Good grief -this place is just horrible on all levels! Once they have your money, they could care less about you. Right off the bat, I noticed that the mileage on the truck did not match the mileage on the statement I signed. Salesman Mike Keane tells me that they drove my truck to Fairfield to install the bedliner. I look at it. Its not a Nissan - it looks like a piece of crap with plastic plugs to conceal the tied down hooks that cant come out with using a screw driver. Mike says this one is better. I was too tired to argue. The next day, my wife looks that bedliner up on the internet and finds out I could have bought it myself in any auto parts store for $175. I was clearly ripped off because Mike told me the bedliner was $400 and he would split that with me. She called the sales manager (Craig) - he tells her a long B.S. story on the hows and whys of this off brand liner but finally did agree to put the right one in. (fortunately I had not traded my old truck in so I had something to drive to work) Next: The truck interior and windows were dirty - I actually found cigarette ashes in the backseat! I guess they figure if they hose down the outside, all is good. I complained about it - they offered to clean it - but when was that going to happen when I work six days a week? A better idea would be to clean it BEFORE you sell it. Next was the fiasco it took to get my permanent plates. Theyre excuse was "somebody quit." The sales manager actually hung up on me! Can you imagine a place treating a customer like that? Only after my wife made a formal complaints to NissanUSA did they product my plates on day 29 of my 30 day temp. Thank God DMV caught the fact that they didnt even spell me name write on the temp docs. Another three + weeks pass and still no title. I called NissanUSA consumer affairs to tell them that itired of waiting and then about an hour later, my wife called and spoke directly to the dealership (I wouldnt have bothered!). They connected her with Craig who said that it takes a month before Trenton sends us the title. Note that when I picked up the plates, the girl at the desk said it would be two weeks. Whos telling the truth? Anyhow, I have to assume that while he was talking to her someone interrupted him and told him NissanUSA had called and said that I complained about not getting my registration. This apparently totally pissed him off and he turned on her and actually started hollering! She did say that she didnt know why they were saying that and said that maybe they are just as stupid as everyone else involved in this mess (note - that would include us since giving this dealership a second chance was clearly stupid!) That statement caused Craig to completely lose his temper! I was sitting right next to her while she was talking to him and his voice got very loud. I couldnt hear the words - but I heard his tone was clearly hostile. Are you kidding? When is is acceptable for a SALES MANAGER to HOLLER at a customer? This isnt a school yard, and this guy should not be employed by any business that allows him to interact with the public. About two hours later, he called my wife back and said that they were mailing the title to us today. She said thank you and hung up. So - lets see....was the title just sitting around the dealership or did it miraculously arrive in the mail today? What do you think? I think that this is just typical incompetence. Conclusion: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE - everyone there is incompetent and the sales manager is literally hostile.

My engine FELL OUT OF CAR while driving after bringing here" I own a 2009 Nissan Versa. The CVT transmission went out around 96k. No problems until then. Warranty was extended and transmission fixed at Nissan of Butler NJ in 2015. However, approximately 10k miles after transmission was fixed, the ENIGINE LITERALLY FELL OUT OF THE CAR while I was driving down a side road going 35 mph. It was hanging 2 inches off the ground. So hazardous! Neither corporate nor the dealership who originally repaired the car would take responsibility for either shoddy workmanship or poor car manufacturing Either their mechanic made an error putting the engine back in, or Nissan is making such cheap cars, your engine may fall out when you hit a pot hole. Very dangerous! They would not fix it for less than $1000. Why should I have to pay for their error which literally could have gotten someone killed? The car is still not running properly, but I will not take it back there and out $1000. What a horrible thing to do to a customer. Ill never buy Nissan again. And definitely never will buy a car from this dealership. I am also reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. An engine should NEVER fall out of a car, warranty or not!!

Route 23 Nissan is a great place to buy a car. PJ Flattery is the most honest/funniest/best salesman. We live in NY and we went to almost 10 Nissan Dealers in NJ,NY,and CT, but could not get any deal done until we went to Route 23 Nissan. PJ went through all the informations clearly, and we ended up with a new 2015 Nissan Rogue SL Premium. There was no hidden fees and everything were straight forward. The price we got for the Rogue is the lowest by far compared to any other dealers. Some dealers will only sell the car to you for the specific price if you finance though them and is kind of annoying. We love our new Rogue, and I would definitely recommend any one to go to this dealer. Look for PJ Flattery. He is an awesome salesman.

Carlos and Richie are rock stars! I came in needing a vehicle stat and interested only in a used vehicle because of financial restraints. They figured out options for me, took care of financing painlessly AND got me into a brand new vehicle the same day! Customer service is top notch! I look forward to working with them in the future!

Route 23 Automall was everything Id hoped for and more. The staff was professional, yet friendly. I drove my brand new 2015 Nissan Sentra off the lot that same day. Everything went beautifully and I highly encourage those looking for a vehicle to stop by Route 23 Automall in Butler, NJ.

I had a great experience with Carlos leasing my Nissan Rogue. Carlos was informative and helpful, but not at all pushy. He made the experience easy and even enjoyable. I also met various other staff including the manager, service, and finance and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Great service, top to bottom. Great selection of cars, and SUVs. This the second car purchased there in the last year. PJ in sales is great throughout the process. He explains all the different options for purchasing and leasing. I would go back and recommend to friends and family.
