My go-to market for sauces, curry spices, treats, and other Asian culinary ingredients. This place is extremely affordable. The only real downside at this place is that the meat seems questionable in quality and in sanitation. The coolers are very dirty, and Im not certain that the proper food safety / handling is a big priority here. I did buy some pork, and I didnt get sick; but Id much rather put my trust in the butchers at Better Meat Co. or Ballard Market, frankly. The prices are much better than Uwajimaya, although, the store is a bit smaller. But if you dont want to make the trip downtown, they do have a fairly diverse Asian foods / ingredients selection. Surprisingly, a large Mexican section as well. If youre looking for a place to buy cheap rice wine and sauce-building ingredients, this is the best location in Seattle.

Pretty standard as asian supermarkets go. There is plenty of selection and the prices are pretty good. I appreciate the non food item section, as well. Last time I was there, there were several aisles of useful things, all for a dollar. The produce section is plenty big, and carries several items I dont see at the other supermarkets I go to. Location is good. Plenty of other shops in the same strip mall for getting other errands done. Last time I went I got a bubble tea drink, and it was very good. Ill definitely be getting another. This supermarket isnt overflowing with service, but the people that help you are nice and know what theyre doing. Personally, thats how I like it. Also, Im a sucker for bubble tea, so I sometimes get one and browse the store while I drink it.

So Google said they were open until 10 so I went there at 8:30 and was shopping around, had a cart full and hadnt even made it to the produce yet.. I started seeing employees look at me and walk off and at two minutes to 9 they turned all the lights off with me in the back of the store. Im sure I could have paid for what I had already, but this really left a bad taste in my mouth, considering nobody even said anything to me, and they saw me multiple times. I left my cart full in the store. I was enjoying myself before this happened, I guess they need to update their Google hour of operation.

Convenient Asian market so I dont have to go downtown to Uwajimaya. Has the Japanese mayonnaise and other sauces that Im addicted too, and good deals on big bags of rice. Im vegetarian so I cant speak to the quality of meat or fish products, but the veggies have always been quite good. Noticed quite a few vegetarian meat substitutes from Asian companies that Ive never seen before that Im eager to try. The best is the old fruit/produce table, where I can get a not-the-freshest bag of apples for $1.50, dry them out in a dehydrator, and eat them for days.

Prices are good but place is filthy. Good for prepackaged asian stuff like sauces but meats and seafood seemed really sketchy would not recommend. Funky smell and just looks dirty. Produce not bad. I found lemongrass which i needed and they were pretty fresh. Store was pretty empty at 8pm on Thursday so it was nice but felt like hardly anyone shopped there. Lady organizing groceries was friendly and was helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Cashier was as expected didnt say a word. Come for the prices not the service.

I love this market. It feels like a relic from a bygone era, or an ideal setting for a horror game, with the defunct restaurant near the entrance and the sad childrens horse ride out front. Its dingy, the staff dont talk to you, but its the best place for a huge selection of authentic Asian items, from ramen to mochi to produce and everything in between. I stop in and stock up whenever Im in the area.

Best place for cheap Asian groceries and stuff from all over the world. Standard American packaged groceries are priced a bit higher than at stores like Safeway, but they have excellent prices on meat, seafood and produce, though I wish they would use less styrofoam and cellophane in packaging produce. Good place to buy milk if you want a half gallon carton that doesnt expire for a month and a half.

Excellent quality and selections of Asian (& also some Latin American) groceries. I dont know of any other options for folks in the north end of the city and am happy to support HT. Unfortunately, for good banh me, head south to the ID. The banh me at HT was skimpy on everything, overly sweet, too large a bread loaf, and therefore not satisfying.

There are a lot of nationalities represented I these isles. My only knit pick is the smell of seafood going bad that permeates the building. I dont think Id buy seafood there. However, I bought red meat and it was fine. Vegetables were good to go and they even had curry leaves which can be challenging to find fresh.

Ill agree with others that the service is poor, but this market has a lot of unique products. LOTS of sauces and spices that are harder to find elsewhere - and they are really cheap too! I always get a bubble tea here before heading into the movie next door.

HT market has a great selection of Asian ingredients and frozen foods, and they also have smaller, but impressive, selections of foods from various European and South American countries. Prices are reasonable and good quality of very good. Check them out!

This market is big but the meats here are often old and rot after 2 days in the fridge. I suspect they might label them with the incorrect packed dates. They dont have chillies. However, bitter guords here are often of a better taste breed.

This place blew me away. Tucked inside this non-heated grocery store is a restaurant serving the best Vietnamese restaurant food Ive had in a long time. And its a buffet! I hesitated even writing this publicly. But I did to share the dream.

If you are grabbing a snack or drink here to sneak into the theater next door, be sure to check the package before you take it to the register. On separate occasions Ive grabbed the first item on the shelf and discovered it to be open.

I only go here if I absolutely need a rare ingredient. Great place to find any type of Asian food, ingredient or sauce. The place is a little run down and it does smell like fish. But overall, decent place to shop for groceries.

Its a good place to find products from other countries that arent usually available in the US (green tea kit kats, Milo and seasonings are a few examples) but Id recommend checking the use by date on anything youre looking to buy

Meets my needs for Asian ingredients, especially when there is too much traffic to drive down south. Vegetable freshness is inconsistent, so check what you pick beforehand. Staff is always very helpful and friendly.

Good stop for Middle Eastern groceries. The only bad thing about this place is the smell at the entrance. I really dislike it. Every time I go there I hold my breath for a moment until I pass by the entrance area.
