Poor Service I came in to get lunch near their deli area. No one was there. I waited for about 7min before I went and found someone who could assist. That happened to be the manager. After another 3min that manager found someone who could help I finally was able to make my order. The manager rung me up and instead of offering to comp my meal he handed me a soda cup. My meal was $2.49, you couldnt have offered that to me? The sign clearly says 3min or its free. Saying the soda was complementary was more of a slap in the face than a generous gesture. I went there on a whim for lunch, I will not be doing that again.

Theres really nothing to like about this store. The service isnt great (why do Safeway managers never have enough checkers on the floor at peak hours; those lines are their fault, not the employees), the produce section smells like farts, a lot of it is spoiled, the prices arent amazing, and the prepared foods just always look so depressing. QFC is right across the street. Its no Town & Country Market, but its better than Safeway. Alternatively, Trader Joes is a few blocks East. Theres just no reason to go to Safeway. Ever.

After being treated super rudely at QFC, I dropped what I was going to buy and went to get some CR salmon at Safeway @ Jefferson Square. Ronaldo, behind the seafood counter was SO helpful, kind and gave me the freshest cut he had. Meeka the checker made a special effort by opening her check-out lane for me when I came back a 2nd time after forgetting salsa! She is super personable and went out of her way to make me feel like a valued customer- they both did so , Way to go!

Its a nice store , in the daytime .The staff do a good job the produce is always fresh. However at night, the graveyard shift , (skeleton crew) . Whole different story. Everything is opposite of what I just wrote. Except the staff they are always helpful , and I wouldnt blame em if they werent . Ive been to a lot of Safeways , including several Ralphs in California . This one as old as it is , compared to other similar Safeways is actually quite decent .

i really love this place. its a little sad to say that i love a grocery store. but they have great prices, especially compared to metro mart across the street. this location is super clean and very friendly. but the big winner for me is that i really love their app. it links to your card and since it tracks what you buy, it offer great personalized deals and the my list feature is awesome, i use that for my grocery list.

I am doing a class project (which I explained) and was trying to ask the customer service desk how much 3 different specific items cost. She was rude and put me on hold for a very long time, then transferred me to produce, where my call was never answered and then mysteriously disconnected. I tried to call back several times and was disconnected. This is the first review Ive made for any establishment.

Ive been coming to the Jefferson Square Safeway for years. Dave the manager is so nice!! If I saw him today I would tell him how disappointed I was with the service. Priscilla was not engaging nor helpful. I asked for help out and no one came for quite awhile so I did it myself after spending 240.00... Not a good experience today. A smile goes a long way.. Priscilla should try it...

This Jefferson Square Safeway is the go-to for me. Its big with plenty of parking option. My only complain is, if you get here after 9pm, they close one of the entrance(Redbox entrance) with shopping carts. Its pretty annoying. Also, the checkout time could be more as it seems they dont have enough attendants during rush hour.

Its always clean and the employees are nice. The neighborhood is nice and near lots of restaurants and within walking distance to many apartments. Theres a QFC up the street but I prefer Safeway because the parking is easier. QFC has an indoor parking garage which can be a pain when youre in a rush.

Nice, smaller Safeway for quick visits. Parking here is sometimes a challenge during busy hours. Definitely refer to the peak times that Google posts, and dont go during busy times. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

I decided to try out this Safeway after the QFC down the street stopped carry a product I liked, what a mistake. Terrible service, extremely slow cashiers, and incompetent manager. I am never going back!

Not the nicest Safeway. Its an older store and feels a little run down. Selection is okay, but more variety at other locations. The North Admiral store is much better and not that far away.

Customer service nonexistent. A lot of "not my department" responses when trying to find help, then refusal for simple help. Working at Fred Meyer, Im baffled by this customer service.

Just a regular good old grocery store. Good prices and selection. However sometimes a few items are out of stock. Also the Admiral Safeway which is newer is also nicer and cleaner.
