Sorry but I have to share another complaint. Ive never commented on one of these but i was not surprised when I saw there are already so many complaints. Agreed, attitudes suck here! We all know work sucks but you might find some joy in your day if you could reach outside yourself and help someone else. Today my wife picked up her prescription.. a very important one!!! Her prescription had never made it home, she misplaced it at Freddys. I come home to find her passed out and disoriented because she had missed her doses. Turns out she had called the "Customer Service" Desk and the associate made no attempt to help.. "havent seen any pills.." was the extent of his service! No one attempted to do any sort of looking around for her and she was not in any shape to return to look for herself. Luckily I drove over and found the medicine still in the cart she had left by the car. An associate with a simple desire to help could have inspired a life-saving event.. but instead they would simply rather scrape by their employed existence in a heap of sighs and self pity and avoid by all costs anyone who might require them to squeeze out a bit of humanity let alone do their damn job! Your community deserves better, your employer is paying for better... Youre lucky youre not being sued!! PS- there should be an option for zero stars

I dont even, this layout. This one and the Barbur location are just challenging to find things, but this one takes obfuscation to a dedicated, professional level.. Even within a given category (e.g., frozen, kosher, or "international"/"ethnic"), both locations confuse and confound. Would give 2 or 3 stars for that, but, honestly, most of the checkers are competent, efficent, and genuinely nice, and that matters! Layout, though: 1 star. I dont want to have to rummage through Lesser White Wines of Alsace to find tinned green chiles or halvah. Butcher department: 5/5. Theyre killing it, every time, every day. They are the heroes we need but do not deserve.

They understaff their departments and rely on their workers to pick up the extra slack with no extra benefit. They also terminate employees for having anxiety issues, while on sick leave, and for failing to work 6 days per week. Kroger is a dying company, stop being a fly to carrion, and support a company who is invested in the health and success of their workers and the communities in which they operate. Not some shills in Cincinnati making >$200k annual salary while contributing nothing to the customer experience, and failing to pay a living wage to those who do contribute.

The customer service here is the best of any Fred Meyer that Ive been to. From the florist who came over to tell me where more bouquets were, to two others who asked if they could help me in the natural foods and bath and body sections, one even offering to walk me to where an item I wanted was, and especially to the lady behind the deli counter who offered me a taste of the herb turkey I was going to buy a pound of. It was tasty, but I knew my daughters would find it a little too strong, so she saved me from buying the wrong thing.

What the heck is going on with this Fred Meyer hot food section? It is consistently near empty, what is in there looks older than 7/11food, and the people behind the counter have aggressive attitudes. Not once in the last two weeks were they serving anything fresh. I am there at noon each day for lunch and ALWAYS find myself choosing between old, dry, rock hard, fried stuff or a sandwich from the deli that is ludicriously over priced. Once again I am walking out of this place disappointed and HUNGRY.

I shop this Fred Meyers. This store seems to have been forgotten by its owners. Old is the first thing when you walk in. It is in need of a major update. It is small compared to others. Food sections are ill placed so plan on walking in circles. It now has a new health food section as to compete with New Seasons right next door. You will not have the selection you get from other larger stores but it works.

This store has the WORST management....I just recently dealt with the food manager( a stout blonde woman) and the store director(an older man that smelled of smoke) and wow, they had no answer to my questions, and were both very rude. They seemed that they didnt care about my problem and would rather continue having a conversation about nothing work related. F-!!

Had a great customer experience, I had a hard time finding some safety boxes and I was also grocery shopping. I finally asked one of the employees. Derek I think? In grocery, he was so friendly and even helped me find a safety box he recommended. Also told me about the produce and how to pick the best melon! Kudos to your staff. Ill be shopping here again!

The woman that works behind the counter in the deli has fallen madly in love with me. I know this because of the way she handles my lunch meats. The guy that picked up the phone in the electronics is my nemesis. Him and I are in a desperate battle for world domination and neither of us will stop at anything until one of us is victorious.

Good prices and good sales and coupons. For the size of the store they have a good selection of items, including electronics dept- you can get anything from cell phone accessories, printer ink, tablets, cameras, games, etc. Housec dept has towels, curtains, everything and its very convenient. Stores clean, lots of checkers when its busy.

Freddies is literally a staple in the Portland Metro area, without this store I would feel like something is missing. Its a great place to get all of your shopping done, they have so much there you can sometimes even feel overwhelmed with the options. Not to mention the cheap prices.

Grocery store that used to be local. They have gone way downhill since Kroger has taken over. I believe the last Fred Meyer holdout with their corporate office has left the building. I feel they are a necessary evil I have to go to for groceries. I wish they were still local.

This place is horrible. The pharmacy is slow and rude. Lost my scripts twice. Also, called the manager to file a formal complaint, but he said hes too busy and that Ill have to call back another time. Didnt give me his name, email or anything. Great customer service, Freds.

Very poor deli service. Fault of whatever higher management sets the staffing. Deli people are not at fault. They work hard but are spread too thin. Please give them more help every day. I am a daily customer and have walked away several times lately.

No clothing or shoes at this Freddie s, so its easier to get your grocery shopping done quickly here if you do t need those things. This store is well organized, has a growler station, and Ive never had to wait more than one person to check out.

Clean and well maintained. Service wise they are mostly great, but occasionally you will run into an apathetic or overworked employee. My guess is from understaffing. The new remodel adding in the bulk section and growler fill area is great!

Has a respectable home goods area and decent prices but man does this place get CRAZY on the weekend. Tip: shop before 10am on Saturday and Sunday to get in and out without the mid-isle traffic jams and to get decent produce.
