This place is the only one of its kind in town, and apparently, theyre very aware of this. Ive called these guys a few times for different things. On the phone, theyve been very dismissive, uncooperative, and generally any help or relevant information came with some difficulty. Within about 30 seconds of the most recent phone conversation with them, inquiring about a ignition coil for a scooter, which is a pretty universal part, the associate was practically yelling at me, "If its not a Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Honda, I dont have the part for it." When I went in to look at helmets, I walked all the way through the store, tried several on, and was almost to the door on my way out before a sales associate indicated any interest in me as a customer. Most auto parts dealers in town are reluctant to refer people to this place. I give 2 stars only because they do have a decent selection of bikes and parts. Evidently, they are not interested in selling even universal parts to anyone who doesnt have a Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki.

I recently had the pleasure of making my first motorcycle purchase through Chris Lawson and Tom Wood Powersports. Due to traveling from out of the area I got there closer to closing time on a Saturday then Im sure their families would have preferred, but you would have thought their team had just arrived by the way they treated me. They asked about my budget and worked rigorously to provide information on any questions I had. Not once did I feel they had an agenda or pushed in away into a decision. Chris simply did what he could to accommodate me in every way. If you are ever in the market or have questions as to what may be the best option for you. I highly recommended making the trip to visit with Chris and Tom Wood Powersports to ensure you are on the best path to a pleasant experience. You wont leave disappointed. 5 star establishment!

Avoid an any cost. Sales only wants to talk to you if youre paying MSRP or you have a trade in they can give you nothing for. Parts wont even go in the back and look for anything. Went in to see if they had a shift rod end. They asked me what its for and I told them, Triumph, but every bike has one, I dont need a triumph part. She REFUSED to go look for anything or help in the least bit, stating repeatedly that they dont carry any parts. UM, whats that wall of brake pads and rows and rows of shelving for??? Dont lie to my face because you re lazy and dont want to do your job. Absolutely ridiculous. Ive had better service at the harley dealership! Not to mention they charge an insane amount for repair work. $150 to swap a set of tires I had already bought? No thanks, Ill go to the place down the road that does it for $30.

The staff at Tom Wood Powersports Anderson and Indianapolis locations was incredible for an anxious, high maintenance beginner motorcyclist like me. I am a woman in her 40s who wanted to own the right motorcycle for me and achieve me endorsement, finally. With the staff going WAY above and beyond, I was able to overcome a thousand fears and complete the Basic RiderCourse 2. I can now safely enjoy riding my Kawasaki Ninja this summer and look forward to riding my Triumph Street Triple. I am especially grateful to managers Curt (Indianapolis location) and Cito (Anderson location) for their outstanding and essential help achieving my goals!

Called and placed order for oem honda parts and when I went to pick them up they had ordered aftermarket parts. Aftermarket parts that they charged twice as much as I could of ordered online shiped to my house. Junk aftermarket parts that i would never use, thats why i called a honda dealer for honda parts. Multiple orders they have messed up for me and my fellow riders. Well never shop there again.

I took my fourwheel in there and they had it for several months , I spent over $1200 there and they told me it was done and when i got it back it still wouldnt even run because the intake boot kept coming off . There were also several other things wrong with it. I will never take anything back there again.

Ordered parts. Finally went to check on them as I had not heard anything. Parts person said the had then for a while but no one had called. Wont go back. Ill drive 188 miles to Lancaster Ohio before I drive 20 miles over there. At least Ill know when I am going to get the parts and when I can pick it up.

I love Tom Wood Powersports. They are always very friendly and easy to work with. I needed some parts for my daughters dirt bike and they help me get everything I needed ordered and called me as soon as it was in. Emily in the parts department is always so nice to work with.
