Five months ago in the Summer around July 2015 I had several watches to be fixed with batteries and watch bands. The man who worked at the jewelry counter said he had been there working 30 years. He said that he could not repair my watches or put on any new bands or batteries. He said the bands were in the very far back corner and that we was not going to go get three of them. I went to where I was told they were and of course there were no watch bands in that part of the store. Then I went back and told him and he said that they would never ever ever never ever never ever never ever never ever get any more watch bands in for that type of watch and that they hated to work on watches. I am disabled and slow and a special needs person and never had I been treated so horribly by this man at a Fred Meyer. I found two places in Portland more than willing to fix my watches that have sentimental value to me because my mom got them at the VA in their gift shop. I know he would not fix them because I am slow and a plain jane and am not pretty. If two other stores would fix these watches I fail to understand why Fred Meyer Jewelry treated me so horrible. Like I said I know it is because I am slow and in a wheelchair. Someone told me that watches do not exist anymore which is a lie because the other day I was in JC Penneys at Clackamas Town Center and saw thousands of watches for sale and on sale. Also Freddies had watches for sale over by their hair products and their clothes area in that part of the store. Because of how I was treated at Fred Meyer in Beaverton I am telling everyone to never ever never ever never ever never never ever never ever ever never ever go to Fred Meyer to get anything repaired that is jewelry. They will treat you horrible and like crap especially if you are disabled or in a wheelchair. Please remember to never ever never ever go to Fred Meyer for anything. It is all about the all mighty dollar and tons of people to make tons of dollars. I plan to tell everybody about my experience and no one in a matter of time will trade of buy anything there again. They suck so very bad and could care less about their customers. 10 people will tell 10 people and so on and so on. Word spreads when you are a total jerk and no one will go to your store when you treat the disabled and the slow like garbage. I am not garbage. I have told at least 50 people so far what has happened to me. Then you will be like Haggens and go out of business for good.

Ive been going to this fred Meyer for years as its the closet grocery store to me. Im not really impressed. Today I was standing in line with mostly produce with one gentleman in front of me, the only line that was open so another lady came over saying "the self checkout is open over there if youd like to checkout there" "no thank you". That made me feel like "sorry we dont have enough cashiers today could you please ring up all your produce in self checkout instead of standing in this line". One time a new girl was standing and made a comment to the girl she was checking out in line in front of me "gosh Im so hungry and I want to eat this granola bar but people keep coming into my line and I cant eat in front of customers its not allowed." Not only multiple times items Ive paid for have been left behind by cashiers not paying attention and having to drive back to the store to get it. Finally this last time I decided to not go back and purchased the item left behind elsewhere so I didnt have to deal with it. Wrote fred Meyer about my experiences, no response.

I am the mother of Joe and is using my sons e-mail with a customer complaint. Two days ago my husband and I were at the check out stand at the Beaverton Fred Meyer with a request of purchasing a 50lb. bag of soil. My husband has a bad back and told him he is disabled and cannot lift it. The boy checking us out said he cant find it in the book of his skews and cant ring it up if we dont get it ourselves. Offered no help for us. So in turn my husband said you have just lost a sale. What has happened to customer service and sending out help for people who need it! I am not sure I will be shopping there again or recommending going there. Also this checker did not pack all of our groceries in the cart when we left. We did not come home with our eggs and honey we purchased.

This review is for Devin or Kyle is one of the cashiers at Fred Meyers. Today I got to observe him be treated very poorly by a woman who self righteously decided to treat him like a piece of crap and tell him what his job was. She was completely inappropriate and very mean to Devin or Kyle! He was very courteous to the woman youre probably trying to meet all her needs despite her attitude. I just wanted to commend the man as hes probably going to hear a different story from the customer. No one in customer service deserves to be treated like that!

Always find what you need. They do very occasionally have clothing that is labeled wrong (tag said small after purchase and wearing, Ive realized Im wearing a large) I have had staff be rude to me, but they change so much it isnt a problem. Their jewelry department is nice, and attentive. Located by a Starbucks, if you like that, but with a Petes inside why bother going to another store. They have a full deli with seating. The roasted chickens are a quick delicious dinner option. Still do the can returns and plenty of parking.

I usually have okay experiences when I come here, but I got to give it to one of the cashiers there. I think his name was Johnathan, and he was very courteous and happy and ready to ask me how my day was going and also put a smile on my face with some silly jokes he told me. He was also very careful and receptive to how I wanted my groceries packed. I appreciated his help very much and will be looking forward to and looking for him again on my next visit. My rating 5 stars and a very happy customer.

the nonexistent customer service paired with their anything-but-subtle L.P. no doubt make for a less than ideal enviroment. i suggest they chill with the severe profiling and ask if they could help find anything. Id be thrilled if I received a hi, how are you? let alone actual customer service...... this pertains to every location I have shopped at , just saying. giving two stars for variety of merch since theres usually a decent floor layout.

I shop here at least three times a week. I like the selection and have never had any issues with the products. I often leave my son, who is 3 and a half in the play room with Ms. Sally or Ms. Brandi. Both of whom are very good with all the kiddos. Its a great thing to be able to just drop him in there and wander for a bit having a moment to myself. I go to other Fred Meyers in he area, but this is my favorite.
