Old style hardware store, with slightly curmudgeonly, but knowledgable and helpful people. Unfortunately the rumor is, that they are yielding to gentrification pressure that has been gripping Venice for years and has now reached. Word is the place is soon to be another yupster eatery. Fill your hardware needs as long as you can!

I love this place. Its old school. A lot of reviews say the staff arent helpful or friendly, but Ive always gotten very good service there. Im often overwhelmed in hardware stores and cant find what Im looking for, so I generally ask for help and always get a helping hand. This is the only hardware store I frequent!

Friendly place for the most part, but the guys in there have led me down the wrong path multiple times when trying to purchase the right item or tool for my job. Ive even been talked out of buying the right stuff for something "better". I would do my research knowing exactly what you need before going in.

Cyclist take a lock to lock you bike outside because theyre not permitted inside. I rode several miles to find this out. I politely asked if I could place my expensive bike off to the side and out of the way and they said "No!". Lincoln hardware wont get my business ever again.

I love Lincoln Hardware! Knowledgeable, helpful staff, and they always seem to have what I need. Now that I have a cleaning/gardening business, I keep going back to get items other stores, including Home Depot, do not carry. And I love supporting a local business!

I WANT to like my local hardware store, but I cant bring myself to like Lincoln Hardware. Not friendly, not knowledgeable, nothing to make me want to go back. I now go to Dicks at 12216 Venice Boulevard. Now THAT is a hardware store I can love.

Theyre a dying breed- a real local hardware store. They have more items than it looks like- just ask. Pipes and fencing and bigger items are tucked away in back. They also have good advice when you dont know quite what youre doing.

Quaint hardware store almost right across the street from Tomato Pie Joint. Parking may be difficult to find at times, but its nice supporting local businesses. Prices are decent and I love that I can make key duplicates here.

Home depot killed the small service based hardware store, and left us with big box monopolization. When you need a simple piece of hardware this is the better alternative.

Small but useful store. Prices are higher than the big box companies but these guys can actually point you in the right direction.

One of the last true great neighborhood hardware stores. This place is a vital part of this truely great beach neighborhood.

Decent oldschool hardware store but not much time is put in to carrying products that are useful.
