

Sometimes hit or miss, but overall a pretty run-of-the-mill grocery store. The organic food is upstairs, easy to miss. Bulk selection can be old, so take a sample before buying.

Though not as posh as some of the local alternatives, this QFC offers a well-stocked and diverse selection of product. Oh, and their cheese countwr is nothing to trifle with.

A bigger store after the remodel, its very, very busy. Good selection, but try to avoid peak hours: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon/early evening.

The local Food Giant is great! Great produce and customer service! Enjoy it while you can, I heard they are selling the establishment to Quality Food Centers next year.

Nice QFC but hard to park in the front. They have a large parking lot across (behind the dry cleaner) but it is only 2 hours parking. There are street parking lots.
