I have done all my remodeling with Home Depot. If I had the kind of experience that I had today, I would have done NONE of it with Home Depot. I was trying to order flooring and NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE, wanted to help me. I was shuffled off to the front service desk at every opportunity. The front desk even called flooring and said they were supposed to take the order. They did for my kitchen! Very frustrating!!! Then I was told that the Hawthorne Home Depot didnt have any of the flooring I wanted. I went back to the display and counted 32 boxes of my flooring under the display. Really!!!!??!!! I had to return 3 times and still didnt get my flooring ordered. Horrible service. They essentially told me to go home and order it myself. Every aspect of my kitchen remodel was from Home Depot. After this experience--never again.

Will not go back to Hawthorne Home Depot because of one employee. I have been going to this store since they opened and had a few problems here and there but not like this. I just spent a lot of money over the weekend and needed 3 keys made for my new door. When I went to the department to get the keys made the employee ignored me. He helped 3 customers that come up after me when he knew I was waiting for him to make my keys when I said something he said he just needed to answer someone’s question. Leaving me still waiting for my keys. I have been in customer service for over 30 years and you wait on people in order, if you are not capable of making my keys tell me don’t tell me you are going to help other customers first. I will be going to LOWS from now on.

This Home Depot typically has all items in stock, and the staff Ive talked to have been friendly and helpful - almost always knowing the exact location for the item Im looking for, or taking the time to walk me over to find it. The only issue I have with this store - and its a big one - are the staff who walk around in dark shirts attempting to sell you services, as well as the booths set up to sell services and items. Its annoying to have the people walking around approach you, and I dodge the booths so I dont have to say no to someone. Remove that stuff Home Depot. If I wanted it, Id come for it.

Customer service is usually very poor. Once in a while you might get an associate on a good day, but dont hold your breath. Its better if you know what you want so you can get in and out quickly. The people working the check-outs are unfriendly and seem angry most of the time. If possible Id suggest using the self-check register. The computer has to be their friendliest employee.

Home depot make you buy a warranty for any product in case that something happen to the product but at the time of the purchase the sales do not explain that there are some restriction on the warranty on the power tools and when you try to get the equipment tool fix they make you go in a circle with many stories and way to not change the product.

Actually lost money shopping here. Used a PayPal credit to order an item. Home Depots awful inventory system said there was 77 of the item, but they called to say there was a "missing pallet:. So they cancelled the order, and I lost my PayPal credit. So if you want to lose money, order from this Home Depot.

Rodney. The most disrespectful employee at any store ive ever ran across. Him being the Manager at Home Depot i at least expect respect. Not only did he call me a "loser", but has made it his personal mission to torment me every time i enter the store. i would sue but his not worth my time and energy.

Long lines here are the result of lazy and incompetent management. There are lots of people working there standing around doing nothing. There are never enough registers open. The clear message is, "We have too many customers. We dont need your business. Go someplace else."

Since home depot and Lowes are pretty much the only place to get supplies for work (aside from local hardware stores) , Ill go to home depot before any other place. Lowes is basically home depot, but twice as expensive. I like the tool rental selection at this location.

One of the good Home Depots in our area... Well supplied, great customer service, and right by the 405... easy to get there when you are going up and down the 405. And there is a Costco near by and there is a Trader Joes near by... this is a hot area to stop by.

Not one to usually review, however my children and I went to go a pick out our Christmas tree. A very nice young man, jade approaches us and started helping is pick out the perfect tree. We greatly appreciated his efforts and attentiveness! Thank you!!!

It is huge and it is great. But like many other huge stores, the lack of high quality customer service is there. When I can buy almost anything online, when I get to Home Depot I am looking for an advice from a pro, and I did not find it here.

Way too crowded and incompetent checkers who cant direct lines. "This is the cash only line"....how about you say that before having us wait 10 minutes and forcing us to go to the back of another long line. Or better yet, use a sign!

No customer service,need to purchase a set of milwake cordless drill and inpact,no body help wait 10 munutes and ......hit the road,I understand even if you helping another customer tou can make eye contact or acknoledge.

Good luck trying to get a sales associate. They see you and run in the other direction even when you ask for assistance. Happened more than once with more than one associate. I just needed a stupid lock.

Great plant person who is generally in the aisles toward closing, but most of the time hard to find correct help anywhere toward closing and then walking aisles can be very difficult to negotiate.

Very well stocked. Paint department is always crowded. There is a tool and equipment area. Lots of check out lines and self check out when you have a few things and dont want to stand in line.
