Weve been going to this Petco for a while now I got my Parakeets from there and we just bought two Leopard Geckos. Were actually planning on going back today to get a toad. The guy that helped us with all out live animal purchases is an amazing guy and he told us a little back story of the toad that really made us want to get him. Once we went and one of the employees was walking around with an Iguana on her chest and checked us out and we just thought that was the coolest thing. Good guy and other employees, they help you out, a big variety of food for pets. Will continue to go and get future pets from here.

Yesterday was my first time to visit this Petco. I was amazed with the staff. This is the first Petco that the staff went out of there way to answer my questions. Also, Stephanie is the best. She took time to show me the best items to use to keep my dog from pull on the leash. I dont remember the other staff members name that helped me. She was also a great help and both made you feel welcome. We most definitely will utilize this store and not Lees summit anymore. Never felt welcomed at Lees Summit and could never find anyone that wanted to help you. Happy Customer, JoAnn Mockobey

I bought my children some fish from Pet Smart eight months ago. We are in the process of moving back to Ca., so I had to empty the tank. I did not want to flush the fish and I was already in GV and didnt feel like going to Ward Parkway to Pet Smart, so I called them and asked if they could take them for us. They said they could and will adopt them out. We had a male and female Beta and two female Guppies. They took all four with open arms. Lol

This Petco is fantastic. The staff is always helpful, and the store hasnt been out of stock of anything I need. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is because of the prices, though I assume its this way at every Petco. The prices are outrageous with almost every product. I only come here when I cant wait for something to be shipped from elsewhere.

Always helpful and friendly staff. My dog loves coming here. They have a fantastic selection for a store that isnt overwhelmingly large. And what they dont have in stock, they are happy to order for you with free shipping right to your door. They also offer grooming, and usually have select animals up for adoption from KC Pet Project.

This Petco is new to the area. It has a good selection of pet products, an animal wellness center, and grooming and training services. The layout inside is a little different from other petcos but its not hard to find your way around the store.

Went to the store in search of food to help my dogs poor appetite. Got the food. The number of brands of dog and cat food is dizzying. Ample supplies of almost anything you might need for your dog or cat.
