Over the past three years, I have seen a decline in customer service at S&S. The faces of the service/parts department change so frequently, it is impossible to keep a patron/dealer relationship. Here is a summary of my experiences: (I have the 3 year maintenance plan) -After my initial 600 mile tune-up: I noticed 3 tool marks cut/melted into the plastic of the air filter housing. (size and shape of a flat head screw driver) When I brought it to their attention, they said that a rock must of hit it... And I replied, then that rock would of taken out my leg... (I must look like a dumb girl....) I spoke with Chris in service and he said he would keep an eye out for another housing. By my next mileage service, he had left that location. He was awesome- attentive, personable, timely.. -After another service, I am riding from the shop and my left rear signal lens bounces down the on ramp of the interstate.. Had I not picked it up minutes before close, I would of returned. A little superglue did the fix though. -Shortly after another service, the cap nut for my shifter is gone and I notice this by the screw bolt riding up with the vibrations. Home Depot for a replacement. -After < than 2000 miles of my previous service, they tell me my rear brake needs replaced. I had a new set put on in the PREVIOUS SERVICE- 15,000 miles with the oem pads... His response - you must be riding the brake.... I told him the new ones chirped from the get go and the oems lasted 15,000+ miles..? After some bickering, they agreed to replace them at no cost and to not use the organic pads that wear faster.. -Recent service, 17,000+ miles.. I told the service department that the rear brake was chirping from the last set they put on. (he said there must be dust under the pads).. I was fearful there would be a repeat brake issue, but they were fine- I did not need another pair.. -On the other hand- my front tire was developing rot (this I knew and by watching my tread, I knew a replacement was coming soon) So I agreed to replace both tires. $270ish without mounting. -At home, I researched prices to see what their markups were.. and the price was, surprisingly, the same. However, I saw that I could Upgrade the width of the tire on the stock rim for about 30 bucks more... So, when I dropped the bike off at the shop that evening, I inquired about upgrading the rear tire... I about hit the floor when he quoted 80% more then what I could get it online for. So I asked about them mounting a tire, I bring in. He said they would but it would cost double for mounting and that I should talk to the parts guy and see if they could match the price. After showing the parts guy the website, he said he could not match the price, but he did knock off a good 50%. So, I agreed. We were going to mount the front the next day and then they would call when the rear came in the following week. -Waiting for call the next day, I finally gave in and called after 4pm and they said it was done.. He must of heard it in my voice because after the rear got mounted the next week, I got a call by noon saying it was done. I really hate to give a bad review of a place. If I did not have the pre-paid 3 year service maintenance plan, I would of switched to another shop after the brake pad fiasco.

Initially, I had some issues with CC. Mostly because they were not very friendly when I showed up early and asked for a contact for service. Then, when I was trying to make a deal I was offered a bike above the sales price initially. Secondly, when they tried to make it right by making an offer on another bike saying they were making a deal just for me, trying hard to earn my business, but it was the same deal I could get both on line, or at their other location off the Brooks Road exit. I decided to talk eye to eye with the salesman and let him know we were not able to make a deal on the sport bike. To come clean I told him I was looking for a sport bike because I was not able to look at a "gandpa bike" by my co pilot. Before leaving, my lady and I went over to the Indian side of CC. There we had an entirely different experience. We were greeted by a volunteer vet who knew the bikes and their history. He was excellent. Before we knew it, we were checking out a new Indian Road Master. They allowed us to take a demo ride and we were hooked. But, they didnt have a paint scheme we thought was perfect. So, they told us they had an Ivory over Black just un-crated but not prepped. It was gorgeous. We signed a deal for this bike. But, the approach by the salesman was such that we were ok to no haggle the bike. That, plus they give a vets, like me, a discount and 10% off equipment. This was not offered on the import side. Or, "Id have to see if they are offering the Vet discount". The way I see it, either you support vets consistently, or you do not. We are looking forward to working with Cat on extras over the years. Im happy with the outcome. I may have wrapped up a deal on a new FZ10 if the deal plus vet discount was offered. Now we have something that my lady and I have both test driven and we know we can take on long rides, no problem. No, I didnt trade in my Fat Boy. I give 4 stars because the original deals offered, were not really anything special. Vets were more appreciated on the Indian side, which means more to me than the price. CC Should have given the same consideration on both sides of the wall and if they say something is a special deal, it better be something that you cannot get at their other location.

I live 2 hours drive from this place or any other Yamaha PWC dealer. I called 3 times to get pricing, and was always told I would get a return call, but I did not. After several days of trying to call for pricing, I reached Matt who gave me a price that was way over MSRP. It did include sales tax. However it was much much higher than I was quoted at another dealer while on vacation, and the other dealer was including the trailer and a cover, but I would have to add sales tax on. I asked if CC Powersports would be winning to match another dealer quoted price that I had in writing. They said they would get back with me, but did not. I decided to drive over to see the unit. I got there and was shown some similar units, but the one I asked about was still in a crate, so I could not see it. I once again asked about meeting the price quote I had in writing, and they said no. They basically just take MSRP and add their standard fees (Freight, setup, Doc fee) and sales tax on, and that was that. So I left and was going to think it over. I decided I wanted to buy, and I called back to offer $300 less than they were asking, which was still far more than quoted by another dealer that was a 10 hours drive away. I already had a trailer and I knew I would have travel costs to get the other one, and the time, so I thought it would be worth paying a little more for only a 2 hours drive each way. They said they would call me back. I called 2 more times over 2 days and never got an answer on if they could accept my offer, so I went and bought else where. I ended up driving 4 hours to a dealer that had a unit in stock and was willing to do all the paperwork and pricing over the phone. CC Powersports is a nice clean dealer overall with lots of inventory to see, and accessories etc... But they are not very responsive, and not willing to negotiate.
