The car I bought from a big-name local dealer got hit and totaled by a teenager. The insurance company paid off my loan, and gave me what was left over, which wasnt much, but it was just about enough to cover a used car if I did my homework first. I didnt want to get another car loan, so I went looking online for a good, cheap used car from a dealer who seemed honest. After a bit of research, I went to Below Bluebook first, and I didnt need to go anywhere else. Kevin, the owner, is a pretty straightforward guy. He has two mechanics on staff who know what theyre doing. And the most important thing about them is that they stand behind their merchandise. If they miss something while looking over the cars they put up for sale, they will make it right. One of the front tires on my car must have lost a weight, and it was making the wheel shake, right after I bought it. I didnt know what was wrong, but was afraid the wheel was going to fall off. I texted him from a parking lot. I had my baby in the back seat, so I was kind of freaking out about it. Kevin sent the mechanic out to where I was, and he checked it, told me a tire was probably out of balance, and then asked me to bring it in the next day. They not only fixed it, but they also put new brake shoes on it, which I hadnt asked for. Ive driven that car 1000 miles so far, and its still going like a champ. There are a couple people who reviewed this place badly, and I can totally guess what happened: they are holding the dealer responsible for their decision to buy a car that has defects that are specific to the make and model they bought. Some cars are just crappy; for instance, the Jeep Compass I was driving before the accident had to get a new alternator almost right after I bought it, because there is a plastic clutch on the alternator that always wears out at around 75,000 miles. But that was MY fault for not looking it up before I bought it. ALWAYS RESEARCH THE MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR OF THE CAR YOURE GOING TO BUY. IF YOU SEE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THAT TYPE OF CAR ONLINE, CHANCES ARE ITS GOING TO LET YOU DOWN, NO MATTER WHO YOU BUY IT FROM. ITS NOT THE DEALERS FAULT IF YOU BUY A POORLY-MADE CAR. Ive looked my car over myself, and am satisfied that it will hold up well for me and my kids until its time to get another car. Lets face it; a used car is USED, so its never going to be perfect, but you CAN find a good deal on a reliable used car if you get the right car from the right dealer, and I found that at Below Bluebook. I am extremely happy with the value of the car I bought. In fact, I like it more than the car I was driving before, that I paid thousands more for. They offer financing, but if you can save up a little bit of cash, you probably wont need it. The next time I need a car, Im going with these guys. They have proven to be trustworthy and professional, and THAT is the most important thing to consider when youre looking for an inexpensive used car.

The good reviews on here are fake, written by the owners. I bought 2 explorers from these clowns, one for me and one for my girl, the engine blew on the first one within a week, and the transmission blew on the other in less than 2 weeks. I contacted Kevin and he said hed help me out and get me another car which never happened never heard back. They buy cars that are on their last leg at the Adesa dealer auction and lie relentlessly to customers about the condition of the vehicles and the fake warranty they provide is trash its basically a scam. Stay away, go somewhere else, there are better dealers selling better cars for the same price or less.

As soon as I walked in to search for a vehicle for my children and I the staff was right on top of it with me. They showed me my van and the staff explained everything to me about the vehicle and the maintenance that has been done with it. They were very clean, professional, and caring. I want to thank all of the staff for your help with my purchase! Keep up the great work. I definitely will be sending friends and family to you! My children and I are so happy and satisfied!

If I could give Dwight less than 1 star I would. Day 89 and my car malfunctioned... accelerator didnt stop on the highway, I had to throw my car into neutral doing 70MPH and slam on the breaks. Im currently hiring a lawyer and suing this POS. I hope nobody is as dumb as I was to EVER buy from this rip-off establishment. Dwight hung up on me anytime I tried calling to tell him about how the car almost killed me and innocent lives on the highway around me.

Owner not much better. He does not trust his employees with the keys and yet they are open until 8pm. He leaves at 5pm. If only peering through the car window with both of my hands against my head was an adequate inspection, I would be a proud owner of a car. Oh...wait...but I still would have to wait for the owner to cough up the keys!!!! before I can take it home. Im good.

I purchased a car here from dwight smith and was very pleased. I was looking for a cheap car to commute back and fourth to work and they had just what i needed, and it was under my budget! He was up front about the vehicle so i didnt get any surprises after i left. Very pleased, i highly recommend this dealership.

My brother bought a nice looking 2001 Pontiac Grand Am from them like 5 weeks ago ...the body is very good & the mileage is in the 90,000s but just a few days ago the engine blew up (for some reason) & they claim to know nothing about it ....DO NOT buy anything from these people! Youve been warned!

Explorer had current emmissions sticker, but had crack in manifold, felt like getting carbon monoxide poisoning before I even drove. The fuel was on empty and there was no one there to either put fuel in or give money to get fuel. What a joke. Never did drive it. Too many issues to waste more time.
