My girlfriend called to ask about what to do with a hamster that we got only a few weeks ago, the hamster has been having seizures and we cant afford to just straight take it to a vet for a check up sp we tried to consult petsmart and without any attempt to even console or consider any small solution or give any sort of comfort in the present situation they just simply stated that if we had the reciept they could take the hamster and give us a new one. What kind of "advice" is that? Even recommending we take it to a vet didnt even cross their mind when we were on the phone with them. The amount of disrespect for animals and their care is ridiculous. Only wish we could help the animals they have there because they obviously dont give a damn about any of them aside from their monetary value.

This was my first experience here. I came in on 10/15/13 around 315p, with my Golden Retriever I was told it would take about 4 hrs for a wash and and dry, I called 2 1/2 hrs later to check on my golden, I was told he was half way done and drying, they would call when he is done. 20 minutes later I get a call from them telling me that my golden has chewed on himself so they wont be able to bathe him.....they offered a free wash for the next time we come in...... My golden was left in there cage the whole time ignored, my golden was wet and chewed on. They offered to take him right to the vet cause they would have first priority, I waited while they went to talk to the vet then they came back and told me to call and make an appt tomorrow. I am very disappointed!

Not the best pet shop experience, I feel like they are understaffed. I always have to go hunt down an employee if I need assistance and disrupt them in the middle of their task at hand, which makes me feel bothersome. Not the best crop of animals either, I always prefer my local Petco over this PetSmart (if I cant get the animal from a breeder). Their betta fish are very sickly and overpriced and there is always dead fish. So, not the best place if youd like to buy an animal, but they do have a good selection of supplies and materials and I much prefer thier feeder insects to that of the Petco nearby.. I think they should downsize their animal selection and focus on their supplies stocks and employees.

Made an appointment for our dog to get a bath and furminator treatment. They called us after an hour and said that our dog seemed nervous and that it took a few mins to get him in the kennel and then after another hour they called and said that they were about to trim his nails but..."he wants to play with the other dogs and can we reschedule for next week when we arent so busy?" Why even have an appointment if they dont even do anything to our dog after 2 hours?! Isnt this their job? Yes...a big puppy is nervous to be stuffed in a small, random kennel the first time he is getting groomed and wants to play with other dogs. Very unprofessional and we will not be going back.

This place is pathetic! it shouldnt be called a petsmart at all! I came in with my dog, and started walking around looking.. at one point I had to use the restroom, and looked for 5 minutes.. then I asked an employee and she gave me a dirty look and pointed.. she didnt even bother telling me where the restroom was! RUDE! when I finnally found the restroom, the womans restroom was locked. I knocked with no response and waited about 5 minutes. i went up front and asked for the manager, waited for 10 minutes and finnally just left.. like I said, this place has horrible customer service.. go to petco and dont waist your time at this petsmart.

NEVER going here again. My little dogs with a lot of hair came home with burn marks from the hot clippers and my short haired dog now has to be sedated to get his nails trimmed due to these ladies. They cut his nails way to short to the point that he would take a step down with his front paw and start yipping. He now wants to bite any groomer that goes near his paws. I guess if you dont care about your dogs well being this would be the place to go.

Always nice and helpful. Some stuff is sort of expensive but there are a lot of clearance items and cheap toy bins. Always sales as well which is nice. I was looking for a medium harness for my dog and most harnesses are $20 but I was able to find a great clearance one for $7 and I was very happy. We have four dogs in our house as well so the cheap toy bins are nice. The toys are usually $2-5 depending on what they are so I can get a few.

Decent store, layout is okay could be better. Lines are usually on the long side as they normally only have one cashier. They do do dog training as i will see them walking them around the store the few times that i have gone there and the dogs seem very well behaved so it seems to be working.

Most of the products, I usually buy at Walmart for cheaper but they do have selection you cant get. Fish are surprisingly healthy here. My purchases have lasted for five years or longer. Fantastic location with plenty of parking. Getting in and out is easy.
